This restaurant advertises large party and event accommodations. We brought a party of 30 with a week's notice and they were somewhat unprepared. The staff forgot menus and asked what we would like to order, they didn't remember who ordered what and were yelling asking who's is this and that. But the worst part was at the end they gave us one giant bill and said one person had to pay it in full or if we wanted it broken up by families it was going to take them a really long time. I honestly don't get it... why aren't more people going here?! I've been here twice on a Saturday around 7 PM, and both times it's been surprisingly quiet. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here thinking this place has everything people usually look for. The setup is awesome--indoor and outdoor seating, a huge bar area, TVs everywhere for the games, a little party room in the back, and those giant garage-style doors that open up and let the breeze roll through. Even the bathrooms are clean and modern, which honestly deserves a shout-out these days. As for the food, it's what you'd expect from a good bar and grill. Nothing crazy different there. Which is the only reason I took one star off. I wanted something different than other bars. What truly stands out to me is the atmosphere. It just feels cleaner, nicer, and more inviting than a lot of places like it. They even have DJs on Saturdays and plenty of room to dance. Maybe I'm missing something, but I keep leaving wondering why this place isn't packed. If you're looking for a spot to grab a drink, watch a game, hang out with friends, or dance a little, this place is definitely worth checking out. read more

I was here with my usual trivia team to try their free Trivia Night with Not Rocket Science Trivia (Tuesday nights). The greeter was friendly and sat us in the appropriate area to participate in trivia. The menu was underwhelming, my teammate was looking for something more Irish like the other locations offer. He ended up getting the corned beef egg rolls and a side of fries. I just got a side of tater tots because I ate dinner at home. My other teammate got one of their Tuesday specials--a half price burger and fries. I really enjoyed my tots. Our waitress seemed really...young? and we had to keep asking for refills on Diet Coke and Dr. Pepper. The egg rolls were interesting, yet good. The venue was clean, quiet, and had a nice bathroom. My first visit to this location was for an early dinner. When we arrived at 4 p.m. on Monday, we were the only ones there. It was nice because the place was quiet -- and it still wasn't busy when we left, so I don't know what a typical night is like. But for us, it was a good atmosphere for conversation and a chance to check out the environment. The place was clean and definitely more of a restaurant atmosphere than bar. I ordered the chicken flatbread, which as served as a sandwich. It was full of flavor, including a chipotle mayo that was delicious. It came with a side of fries or tots and I chose the tots. They were cooked well with a crispy exterior, but they were WAY too salty. Dial the salt back to about 25% and they'd be great. My friend ordered the fried fish and gave it a thumbs up. Our server was friendly and attentive -- but again, we were the only ones there. Overall it was a positive first experience and I'll be back. But will probably pass on the tater tots! read more

Finn Mccool's Irish Sports Pub is owned by the same company as Moretti's so I had high hopes only to be very disappointed. My husband and I met a friend there and we ordered a bunch of appetizers. We had the parmesan truffle fries, BBQ rib basket, crispy chicken tenders, and corned beef eggrolls. Our food was severely underseasoned. The parmesan truffle fries did not taste different than the standard French fries. The best item was the corned beef eggrolls because the dipping sauce gave it some flavor. Service is good. They came back several times and with appropriate breaks. Just nothing appealing to eat. Very little for vegetarians and nothing for vegans. No healthy options except a basic salad. In Ireland you can easily find and expect to find hearty healthy and good vegetarian and vegan options. I know this is the USA trend to focus on meat and cheese and unhealthy fried but it would be nice and actually more authentic to see some healthier options and a dedicated vegan meal or two. There's not even a vegetarian meal just sides. I also am aware it's a patio but the drinks should be served at least in the reusable plastic that can be washed instead of the worst plastic and wasted throw aways. The ambience is casual and a basic pub feel. Nothing awesome but it's fine. I do like the large outdoor patio and the alcoholic options sound good. read more

Lets get the bad out of the way---bad service, like really bad. With no apologies for the badness. VERY limited menu--burgers burgers and MORE burgers. NO HEALTHY sides. None. Fries or tater tots..or a tiny scoop of coleslaw, Cmon. I asked for a side salad. "We don't make those only big salads". K. Now the good. My unhealthy greasy burger was good. Slaw was good. Looked forward to trying this place, walked away VERY disappointed. Went bad from the jump...we were seated by the hostess and sat for 25 minutes waiting for a waitress, got up and flagged her down. Placed our drink order, both drinks came back wrong after waiting another 20 minutes. Got the drinks corrected and ordered food, sat for 45 minutes and one entree comes out. Tell the waitress we were in a hurry can you check on the other entree? 20 minutes I flag her down, she forgot to check. Please bring the check and pack that entree to go or cancel it. Another 20 minutes she bring the check, 2nd entree is still on there but no sign of it. Paid the tab and left, we were 2+ hours in and life is too short for that! Staff is clueless and poorly trained. Manager was behind the bar yelling at the staff but not helping, just a bad vibe/experience all around! read more

Finally got a chance to stop in this weekend and for this location to only be open for 1 week I must say they are off to a great start! Staff were all super friendly and attentive! Food was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to return again soon to try out other items from the menu! Also looking forward to the outside seating opening up. Well, since we live close by we thought we would give this place a try. We went on a Tuesday because they have trivia night. We arrived at 5 and the place had a small but nice crowd. We mentioned that we were there for dinner and trivia so they sat us right in the area for trivia, which had its own designated area. We sat and waited just about 13 minutes until a server came over to take drink order. She was very nice and attentive. The problem comes from ordering 4 drinks, and nothing difficult. A Jack and coke, vodka and tonic and mule and a margarita (both the last 2 were in their specialty menu), the length of time was ridiculous, and bar had 2 bartenders (because the bar is huge) so there should have been no wait. We ordered fish fry, bang bang chicken sandwich, burger, sliders, and a Reuben sandwich. Fish was soggy on all bottoms, bang bang chicken was breaded chicken with buffalo sauce barely any sauce, burgers were ok and the Reuben the bread was cold and didn't work with the cold meat. We then had another join us and it took 25 minutes for his drink and food order to get placed. It showed up 5 minutes before we were leaving. None of which was servers fault it just seems she was set up to fail. The menu is nothing really. They have many burgers and a couple of chicken sandwiches, some other items but they really need to look over the menu. We really want this place to stick around they just need to tweak a few things l. Now for the trivia, it took almost 2.5 hours to go thru 8 rounds of 3 questions each round. Way way too long. We timed 8/9 minutes in between each question. If the restaurant would have had more servers on game night time may have gone better if we had drinks in between questions to take our mind off of the fact that game was going so slow. I had a great experience there. The food is great and the service was amazing. My waitress was Irena and she was very prompt and attentive. She recommended your Guiness burger and it was just as amazing as the service she provided. I will definitely be back to eat here again. read more
