    Live music many days

Very welcoming. Staff are really nice as you enter and throughout. Great location as there are neighboring brewers and bite of Maine for food right next door. Gluten free! Did you hear? Gluten free for all! The options are great from an award winning 2024 Pilsner to hot chocolate Mexican lager. I lined all 4 in my flight! The sours were really good too. Small unusual snacks available. Music was a really nice surprise. Chill music jazz and old blues. Music otherwise is also quite pleasant when no live music is present. Plenty of comfy seating with real candles. I like real candles. Nice touch. Hey it's about the beer so get the award winning pils and I like the helles and the galaxy sour.

I've been wanting to come to this brewery for so long and it finally happened. We came here on a Friday evening and there is plenty of seating available inside and outside. Both my husband and I got a flight and my husband was extremely impressed with how close the gluten free tasted to the regular ones. The service was pleasant and quick. They had a food menu for the next door establishment. We ordered a flight of gf lobster rolls and we picked them up when it was ready. Overall it was such a Lovely and chill experience. I'm looking forward to visiting them again when I'm in the area and I'm really hoping they open up a new location in the NY/NJ area.

I can finally enjoy a delicious beer! I have been wanting to check out this GF brewery and I'm so happy I finally did! I had a flight of four beers, I particularly liked the IPA. As for food, it is gf as well. I enjoyed the lobster roll flight which comes with the choice of three. I had ME, CT and the picnic. Those in our party also enjoyed the hot dogs and hamburgers. I can't wait to come back!

I'm not actually a beer fan, but this was a great spot! One of my friends is gluten-free, which is how we found the place. All of us enjoyed the outdoor area, especially the adirondack chairs. However, the interior looked pretty nice too. I liked how you could see where the beer was actually made. Everyone here was really friendly and helpful. If you're looking to kick back with a beer flight, this is a great option!

Super fun brewery where the beers are gluten free! Such a wonderful community area & patio with fire pits. The beer was delicious & we even got a little tour of the brewing area. Definitely worth the stop!

Stumbled upon this place when visiting Portland and when I say this is a GF paradise, I mean it. All their beer was GF and their entire establishment was celiac safe. I haven't had such a wide selection of beer to chose from in years! Really loved the sour ale, and had a GF lobster roll flight from the partnering restaurant. They also have a wonderful outdoor patio which was lovely in the Fall. 10/10 I'm already planning my next trip to Portland just so I can go back here.

We've been to the Holidaily GF brewery, in Golden CO and this brewery is just as good. Plus there is a restaurant that makes GF food Excellent GF beer, and excellent GF food.

We made it for the ribbon cutting grand opening. Cute place, nice and packed with the grand opening, but was able to get tot the bar and try out every brew they had. The two I liked are the lager and the Helles. The others were ok. I'm not an IPA drinker so I don't want to sway judgement. Great spot and happy to see more dedicated GF spots opening up in Maine. Try it out and leave a comment, I am excited to hear from other folks experiences.

Amazing gluten free brewery! I couldn't believe the amazing food and beer was all gluten free. Such friendly staff, great live band and DELICIOUS beer and food. The bread on the pulled pork sandwich was so fluffy and well done! Can't wait to go back and recommend to others.

Great for the GF beer lovers out there! Outdoor seating, fire pits when it's cold, we went on a day they had live music, attached to a GF restaurant Bite Into Maine.

I love the beers at Orange Bike! I literally can't believe they are all gluten free. Some taste better than normal wheat beers imo. I would recommend the Black is Beautiful IPA - it's DELICIOUS and I typically don't like IPAs at all. orange bike even donates a dollar to the Black Brewers Association per glass! The Helles is also fantastic. Great spot for dates, groups large and small, as well as a casual outing with the family. The space is gorgeous and I love that you can see where the brewing action is happening. You can tell the team at OBB really cares about their work and is super helpful and friendly. And I really appreciate their focus on the triple bottom line as a business. I would 1000% recommend giving this place a visit. Can't wait to come back.

First off, thank you for providing a safe place for celiac beer lovers to go and hang out with friends. It's cute, the graphic design is on point, and the outside seating area has games and plenty of seating. Service was wonderful and I felt very welcome. Now let's get to the good stuff... BEER! I got a flight because, duh. All the beers I had were awesome. The IPA, Summer, Pilsner and my gosh I can't remember the 4th.. but they were all legit and delicious. Also they partner with Bite Into Maine which is right around the corner. Just use the QR code on the menu at the bar.

