Two and a half stars. Coworker treated me to happy hour. Daily special ahoy! Loved the bartender, but the buffalo bites were weirdly mushy, and the wing drummies a tad overdone. Spicy lemon pepper saucing was okay, if a little liberal to hide the toughness. Magic hats and a "meh" black magic (oh ye guinness b&t, the things I try when my good friend blue moon isn't around) kept me happy enough to enjoy the hockey game on widescreen high def. Bathroom pleasantly clean, though the Starbucks in that grocery store down the way needs to be open later! 4/28 update: They stopped carrying the two Starr Hill brews, so Shock Top is quickly becoming my light go-to beer here, when Magic Hat's feeling like a bit much. Good place to watch the Caps play, they turn down the music and turn up the tv. The new east cowboy flavor is pretty mild but not terrible to the taste buds. read more

Wings here are decent but the prices have gotten out of control. Thursday night all you can eat wing special is now $40 per person. The 10 wing order is $17. Service is still unbelievably slow and the restaurant was 2/3 empty. The pricing and service have made my visit here tonight my last. I've been trying food from the area that I never had in the past. This time the Buffalo Wing Factory in Reston was up on my list of eateries to visit locally. First, I am extremely picky when it comes to sauces - BBQ, buffalo, honey Bbq etc. I had their honey bbq wings with light sauce because I want to taste chicken as well as sauce with each bite. I was very happy with how the chicken was cooked and with the amount of sauce on each piece. I found it was a perfect chicken to sauce ratio. Second, there is a trend to make all sauces, sandwiches and dressings come with a smoked flavor. I am a traditional flavor person. I was very happy that the sauce was honey bbq and not smoked honey bbq. If want smoked flavor I prefer the meat to have a smoked flavor and not my sauce. They have me exactly what I wanted. Lastly, I was apprehensive about ordering anything other than a small order because I was concerned with being disappointed in the flavor of the sauce and texture of the chicken. I know now when I order again to get a larger order because it left me wanting more. Also, I added on the crinkled fries as my side. They even impressed me with that! Normally, a crinkled fry gets soggy in the container, is soaked in oil and is not all that special. Not today, the fries were lightly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside as a good fry should be. Kudos to Buffalo Wing Factory for making a picky eater very happy with her lunch order! Peters makes a point to check in on not just me but my dog, always remembers my VARIETY of drink choices and just adds to the chill vibe. They did a great job with renovations making it an ideal spot to catch a game, hit up happy hour with friends or just relax on the patio. Reston location, to-go order. The Buffalo Wing Factory has a reliable menu with wings cooked perfectly with a lot of sauce choices, and lots of other options to round out an order of wings. Friendly service, and the food was ready as soon as I got to the restaurant - about a 15 minute drive. The food appeared to be well packaged, and I was careful but the bottom of the paper bag was drenched in sauce when I got home. No idea how. Food was great though, I would either dine in or bring another bag with me next time. Restaurant had a ton of big screen TVs so would be a great place to watch some games. read more

