Delish! They were a hit in my office. I needed a last minute treat for a birthday, so I stopped in on my lunch break and grabbed a bakers dozen. Highly recommend!! I've heard of the place and got up this morning wanting bro celebrate a birthday by getting something different. I purchased 24 to try a little of everything. Let's just say they were a hit. I would suggest pre ordering or arrive at opening 12pm. Customer service was great as I did not know what or how many of each I wanted. This place is a true gem! I will happily hit the 405 and make my way down to LB just for Bundts on Melrose. First, the customer service is always fantastic! The staff has a very familiar, family-like feel and are consistently helpful.. Now to the treats! I know this place is known for their bundt cakes, but I LOVE the praline cookies. If you are interested in trying on your next visit, they will be to the left of the cash register when you go in. The cakes are classic and good! My go tos are the cinna-bundt, cookies and cream, strawberry lemonade, and red velvet. This place is such a gem. Would highly recommend! Thank you Bundts on Melrose! read more

The most delicious and moist bundts ever! I find many other bundts to be too dense but these are just perfectly light and airy. All of their staple/daily flavors are so good! I ordered through Yelp because I read they quickly run out and sell through their bundts and I was glad I did that. It was an easy pick up process and customer service was just as sweet as their cakes! read more

After reading through the reviews I definitely wanted to try this place out! The presentation was great - I got the Baker dozen and it was neatly organized and well-packaged in the box delivered. Would recommend as a gift or dessert to bring to a dinner party. In terms of flavor though, I thought it was a 3.9 out of 5. The texture of the bundt cakes were nice and fluffy but the flavors were overly sweet for me. It might have been due to the layer of glaze around each cake but it's definitely a dessert that requires a side of milk or water. Fun flavors and presentation - just a little too sweet! read more

Hole Mole...this is seriously good stuff. I am always looking for fun / different things to try for my staff on birthdays, holidays, etc. so I thought I'd gamble on the 24 pack for my assistant's birthday. It was such a big hit, that my team literally went to the calendar to see when the next birthday/holiday was. They talked about the little cakes for weeks. 4 birthdays/holidays later, it is literally a demand rather than a request. They are decadent and delicious. The staff goes crazy. And I'm a hero. FAV Flavors: Lemon Pumpkin (when it's in season) Cookies N Cream Cinnamon Bun (when it's in season) German Chocolate But seriously....they're all good. Very tasty locally run Bundt shop with a great selection. I let my son chose so we wound up with cookies & cream as well as strawberry and while those are not the flavors I would have chosen, they were both excellent. Very fresh and moist, not too sweet and a great size to share or to enjoy by yourself. Prices are fair, service was very nice, store simple but clean and well maintained. I'll have to be back and try more next time, worth a stop! read more

I was extremely excited to try all these various flavors of bundt cakes, but I found out they only have regular flavors everyday such as: red velvet, strawberry lemonade, classic vanilla, zesty lemon, german chocolate, devils food chocolate, orange, and cookies n cream. Each day they have a rotating flavor such as: pistachio, butter pecan, caramel mocha, bleu raspberry, tres leches and many many more all listed on their website. I guess the best advice would be to call in each day to see what flavors they have, or to check on their website before heading there! The worker was extremely nice and welcoming. He offered us mini water bottles as well. The bundt cake itself was a little disappointing. I was expecting it to be mouthwatering and moist, however it tasted like any other normal cake.This may be because I bought the bundt cakes at the end of the day at around 6PM. Also the cakes are extremely small, approximately the size of your palm. Its $7 for 3 mini bundt cakes, and $12 for 6 mini bundt cakes. The cakes were also glazed on the outside (reminded me of a donut). Out of the flavors I tried, the red velvet was my favorite, then vanilla, and the strawberry lemonade wasn't to my liking. The strawberry lemonade was a little bit too sour for me, but I could really taste the lemon flavor in the cake, so if you like that then this flavor is for you! I will give this place another try one day ordering them fresh in the morning and seeing if there's a difference. read more

Had stopped in since I was next door...the cakes here are small minis (think 2 bites). Great flavors available and prices are reasonable. After trying one I understand why they are mini. The cakes are very sweet and the flavors are very intense. I seem to think the cakes are injected with sugar water as they are sticky to the touch. They are good but I like Nothing but Bundt's style of cakes much better for my taste. read more

For my baby shower, my mom had me look up bakeries in Long Beach that were highly recommended for a dessert. It was occurring around brunch time so it was between cupcakes, cookies and mini bundt cakes. After looking at photos and reviews of Bundts on Melrose I knew bundt cakes would be a hit. I called a few weeks in advance to place an order for 33 mini bundts. The staff member on the phone was helpful and took the order assuring me they would be ready they day before and would stay fresh. Now the only reason I took off one star is you cannot special order any of their rotating flavors. I was really looking forward to a few but they still have a good amount in their everyday rotation. When I picked up the bundts on Friday afternoon they were completely sold out! So come early for those of you looking for a treat on the weekend. They however did have my order packaged and ready. All the flavors were very moist and had nice flavor for the shower the next day. I wish I would have brought some home on the plane with me, but I highly recommend Bundts on Melrose and will be back! read more

I was scrolling through IG (Instagram) one day and noticed a box of these little bundt cakes that my cousin said were amazing. They looked soooo good in the picture so I just had to check them out. I wasn't able to go the same day, but made it my mission to go the next time they were open. Yelpers, let me tell you these delicious cakes melt in your mouth! Seriously, they are the best cakes I've had in a very long time and definitely in my top 5 desserts now. I like the flavor selections and already have my favs (rum raisin, pineapple, vanilla and strawberry lemonade). This is a great place to buy a quick and delicious gift for friends, family, colleagues. They even have little trinkets that can go along with the cakes (mugs, journals, etc.). As they grow I'm sure adding greeting cards, gift bags, etc. would be a great value add for the business. I purchased a mini set of 3 as a thank you for a good friend and it definitely made her smile. I also purchased a pack of pralines and walnut cookies that were very good. I am just thankful that I'm not local or else my clean eating plan would be destroyed by going there every day and getting 9+ mini bundt cakes at a time LOL. Yes, they are that good. I am giving Bundts on Melrose a definite 5 star rating. Great customer service, patient, kind and GOOD. Looking forward to seeing them expand and grow. read more

