I have used several times over the pst 6 years. The first time was a problem with the shower. The hot water was not working, I called Bumble Bee and they came right away and were able to fix the problem. On the same visit I told then my garbage disposal was inoperative. They said no problem we have that model in truck and the new disposal was installed very quickly. The next time we had problems with our kitchen and bathroom faucets. They were both leaking at the base of each faucet. They were replaced quickly. I have found Bumble Bee to be outstanding! The plumber assigned to the job inspected the problem, showed me the cause, and gave me an estimate with the breakdown of the bill before work was done. I highly recommend them! read more

Of the 10 bid estimates I received for the project they were the lowest bidder that had a good reputation installing a gas line to a kitchen island was a complex job that took several days and several people to accomplish they did a top notch job. ensured the new gas line and shut off valve would accommodate the new gas stove. obtained permits and had team present for inspection with City to put everything back together and bury the gas line once approved highly recommended. We hired Bumble Bee plumbing to install a "touch less" kitchen faucet. Although pricier than I expected the plumber completed that task without any complaints by us. While he was here the plumber recommended that we flush our hot water heater and install a new "anode rod" that he explained would extend the life of our 5 year old water heater. The cost of that was $500 and was completed the same day. The next morning we had no hot water for our showers. It quickly became apparent that the hot water heater was working but the water circulator was making noise and was hot. We called Bumble Bee up and they sent the same plumber out to examine it. After spending a considerable amount of time, (at no cost) he explained to us that the water circulator was bad and it was situated in such a way that it could not be replaced without taking out the water heater which would mean we might as well replace the hot water heater with a new one. He said a credit would be supplied for the maintenance he had just performed but the total bill would be in excess of $6,000. We discussed the odd coincidence that it failed immediately after he had done plumbing work but he felt that what he had done to the water heater was not the cause of the hot water circulator failure. I was aghast at the high quote and called my wife in so she could also hear what he said. He explained how expensive it was to get water heaters these days and the job would amount to a considerable amount of labor. His recommendation was to unplug the water circulator and go without it. After a couple days we decided we couldn't live without the hot water circulator and I called another plumber (Water Heater Man Inc) to get a second opinion. I explained the situation to him. He was totally stumped by the story we were told. He said it was very easy to remove the hot water circulator without moving the hot water heater which he did so to examine it. He explained that it would need to be replaced and didn't have an opinion as to whether the failure was associated with the work done by Bumble Bee on the hot water heater. He found an identical hot water circulator in stock and replaced it the same day for approx $1,000 (not $6,000). I also asked him what they would charge to replace the hot water heater and he said approx $1,700. ($2,700 to replace both but said there was no reason to replace the hot water heater) I am at a loss to explain the actions of the plumber that day. The $6,000+ estimate to get the hot water circulator replaced was totally out of line with what I would consider reasonable. I can not recommend Bumble Bee plumbing. After posting review the owner called me and asked me what they could do to make it right. I had already used another company so I declined. It was nice that they offered. read more