My husband and I just had the most irritating experience here. We called in our order and were told 10-15 minutes. We waited exactly 15 minutes then headed over to get our food. The food wasn't done yet for some reason so we decided to wait at the restaurant. I asked for a margarita and the bartender made one. The he asks me for my ID which I'd left at home since we were originally just coming out to get food and go right back home. It's fine that he did not want to serve me without an ID, but then he rudely laughed in my face shrugs and yells "Anybody want a margarita?!" To the other bar patrons. Why wouldn't you have just asked me for my ID first to save us both the irritation? And why the need to mock me when I didn't have it? Just rude. Then my husband and I get home and there is 1) No drink even though he paid for one 2) No sauce even though we asked for blue cheese 3) My wings are COMPLETELY dry with all the sauce sitting on the bottom!!! Moving forward, I will drive the extra mile to go to the Sterling location. Not packed whatsoever on a Tuesday and it took almost an hour for our to go order to completed! My husband put in our order at 6:48 per the receipt and waited at the bar for our food. Wasn't until almost 7:30 when he noticed they were packing it up... We ordered two kids meal, boneless wings with fries and an extra side of onion rings. So not a lot of items. Wasn't even good when we got home, minus the onion rings. They pack the fries underneath the sauced wings and the fries are pretty much not edible. Safe to say we will not ordering from here moving forward. Good wings but this place is a cluster. I really want them to do well but their staff is working against them. No one knows anything about the menu and no one has tasted anything. Staff are generally lazy and not very helpful. Mostly based on takeout orders. I've eaten in once and experienced a lot of the same. I came here for a lunch with a group of co-workers for lunch on a Monday afternoon, it wasn't busy. My guess is people come here more often in the evening or on the weekends. I got the tenders with fries. The tenders were quite large, but very good. It was fried fresh and fries were very fresh as well. My co-workers got a variety of items from the menu including salads, pizza, wings and sandwiches. The salads seemed the favorite lunch item. My friend was really craving wings for lunch. So I decided to join him on his cravings for wings. As we walked up to the door we saw the sign. All you can eat wings, tenders, fries, and a fountain drink for $13.99. We didn't say anything to each other abut it just yet. We looked over the menu first. I was originally only going to get 10 wings, that alone was 8 bucks plus a drink that was almost 10 buck right there, so for the value the all you can eat was the best. The waiter came by and mentioned the special. My coworker said if you are game, then I am. So we did. The waiter suggest we both start out with two baskets each. Each basket had 7 wings each. So out came out 14 wings each. As we woofed down the first 14 we put an order in for two more baskets each. My friend wanted to do 3 rounds. There was no way I could. I was struggling trying to finish my 2nd 14. Well I finally did as did my friend. The waiter came by and asked if we wanted round 3. He said yes, I said no, just give me 1 basket. I can't do 2. My friend also agreed and he got one also. It came out we finished and we were stuffed. That lunch we each put down 35 wings. To think I alone caused 9 poor chickens to give up their lives so I could eat their wings and legs. Do I feel sorry for them?.........hmmmmmmmmmmmmm......na, I don't, but I think the porcelain throne at worked was happy. Overall the wings were good. My rating is only based on the wings. I don't know about the rest of the food. The wings were all hot and crisp. There are tons of flavors to try all other we tried 10 different flavors. Some were good, some were not. Some were hot, some were not. I like the teriyaki flavor the best. I'll be sure to come back again, you really can't go wrong for the price. I will preface this review by saying I have only been to the all you can eat events in Thursdays and have only ever ordered wings. The staff here are completely simple; lead by an even stupider manager. They have no sense of their table order and will loose your wings among the crowd. Everything time they are confronted about it they act so pitiful. I have been to this location three times and every time I have come the wings and fries are cold and soggy. The restaurant underwent a renovation and, despite the improved look, the quality is awful. A few staff are incredible but you have to check the kitchen before you order. The past manager was great, the new staff ignore needs and do little to foster quality. The family environment is gone and the bathrooms, often questionable have wreaked of marijuana. Beer can often be found warm, like you are sitting it outside for 20 minutes before you drink it. Unfortunately, no one seems to care. read more

For anyone saying the wings are small, you guys are just used to over fed, steroid stuffed chicken that is unnaturally large which is why these wings look small. They're perfectly normal! I went on a Monday because I was craving wings and buffalo wing factory did not disappoint. My server Zac was attentive and speedy with me and his 3 other tables. I hadn't been in here in years and I will say I was surprised the food was still good. Only comment would be less oil on the grilled veggies, it was a little oily but that's my only complaint! Side note, this place could be thriving as a sports bar and restaurant if they took the time to remodel on the inside and make it more inviting, better signage outside, lighting the place up a bit. Also advertising could help too. When I moved back to Reston I got a bunch of coupons in the mail for ledos and other places in the shopping center but not theirs. Little things like that could bring people in to keep the business going, It's clearly still going BUT as a business you should always be looking for ways to improve your business. read more

Disappointing experience all around. Called in to place my order and the girl made me repeat it multiple times. I specifically asked if I'm the 10 piece wings I could get two sauces and she said "of course". I also asked for fries as an add on to my wings. I get to the restaurant to pick up my food and the girl at the front is friendly and points me to the takeout counter. They hand me my food and I notice there are no fries so I check the receipt because the price I paid was about right for the wings plus fries. The problem was they charged me for two 5 piece wings which is the same as 10 plus fries. I ask why and they say it's because I got two different sauces. I'm sorry but it does not cost an extra $2.50 to mix a second sauce and no other wing place has ever charged me extra for this, or if they were going to they make it very clear prior to ordering. Sorry but this location is terrible. The buffalo wings (mild) are just way too salty with little to no buffalo taste. Here's the thing, the wings are teeny, not tiny..TEENY. I took them home and couldn't believe how small, I mean teeny they were. I paid close to 12 dollars for these little things. I don't even like big wings because of the crispy skin/meat ratio...but I couldn't believe how small these were. Tucked away in a strip mall, doesn't look like much outside. Inside a somewhat sterile sportspub with an extended bar area. Great beer selection for a mall place, great selection of quality beers on tap and some really nice bottle beers. Decent service, friendly staff. The sliders are pretty good, the fries are pretty good McDonald's style, and the chicken bites (boneless wings) are very good. Excellent sauces. read more

Came by the restaurant on Saturday evening for the first time and the food was great .The staff were friendly and helpful and gave me there recommendations. This is place is good if you want chicken wings and great brownie sundae. They also have wing night on Monday nights for 70 cents. I went in to get lemon pepper wings. Sat at the bar. Asked the bar tender for crispy wings. And ordered some drinks. The bar tender brought out our food and than went outside with the rest of the waiters and didn't come back in till our food was finished. If you come to this place to drink I do not recommend our service was one of the worst I have experienced in a while. I go to a restaurant to drink and eat, I do go out to finish my drinks and meal and be waiting 15min before I have to walk outside to get my server. Do better. read more
