Although, it is a good bit wonky getting to the restaurant through hotel parking and navigating the lobby or floors. I would consider Marlin Moon to be a mid scale dining establishment serving finer cuisine. Colors are nautical in theme, vibrant to light blues, whites, and other decor that adds a little touch of sophistication. Service was pretty good. Waitress was friendly, polite, and possessed a happy upbeat attitude. I had the snakehead Latin style which was really good. Was hoping for a different kind of fish than what I normally get home, and Marlin Moon delivered. Only downside was the tiny diced onions in the corn salad. I picked most of them out. Wifey had chicken Chesapeake which she liked also. Whatever she didn't eat I did before the take home box could hit the table. Definitely would return for other offerings. First and foremost, we could only choose from the left side of the breakfast menu. Which was actually a good variety of breakfast food. It included drinks but not the alcoholic ones. We had a waitress who was an intern and then we had a waiter that served us 2 days. The waitress did really good and was engaging with us. She made a few mistakes but fixed then and apoligized and fix everything. The waiter on the other hand was not engaging first day he took our order and never interacted with him until we had to ask for more drinks and then he slapped the check on our table. We are int he process of calling as we were charged for our breakfast because he must have not put us in as part of our package. 2nd interaction was better and brought more drinks before we had to ask. Food was amazing. Lots of food, cooked perfectly and did not disappoint. The restaurant was awesome and and very inviting. And cudos to the hostess. She was great!

It was a friday night and place wasn't too crowded but we were hungry. This first thing we noticed they had birch beer on tap. The only time we get birch beer in our area was at the Erie County Fair. They actually refilled our glasses with a pitcher. Food was so good and filling. We were starving driving 10 hours. My hubby's pot pie was huge. The filling was in the bowl and made a huge puff and it covered the bowl. I had a half a chicken with mash potatoes. Everything was tasty and our waitress was great, friendly and patient.

I was genuinely blown away by the quality and size for all you can eat. The size, the freshness, the value. You don't find this combination often in Ocean City. I went absolutely crazy. I also tried the steamed shrimp but it was just ok. I'm just not a big fan of the old bay seasoning which is very popular in Maryland. But overall this is a great place for a quick lunch and many people also order to go and take the food to the beach which is just a block away.