In the brewery-dense location of Portland, Orange Bike Brewing is offering something unique to patrons: gluten-free beer. Although not something I typically look for, I appreciate the addition to the saturated beer scene. Orange Bike's venue is gorgeous with modern fixtures and clean lines. The establishment is equipped with a fitting bar and other table seating throughout the venue. Upon walking in, it is clear that the brewery is going for a chill, relaxed vibe. As my partner and I walked in, Maggie Rogers radio was playing, and there was just a chill vibe in comparison to the busy spots located near Orange Bike...something that I also appreciated. My partner opted to sit at the bar where we were greeted by the two bartenders. Both throughout our experience were very attentive. The offerings at Orange Bike ranged with lagers, stouts, pilsners, and an IPA. I also appreciate that they offer tasting, half, and full size pours. I opted for two half size pours of the IPA and their pilsner. The pilsner had a sweetness to it, and probably something I would not order again, but the IPA was flavorful and not harsh. I will definitely come back to Orange Bike to continue trying their offerings. If you are looking for a more laid back brewery in the Portland beer scene, Orange Bike might be right up your alley!

Had no idea all three were located here, pleasant surprise. I enjoy Allagash white so we decided to stop in. The campus is a good size with gigantic tanks no doubt filled with liquid gold! Outdoor seating area with fire pits for warmer weather enjoyment. Entrance had a woodsy feel to it with signage that was clear to read. In the courtyard you choose which way to go; right heads into the outside beer garden and left brings you inside the brewery and gift shop. Beer garden for us. Seeing that it was covered by a tent thought for sure it was going to be cold inside , we were pleasantly surprised! Decor was paper chains and tissue paper hearts for Valentine's season. They had a creative station for folks to make their own Valentines. Also in the same area was a game bookshelf filled with board and card games to play. At the bar was a young man smiling as he welcomed us. We read the menu and for something different I chose "Cabin Weekend" the name reminded me of our camp in the Western mountains. We both enjoy whiskey so thought the aged barrels used for this brew would make a tasty treat. Grabbed our beers and then over to the food truck attached to the tent, clever. Bite into Maine is the food truck here today, unsure if different trucks come here or not. We wanted something small and shareable. Mac and cheese it was. We sat down at one of the many empty tables and began to enjoy our beers and food. Cabin weekend was so delicious! It was a strong onto 8.9%! Tasty with the faintest hint of whiskey and a cabin feel for the finish. The Mac and cheese was dense and rich!! The fork could practically stand upon its own! It was good in my opinion however don't think I could have finished the portion in my own. We enjoyed so much we will be back for some to bring away with us to our cabin in the woods.

Several more visits since my last review…read more Some things haven't changed: -- The beers are still great. Swish, Here's to Feeling Good All the Time, Nothing Gold, and Reciprocal are a formidable foursome. At any given time, you can usually get at least two, more often three, sometimes all four. -- You'd be hard pressed (pun intended) to find a better smashburger in Portland, but I'd also put it up against any regularly-offered burger I've had in Portland--smashed or otherwise. I love everything about it, from the high caliber of the beef to the fresh pillowy milk bun to the exhilaratingly strong cure of the bacon to the razor-thin cutting of the vegetables to the execution that gets even a smashburger burger juicy. -- I'm still not crazy about the wings. They have a frozen dinner feel to them. A few things, though, have changed: -- Full service now instead of having to order everything at the bar. That's a plus. -- The place is much more crowded-- including screaming tykes-- on the weekends. Not a plus, but can't fault a place for its own popularity. -- The fries are now the industrial strength coated kind. A big minus and a sad drop off from prior greatness, but better that than from an item off the main cast. -- You can now order beer cans to go from the table rather than having to get in line. A nice convenience. A few things to know: -- It's a surprisingly good option for vegetarians and pescatarians. The veggie burger and the grilled fish sandwich are both much more than solid. -- There's outdoor seating in front of the building and also to the right. -- The bar room to the right of the entrance is adults only, so if those screaming tykes get on your nerves, this is the place to be. -- You can still order beer at the bar if that's your preference over table service. Still a favorite, and the combo of beer, food, and space is tough to beat (Mast Landing and Maine Beer in Freeport are also somewhere in that echelon).

As an IPA fan I enjoyed this new version very much for its hop saturated citrusy forward taste that drank quite smooth for the 9.5%. At this point now Bissell is broken into two separate parts. The first will be the space welcoming to families and is more of their restaurant style area. Appeared to be a popular area and does offer reservations. My preferred area is the Bissell Garden as they call it. Those entering need to be of drinking age and have more lounge vibes where you order at the bar. It still offers full kitchen menu so is perfect. Particularly my favorite is snagging bar stools to grab some beers and food. I had to try out the Super Swish while my wife grabbed their red ale named Turnpike. Then food wise we split their kitchen special Classic Poutine. Some of the best classic kept simple poutine I have had. The perfect comfort food for yet another cold weather day in Maine. Have been impressed by all the food from Bissell. Truly the only negative still stands being the fact it's on Thompson's Point and required paid parking (not Bissell Brothers call but still). One of the most popular Maine breweries for a reason especially in the IPA game. Give all their other style of beers a try too though, top notch brewery!