We contacted Bumble Bee to work on a sudden water pipe leak within one of our walls. They quickly dispatched one of their folks (Charlie) to look things over. He was very thorough looking at the specific leak as well as a quick general check of our plumbing. He quickly identified the issue and was able to provide a fix. In addition to being technically very good, he kept us involved and informed at each stage of the repair and offered options as we went along. The cost of the repair was much higher than we anticipated, however we didn't have time to obtain additional quotes and from prior experience we knew that plumbing projects are often costly. So I asked them to give me an estimate to replace three faucets, I was going to buy the faucets. They told me to call the office so I did. After calling, they said the service guy will call you back for an estimate. So he called me the following day and I missed his call, but he left a voice message with his call back number. So I called him back that day. After all of this, I called him back and he tells me I have to come out and see it then give you an estimate, I said okay. BUT he never mentioned there was a charge to come out and provide an estimate UNTIL I asked him. PRETTY SHADY. I even asked him for a ball park estimate just so I know what it might cost around and he would not help. This is second time we've had Bumble Bee Plumbing remove the old toilet and install a new Toto toilet, and they did a fantastic job just like the first time. The Technician Jeff, was courteous and professional, answering all my questions so I could understand. He was quick, efficient, and cleaned the area he was working in to make it better than it was when he came. He removed the old toilet and all the material the new toilet came in. We've had Toto toilets for over a decade in many of our homes and they carry them on their truck, both standard and raised. I called them on late Friday and they were here first thing the next morning! I recently had an exceptional experience using Bumble Bee Plumbing and with their technician Murphy. Bumble Bee Plumbing is clearly customer service oriented. Customer satisfaction with pricing, service and communication is certainly a priority from the first interaction through the completion of the service requested. I needed to get a new water treatment system installed as well my RO that I brought from a previous house. Communication was a breeze and very flexible. I had a few companies out for quotes and Bumble Bee Plumbing was more than happy to work around my schedule, updating me several times with phone calls. Murphy was the technician that came out to discuss the options and costs. She was fantastic from the get-go. Incredibly friendly, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. I probably took a good two hours of her time discussing options and costs and she was so patient with me the whole time. Happy to answer any of my questions and clearly making sure she was not pushing me into any decisions I was not comfortable with. Working with me on pricing and figuring out a solution that worked for me. Of all the companies I reached out to on this job, she easily sold me on her service and with using Bumble Bee Plumbing. I scheduled the service which was no problem getting the work done in a timely manner. On the day of service Murphy was out. Once again very professional. Very respective of my time, my home and any concerns. Not shying away from any questions I had. Work was done well and tested throughly. House was left in pristine condition. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Bumble Bee Plumbing was so on top of their communication, verifying the day before service, the morning of service and then calling to let me know when the technician was on their way. Then followed up after the service was complete to verify that I was completely happy with the service Murphy and the company provided. Which I was...though I have no doubt, if there were any issues or concerns they would have handled and resolved promptly and completely to my satisfaction. I will continue to use Bumble Bee Plumbing in the future and will be specifically requesting Murphy to be the technician they send out, though if their other technicians are half as good as Murphy, I would not worry about any of them. I really appreciate the quick response Bumble Bee had to my plumbing backup on a Saturday. The plumber was very nice and helpful. They would have received 5 stars except I think their prices are very high. They quoted me $1000 to hydro-jet my line. I waited to call regular plumber and their quote was $250 for 1 hour and $95 every 1/2 hour after that. I would imagine it won't cost me more than $350 which is a substantial savings to what Bumble Bee charges. Great plumber and great service, prices are way too high. read more

My experience: I called and made an appointment about 4 days in advance but the day my service was scheduled they had a few technicians out sick. Mike from dispatch called me Saturday morning to break the bad news and tell me we might need to reschedule. I explained I had a toddler, a pregnant wife at home and being down to one toilet was making our lives very tough. He said don't worry let me see what I can do. He kept me updated every few hours. He called in the afternoon to let me know Chance one of his techs could head my way if I was home. Chance arrived in 21 minutes even earlier than the 25 min eta. Chance was very professional, he explained everything, showed us pics and anytime he needed to change the repairs he went over everything with pictures and a full estimate. The technician, Tom came out to inspect the reason for our slow drains. He quickly identified the issue which was quite major and took the time to propose multiple options. He showed video evidence and was very patient with my questions and thorough with his answers . I would use Bumblebee again with confidence. Update. Bumblebee Plumbing completed the job and the drains now work perfectly. Tom, Ethan, Miguel and Chris all were professional and courteous. There were a few cosmetic issues after the job and Mike managed to have the repairs done quickly and now the job is 100% 5 Stars. I will say it again - I would use Bumblebee plumbing again if needed. I used Bumble bee to snake a clogged kitchen drain. They answered the phone promptly and came out same day, on a Saturday, to help me out. This is all good, to be sure. The plumber who came out was very clean and professional, he performed his job and unclogged the kitchen drain. I have no issues with the quality of the work they performed. I do have an issue with their exorbitant pricing and upselling. My invoice to mechanically snake a single drain was originally $414. Ooph. They applied a $50 "yelp coupon" to get the price down fifty bucks. They tried to sell me on hydrojetting for nearly $800 instead of the mechanical snaking. They tried to sell me on a plumbing subscription service where, for a price, they will apparently put you to the front of the line or something. I'm unclear on why I would pay to join a plumbing subscription service. They would not quote me over the phone and said they needed to see the sink before quoting me. I almost sent them away when they quoted me the price, but in an effort to just get it done and save the service fee I had them do the work. Last week I had another drain clog. I called a different company to mechanically snake the drain. It was $200 flat. No upselling, no subscription shenanigans, no hydrojetting selling, just $200 to do the same job Bumble Bee is charging $414 for. So to sum it up. They did indeed come out quickly on a weekend. They were very clean and respectful and seem to have performed the work in a professional and quality way. I would trust them to work on my house. But it kills me knowing that I could have had it done for half the price by an equally qualified equally professional company. read more

So frustrating when I'm balancing work from Home, dogs and all I wanted to do was get my valve changed. Unfortunately for them we have experience with another A+ plumber that replaced a previous valve and know what it SHOULD REALLY cost.
