A few weeks ago either someone clipped my right bumper while I was parked or I backed into something (probably the first option). Insurance said I would have to pay my $300 deductible if I was found at fault. Out of pocket fee was $1100 if I went through a body shop to get the whole bumper replaced. I called BumperDoc after several of my friends had recommend them. I dropped off car off on Sunday evening (after hours in the drop box with no appointment I might add). I as skeptical at first when the owner Brandon quoted me $150 for the paint-less dent repair service, but after I picked the car up, you could barely notice it. Highly recommended service, awesome work being done here. Oh and my final price out the door was considerably cheaper, $139 total! I first tried this place by having window repairs on two of our cars. More recently, I had them do a bumper repair. It turns out that my paint color is a difficult color to match. I told them to keep the car as long as necessary; that quality was more important to me than rushing the car out. They explained that they could have simply blended the color to the adjacent fender and I wouldn't have been the wiser, however, they respected that it's a new car and that they didn't want to mess with the fender's OEM paint. Brandon and Philip are awesome! While it took a couple of extra days to match the color and perfect the repair, BumperDoc actually picked up the extra cost of the rental car for the extra days! Imagine that! It's rare these days that a business is actually that concerned about customer service. The repair came out awesome and I will soon be bringing another of our cars to them for a bumper fix. read more

I'm so glad that I found out where Phil ended up at! I was his repeat customer over at the Convoy location and I'm so happy that I found out that he's working for his kid over here in Santee. I went to bumper doc after going to John's Collision repair in order to get a second opinion. When the gentleman came out to look at my vehicle, he just glanced at it and informed me that all I had to do was replace the part with a junk yard part. However at John's, they we're under my car for a while inspecting the damage and gave me a quote in the $1000 range. So for a moment I thought that I was being scammed or mislead by John's. I had to do a little convincing to get the Bumper Doc rep to inspect it more closely, which he finally did. He then repeated, almost instantly, that all I had to do was replace the part with a junk yard part. So I let him go and got under the vehicle myself. As the bumper doc rep said, it looked like a very easy job of just replacing the part myself in a matter of 30 minutes. However, upon closer inspection, the frame was completely damaged and warped and the part that needed to be replaced would never "seat" back into position correctly, just as John's Collision Repair told me. I was a little upset that the Bumper Doc guy didn't want to give me even enough time to properly diagnose the issue, but I am glad to work with the other shop who actually took the time to do their job right. With so many 5 star reviews, I expected a way better service, but I guess when you get really busy, you don't need to be hungry for business or provide a high quality of customer service. read more

They took great care of my 2006 Porsche Cayman that someone rubbed with their bumper and took off. It was especially distressing because I'm trying to keep my ride as pristine as possible and these massive ugly scratches were all over the rear driver's side corner. An automatic gate closed on my truck, putting a long, deep scratch on the rear passenger door of my F150. After receiving $2300 and $1500 quotes from other places, I went to BumperDoc where Brandon Felix put together a $950 quote for me in under 10 minutes. A few days after dropping my truck off at BumperDoc, I received a call saying they were able to match the paint perfectly without having to blend the paint on the cab and passenger door, meaning the repair costed $570 instead of $950. My truck color is Lead Foot (gray) which I was told my other body shops is a very difficult color to match, so the guys at BumperDoc are very talented. They were kind of busy, I was surprised but seeing the results I know why. Brandon was working the counter helping a client getting an estimate for her bumper. He was very friendly and took my info. We walked out to my car that I parked behind the building. He explained he would be able to get my head lights cleared up and pointed to another car in the lot and said it will look like that, I did not believe him but figured give it a shot. He said they would not be able to remove the water since the seal was broken at the top of my headlights as you can see in the pic below. I walked down the street to Starbucks to pass the time while they worked on my car. Brandon called me and told me the restoration was done. It took a bit over three hours for the restoration but worth the time and I did not have to do a thing! I walked thru the back of the shop to the register. I did not see my car out in the back parking lot and Brandon's colleague said maybe it is still in the garage, we looked and it was not there. I walked to the front door and saw a small portion of blue BMW through the front door, and saw crystal clear headlight. I did not think it was mine, i walked closer to the front door and could see my license plate, then i knew it was my car! I looked like they replaced the headlights, but no it was just the restoration!! Truly amazing result. Very honest and trustworthy. I was totally floored with the results of their work.
