Very nice brewery with large community tables inside and smaller tables with umbrellas outside. I tried the Terrarium IPA. Soft and tropical. Nice smooth IPA. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of parking and away from all the hustle and bustle of other breweries.

Came there on Sunday afternoon. Huge outdoor space, ordered at the bar, quick and easy Not in love with the sour that they have...I think it's peach and watermelon ? Forgot the second one...but their porter is legit. Almost all brewery that I visited their porter taste like water-ish but bunker has solid one

We discovered Bunker Brewing when they were hosting Portland's traveling food truck party Gastro Gogo. Their flight prices are inexpensive in comparison to other places we've been to. I was pleasantly surprised by the Hacienda Lime (Mexican style lager with a bit of lime). It reminded me more of a margarita squeezed into a beer. Like many of the breweries around Portland, my favorite thing is the dogs. I love that dogs are allowed. Beer + dogs = happy life!

Here on the 4th of a July and there is only one woman working and she KILLED IT!!! There was a huge line when we arrived and she helped every person in line while keeping a smile on her face. Slowly and steadily the line shrunk, and once she had served everyone in line, the whole brewery broke into a raucous applause for a job well done. Amazing work! The owner really should be made aware of this and should recognize her for the job well done! Oh, and the beer is pretty good too!!!

Terrific spot and wonderful outdoor space. Great beer options. Usually a food truck, often live music. Indoors is also very nice. The brown & the Machine Check are favs.

A hidden gem! They're located off the main drag so one would need to be explicitly looking for it, which doesn't seem to be an issue as they had a steady stream of guests on a Saturday afternoon. Love Czech style beer and grateful to have discovered Bunker Brewing during our trip. All the beers on tap were fresh and prices are very affordable. Unfortunately, as a nano-brewery, their distribution is very small. While we wait for the day they reach NY/NJ, we bought a bunch of cases to-go at the brewery (good thing we packed a big cooler!).

What a fun place...it was so blasted cold that night, but my friend wanted to go out for a beer. OK...maybe it was my idea for the beer, but she drove and brought me to Bunker. Now, the drive to Bunker is a bit sketchy looking, but when you come around the side of the building...there is a great sized lot...clear sky view towards the airport and a lot of space. I can only imagine what the area is like on warm days...outside seating and all. Can't wait to check that out. The inside was a basic, local brew pub environment with ping pong table and lots of inside seating available. They have snacks which is always a good option to have for people. The ability to try flights is my favorite, so you can get a sample of the different brews available. The staff was very friendly and patient especially with me. Always asking questions and trying to figure out which 4 to choose. Seems like an easy task...well go out with me sometime! Thanks for a nice relaxing Friday night.

In a city that is known for it's craft beer options, it makes it difficult to stand out and be that "go-to" place. I had heard of Bunker Brewing from some friends who had gone numerous times, however, being that I live in the city, I found it hard to get myself there, being that it is nestled in the outskirts of Portland. However, I finally had a chance to go one Thursday after work, and I was finally able to see what I was missing out on. I ended up getting to Bunker brewing around 4pm on a Thursday afternoon, and it was quiet with only a couple other people at the venue. Getting to Bunker can be challenging at first, as it is in the very back of a large building, but that is what keeps the tourists away from this hidden gem! The space is very industrial, but the bar and facility is maintained nicely and looks great! So why four stars and not five? The day I went, they only had one IPA on tap, which was good, but I just wish they had more of a selection. Overall, this is a great brewery, especially when you need to escape the commercialized nature of other breweries.

It's a shame that the art of brewing a solid clean beer has been lost. Everyone is trying to one up the other due to competition and beer no longer taste like beer. Bunker fits this description. I asked around and was not the only person who thought this. C'mon guys..... Overall service was fine and atmosphere was just ok. Go ahead and give it a try and form your own opinion.

Loved it here ! Super cool vibes. Warehouse / garage remolded into a cool brewery. We got a flight of 7 different beers - we loved the Machine ale and got a 4 pack to go! Super nice staff as well

Bunker has never let me down. Premium beers in a downtown location and priced slightly better than it's more well known zymurgists building those fancy brewpubs in Gorham.

I'm not a beer drinker, so I'll leave the beer reviews to everyone else. But the FOOD? YES. I had the grilled chicken Caprese sandwich and added a side of fries with their fancy sauce. That fancy sauce deserves its own moment. One of the things I really love about Bissell Brothers is the space and the vibe. There's outdoor dining, a bar area to the right that's 21+, and a family-friendly dining area to the left. They have plenty of their beers on tap, specialty drinks, and when we were there, the bar had a huge projector screen showing college football. And because apparently Maine has decided we need to combine all the best things in life... one table had a group of friends playing Cribbage. Good food, good atmosphere, football, Cribbage, outdoor seating, and fancy sauce. What more could you ask for? Definitely need to remember that Bissell Brothers is here and stop "forgetting" about it!

They also had a great variety of beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, so there really is something for everyone. The space was warmed by, a variety of plants throughout the space. The ferns are huge and amazing. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating accessible by large garage doors. If you were unaware Austin Street found their start with their original location in Industrial Way Portland area alongside lots of breweries in the area. I believe my first visit and taste of their beers was around 9 or 8 years ago. Once this location opened up it became the go-to for visiting Austin Street as it's updated and honestly nicer. I enjoyed their first location but let's be real this space is more unique and larger! Been to this spot many a times including earlier today. They still have an industrial feel to the place but have so many plants all around to brighten the spot up. Inside while beautiful I must say the true highlight is during warm weather with their large garage doors open. It also adds tons of additional seating to enjoy the weather too! Staff is always so friendly and ready to pour your drink with a smile. Beer wise they have a large variety including IPAs, pale ales, lagers, and sours. Including a special release each year made for International Women's.For non-beer drinkers don't fret, you can find wine, ciders, seltzers, cocktails, and plenty of non-alcoholic options. They also offer some snacks and frequently have food trucks/carts serving as well. With a lot of events scheduled too, including today that was a Summer Puppy Pool Party so as you can tell they are dog friendly. One of the many amazing breweries in this area of Portland. Well made beers with enough options for everyone to enjoy a drink even non beer fans. A place that supports many good charities/causes and hosts lots of events.

As you likely remember we were still dealing with the dreaded pandemic back then. Belleflower has preserved through that and blown every expectation out the water. You could easily make an argument Belleflower is one of the best if not the best brewery in Portland and Maine in general. They nail the IPAs and all variations of them but also can do every other style very well too! In particular for this celebration of their 5th anniversary they released a fruited sour aged in barrels for around 5 years and a double dry-hopped DIPA and both are incredible well made beers! They almost always have a food truck option nearby including a fan favorite of mine, Ironclad Eats! Today they had Smokin Dads BBQ. If you are a beer lover living in or visiting the area you must visit Belleflower! You will have friendly staff welcoming you and will taste some world-class beers!