The person who assisted us was really nice! And let us have a sample of their praline cookie-- which was really to die for! We bought a pistachio, red velvet, German chocolate, Devils, cookies and cream. I'm really bummed out about all of them but mainly the pistachio one. I bake all the time and this one had no pistachio flavor. I've made even pistachio cakes and none have taste like this. This was just sweet. No pistachio flavor at all, and the green color to it looked more like food coloring vs the natural green color you see in pistachio baked goods. Unfortunately I have no desire to come here again. On the bright side, they give you a free pen. :) read more

Had a last minute urgency for cake. All cupackeries we're closed on Sunday. Thankful bunts in Melrose was open and accommodated my large order. The cakes were a hit at the baby shower. Had a taste for red velvet today so I yelped for a bakery close by. The reviews say it all. Robin greeted me and was very helpful. These bites of bundts are simply amaze-balls!! Very moist and delicious and SWEET! Honestly the best red velvet I've ever had over any other cake(s). I can't wait to try them all! I got 9 bunts for $15. Not bad at all. Each time you taste a cake flavor you are going to think that it is your favorite, until you taste the next one! These cakes will literally stop you in your tracks, make you close your eyes and shake your head because of there deliciousness! The mini cakes are the perfect size, about 3-4 bites. My sister and I were on a foodie/bakery holiday in Long Beach, May 2-9/15. My sister is a baker and decorator and wanted so much to check out this beautiful bakery. It did not disappoint! We ordered a coffee and each had a cupcake. The cupcakes were vanilla based and had wonderful butter cream frosting. The bakery is decorated in a soft blue with lots of white accents. Very tasteful and very European looking. We wanted to linger at the table a lot longer but marveled at the amount of customers that made their way through the door to order a delightful treat. read more

Why have Holey Grail Donuts when you can have Frosted Cupcakery instead?!…read more Okay, that might be quite the low blow considering that Holey Grail Donuts recently closed for good here in Long Beach, but Frosted Cupcakery seems to have withstood the test of time for ~20 years. Possibly a testament to how good their cupcakes really are?! So I had a Fivestars reward for a free cupcake from Frosted Cupcakery, and since I was planning an afternoon getaway by the beach, I wanted to stop by to claim my free cupcake before expiry. Frosted Cupcakery is located in Belmont Shore two doors east of where Holey Grail Donuts used to be. If you're still not sure where that is, it's on 2nd St about a couple blocks east of the intersection with Livingston. They had a bunch of different flavors to choose from, but the Royal White Cookie Butter cupcake piqued my interest since it sounded like a winning combo that was hard to beat. I asked the employee to describe what it was, and once she said the words "Biscoff cookie", I was immediately sold! They had plenty of that flavor's cupcakes in stock, which kind of led me to believe it wasn't a popular flavor, but I still went with my gut instinct. The employee grabbed a Royal White Cookie Butter cupcake from the display case, placed said cupcake in a white paper bag, added a Frosted Cupcakery sticker on top, and handed it to me while wishing me a good day. I did ask her how long the cupcakes would last in the fridge, and she went to the back to ask a supervisor, giving me more time to peruse the available flavors shown in the display case. She came back shortly later to inform me that the cupcakes should remain good for about 2 to 3 days on the counter. On the way out, I also grabbed a Frosted Cupcakery card, which contains the contact info for the shop as well as the list of cupcake flavors, some of which are seasonal, gluten-free, or even vegan! The card also mentions that the cupcakes are handcrafted, likely with love. I spent a couple more hours chilling by the beach before going home to finally enjoy my cupcake. I noticed there was an unusually large see-through (grease?) spot on the side of the bag, which almost made me think it wasn't a cupcake inside the bag. When I took out the Royal White Cookie Butter cupcake from the bag, I noticed a divider between the frosting and the wrapper, which I thought was a nice touch to separate the two entities of the cupcake. However, I struggled a bit with removing the divider before taking my first bite, which was superb! The buttercream and cookie butter crumbles on top did make for a winning combo, and I wish the flavor could have been prevalent below the divider as well. However, even that flavor seemed to have dissipated after the first bite akin to an exponential decay. They have a few tables inside where you can enjoy your cupcakes with friends. However, take note of the fact that they only allow a maximum of 2 dozen cupcakes for walk-in customers; this is denoted by a sign on the display case. If you want more than 2 dozen, you'd have to place a special order, likely online, but I'm sure over the phone would work as well. Parking? Well, certainly not the easiest as it's in Belmont Shore. While there is a small parking lot directly behind the cupcake shop, I believe it's either paid parking or reserved for other businesses like Philz Coffee or F&M Bank. I had to find a spot on Livingston and walk over, which wasn't too far of a walk, but could be worse on the weekends. Overall, I liked the complimentary cupcake that I got courtesy of Fivestars, but I didn't think it was *that* good to warrant the 5th star from me. I do agree it's a great spot to order cupcakes from, especially if you're planning a day at the nearby beach!

He came to greet me and introduced himself as well as inform me of their purpose and mission. Bless this heart! Clean, spacious, and well organized store. There's street parking available when construction is not in the works. Ricky from the parking staff was very polite and informative with showing me how to get around. Will be back for sure. Thank you guys for all you do!!
