Observing a neighbors 'new' yard being put 8n I called to ask if they could help me troubleshoot the drip irrigation I placed 7 years ago Having just sprung a leak that double my bill. Andres was very responsive And quick to meet with me. However, this company does not want to help with repairing a system already in place since my quote was $16,800. On top of that I asked about helping replace mulch when it was complete requiring 5 yards of which he quoted 26 yards @ $10K ( My yard holds 5 yards 3-4" deep). After reading up on how to check the system, I have 2 areas that need attention, my valves are in good working order. I do not need a complete new system nor do I need 26 yards of mulch. Maybe he could have offered referrals to help me fix the areas identified. That would have been helpful. read more

BulletShark's highest marks are rewarded to customer service. Andres is super friendly and above all trustworthy. Dogs, kids, wives, husbands, everyone he communicates with in your family will be treated with dignity and respect. As a bonus he's also a little silly and fun to chat with. His crew (while not as fluent in English) are also high caliber individuals. On to details. Our yard was not level, our patio door opened up to grass, there was no retaining wall from our yard spilling over into our neighbors below us, and we also needed drainage as the side yard would overflow and slowly leak into the garage (yikes!) Our initial quotes from others were around $40,000. Andres presented several options at different price points. You could then of course choose options a la carte. We worked on a plan to level the yard, side yard, install drainage (backyard, side yard and pipe out to street), pour concrete, lay sod, AND build a retaining wall for nearly half the price. The job was executed in March 2020, we got a fair amount of rain over the course of the job so it's hard to present an accurate time of completion but I will say that it was very fast. Maybe 3-4 weeks if there was no rain at all but I think this lasted around 4-6. Andres operation is extremely organized and efficient. We have a young baby and he proactively kept us aware of days when there would be more or less noise. We are beyond thrilled with the work Andres and his team executed and as impressed or more impressed with the customer service. We had an outstanding experience with Bullet Shark. Sent out inquiries to five companies, BullShark was the first to reply, one replied and never showed up for the scheduled appointment, one was kind enough to call and say the was too busy and two others never responded. Andy came out the next day to assess the work and made great suggestions. We had an estimate within a few days that was reasonable and the work began a week later. So far so good. The crew showed up at approx 7 to 7:30 AM daily and worked through 4:00 PM. The work was completed in 11 business days. Great attention to detail; this team took the time to do the job right. Work involved removing concrete patio, leveling backyard and adding drains, adding drip system, adding pavers to make a new patio, adding rock, replacing some fencing, and adding a concrete walkway. Andres is enthusiastic and friendly. He created a beautiful design for us. The only problem was his design was $30K above the budget we provided him. We were able to narrow it down and negotiate to just creating the retaining wall, which turned out well. His workers did remove piles of rock and slate which my husband had been saving, without confirming with us first. Andres had promised to preserve one of our plants and replant it. The plant was apparently killed during construction and taken to the dump when the project was finished. This only came up after I asked about the plant. He said he would replace it. Wow, I cannot say enough good things about this company. Andres and his team were amazing. Andres was responsive, honest, and knowledgeable. His team was efficient, punctual, and such hard workers. We initially needed drainage installed in our backyard, and Andres came out to give us a quote. He gave us an instant quote, and we played around with ideas of redoing our backyard as well. Andres gave us a 3D design mock-up of our entire backyard. We decided to only redo part of it, but he made it easy to pick and choose what we wanted to keep out of the design, and what we wanted to pass on for now. All together they did drainage, cement pavers with beach pebble in between and graded it so the water wouldn't collect at the house, and an area for our fire pit with the lights and light poles. Loved that Andres showed up wearing a mask when he came out to our property. Since we are in a pandemc it was appreciated. He is very professional and his crew works very hard to complete the job. Always showed up at 7:30am. We had a retaining wall installed in our front yard and some new concrete in an area that was cracked. We needed to replace the small wooden retaining wall (really more like a fence) between us and our neighbors. I reached out to several different companies to get a quote. One never responded. One said they don't do stand-alone retaining walls but would be happy to do an entire hardscape remodel which could include a wall. BulletShark Landscaping was the only company who actually came out to see the job and give a quote for the 73 feet of retaining wall, new side fence (very short section) and gate. Andres was very professional when he came to quote us and we quickly decided to hire him to do the job. He was very mindful of the importance of the project and the erosion control issue that the rains would bring and did his best to get us scheduled quickly. We waited about three weeks from quote to project start. While we did experience some unexpected challenges, Andres worked it out and walked us through them with the utmost professionalism. The crew was at work by 7am and sometimes stayed until 5pm - working very hard the entire time. It was wonderful to hear them enjoying their work and they are clearly happy employees. Andres owns all of the equipment needed to do the extensive excavation and earth moving necessary for our job and he knows how to use them expertly. He was a great leader for his team and didn't hesitate to get in and do the work himself when needed (leading by example). Andres kept us up to date with the project progress constantly and listened when we had questions or concerns. When all was said and done, we ended up with the wall of walls!
