We needed to have a couple of small windshield cracks repaired so my H asked me to do some Yelping and find out if there was a place near us that had good reviews. I remembered seeing several Groupons for windshield repair recently so I started with that, describing to him what the deals were and where they were located. We narrowed it down to two places for me to check Yelp reviews of. I checked this place first was so impressed by the reviews I didn't even bother to look at the other one. The Groupon was $26 to repair 2 cracks of a quarter size or less, just what we needed. I didn't call ahead because we had planned to go to lunch at the Gillespie Field Cafe which is not too far from BumperDoc and a place we enjoyed going occasionally so we weren't exactly sure what time we would get there. I think we got there about 2:30 p.m. and without an appointment or even a call ahead they had our vehicle pulled in to the work area and were working on the cracks within 5 minutes. I was impressed with how polite the workers were from my first contact. Instead of ignoring me and waiting for someone else to find out what I was after, there were two different guys who asked me if they could help me and the minute I said what I was there for, one guy said let me take a look and came straight out to the truck to look. They directed us to the lobby area and probably had us out of there in half an hour from when we arrived. The Groupon covered everything and we never felt that they gave us any less good service because we were there with the Groupon instead of cold cash. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends, even without the Groupon. One thing that impressed my husband that I didn't even notice was that they have a big sign on the wall behind the counter that itemizes the cost of their various repairs so there can be no question what it will cost you and you can practically do your own estimate just by looking at that sign. I had taken a picture of the lobby so when he told me about this after we got home I looked at my picture and could see the sign. Fortunately the photo was good enough I was able to enlarge it and add it to my pictures for this place if you want to refer to it. The guy we talked to, Buddy, said that he was only going to be there for 3 more days and then it would be under new ownership or management, I wasn't sure which. I can only hope that the people that take it over do as good a job as Buddy and his crew seem to do. read more

Brandon the owner of BumperDoc is very very helpful when it comes to pricing along with what you want done. I first contacted them via yelp, along with 3-4 other places rather not put them on blast but BumperDoc in Santee was by far the best price with the best warranty. I got a quote special through yelp for 9 windows lifetime warranty and my rear tail lights to be blacked out with a 5 year warranty. Showed up 2 weeks later on my appointment date stayed true to my quote I received via yelp. Also Brandon went to explain the back drops of tint and tinting tail lights. I went in for window tinting using Groupon. The deal was for 5 REAR windows. So the back window, two side doors, and two small windows on those rear windows (which my car didn't have). I was offered a deal instead of paying full price for the two front windows- but the only bad thing was I ended up paying more than if I were to just go in and ask for 5 windows tinted instead of using Groupon. I learned my lesson.... I'm leaving 5 starts because the service for the tint was spectacular just like it was when I saw them for window tint over 5 years ago. No bubbles, no marks.
