For the first time ever I am writing a review before leaving the restaurant. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this visit. It is Bears/Packers playoff night and this place is packed. I don't know if the manager thought it would be dead in here or what but service is worse than anywhere I have ever been. And I don't blame our server. Even going to the bar the only bartender is constantly leaving the bar to go help tables. Well over an hour for appetizers that all came out cold and having to go to the bar several times to get drinks is absolutely unacceptable. If I could give zero starts for management I would. Only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars instead of 1 is because of the hard workers here. Melanie, Brooke, Miguel, Brandi and Josh. They bust their butts every time I have been there. They're engaging and so welcoming. Only issue I have is the food is usually cold by the time we get it or there is some mistake with it. I'm not sure the name of the other manager. I think his name is Louis...completely unprofessional when you overhear him talking to coworkers saying how hungover he is. I've heard this on multiple occasions. I came here for lunch with a work group. They do not have a separate GF menu nor was any item on the menu marked. I was provided an allergen pdf print out. It appeared the nachos did not contain wheat or gluten however when I went to order, the server indicated they do not have a dedicated fryer and the oil contains gluten. It should really be noted as such on the allergen menu. Luckily the server was knowledgeable and told me. The food is fine. They have an all you can eat wings(classic/boneless) the food takes so long to come out you are full before you can get your second or third serving. Service is fine. We have ordered here numerous times, and although the food tastes fine, it has never failed to arrive ice cold; and what this quality costs is a mere $17 for 10 chicken "nuggets. " Adding onto this already terrible service, today we ordered from the location, and amongst various products, they somehow managed to mess it up, the boneless wings soggy with the complete wrong sauces and overall very gross, which we got a "refund" for. (3 dollars back & 50% off a future order with a limit of $10, though this may be a DoorDash issue.) Reordering mere chicken tenders, guess how they arrived? WITH THE EXACT SAME ISSUE. Honestly, it was really funny, but that still doesn't excuse the poor quality. ($2 refund. Yay.) I was there at Vernon hills last Friday for the Chiefs game. I got there early for the 7 kickoff to eat. Unfortunately the bartender her name was Brooke was very rude and worried about her friends at the end of bar to talk not to get an order. When she finally after waiting she got beer and the way she put it on counter, it spilled and made a mess she didn't say or do anything. I had to borrow towels from customer next to me. To clean mess. She has been there a lot and there short of help as Luis told me. Thank God, she left her shift otherwise I would have left with the person I was with and gone else where. Absolutely terrible service and horrible food. Totally empty in a Friday night. Uncaring and unmotivated staff. Completely worthless.

This location along with the others in the area have gone to crap. Skeleton crew working for all the tables (which are 90% empty) yet there's always a wait. Quality of food, especially produce is awful, wilted lettuce, celery that looks like a rabbit chewed it and spit it out. The bathrooms on an airplane are cleaner than the tables, utensil, and floor here. I get covid affected the industry, but the standards here are non-existent. read more

Made an online order for my husband on Sunday, against my better judgement because we've had bad experiences before. Made the order at 3:45 pm, the order was to be ready at 4:30pm. Made our way there and went in at about 4:25pm. We couldn't get literally anyone to help us for about 25 minutes, until we asked everyone we saw for a manager. We finally get our order and the manager was apologetic, said we would be refunded for our order. Was I still charged? Absolutely. I usually love BWW but from the moment my wife and child walk up to an empty host stand where we waited 5mins to even be greeted as employees just walk back and forth on their phone and laughing. Me, my boyfriend and friends got BWW. We all got our food 30 minutes later. An hour goes by and my boyfriend still doesn't have his food. BWW was not even that crowded. We ask for the bill to leave and they charge him for half his meal that he didn't even get. We told them he is not paying for a meal that never even came out. Today's visit was a very mixed bag. On the plus side, the wings were as delicious as usual and our server, Rebecca, did an outstanding job of handling the lunch crowd all by herself. The downside was, as several have mentioned, that the seating was haphazard after being ignored for a while, followed by "sit anywhere in the bar" instructions. They can't get there act together!! It's a sports bar yet no one knows how to work the remotes and change channels. On a Saturday they have everything on but college football. When you ask them to change channels they can't do it. 8 different people asked for a given game to be turned on and they can't figure out how to do it. This place had lost its touch. When it first open the prices were respectable but now everything is overpriced. I ordered 150 wings on a Wednesday for Super Bowl Sunday at 2pm. When I got there on Sunday, the manager told me the wings were canceled. The wings were never canceled by me or anyone else. Then told me we can make them but they will take 15 minutes. It took over 40 minutes and I wasn't compensated for the inconvenience. The wings barely had any sauce and had the taste of old grease. When it comes to the food it's no different then other bww. Which for me is fine. I enjoy the boneless wings and the lunch special is a good deal. Brook is a great friendly server/bartender and will remember you and what you ordered last time you were there. The only real criticism I have is I do believe they are understaffed as when it gets busy during lunch she is the only one taking orders for the entire building. Also she has to bring the orders out too. At other locations usually they at least have someone to help by bringing orders out. I know post pandemic it is hard to staff consistently with more people doing carry out vs dine in but by now you would hope they could work something out. read more

I'll skip the normality of a review because it's a B-dubs and I have to assume you've been to one before. If not, stop reading now and go get you some WINGS. Ok, so three things: menu, food, service: 1) The menu has been revamped and is really slick (presented on a piece of wood. In fact, they have metal trays for the wings and the (side) sauces and it seems like they are classing it up a bit overall. I was impressed! All the usual (food) suspects are still there though, so don't worry. 2) The food is as it always is... my biggest let down with a B-dubs has always been lack of consistency. Sometimes the wings are perfect and sometimes they are sub-par at best. This time around they tasted ok but my boneless were just drowned in sauce that left half of them barely sauced and the rest OVERLY sauced. This type of stuff is why I've shied away from B-dubs in general over the past few years. 3) The service at this location was SPECTACULAR! Our waiter, I forget his name (but he totally looks like Keanu Reeves!), was fantastic. He was chill, super friendly, and paid us a good amount of attention when we needed it. Additionally, he cracked a few jokes and even brought us a few free samples of some beers. He's a great dude and I hope you get him as your server when you are in! So there you have it, the usual B-dubs experience (for food) that left me impressed with the menu/presentation and blown away by the service! read more

I've been back quite a few times and they've changed up a few employees. Service during the lunch hour could be much much better. Waitresses are clueless with keeping up with those seated outside. Even the food service has worsened. I'm seriously thinking about only having salads here, from now on. Couple times now the wings / legs had a spits' worth of sauce on them. I don't know why Buffalo Wild Wings is still advertising. Everytime we attempt to dine there, they are "short staffed" and have incredibly long wait times -- and 75% of the tables are empty.
