I almost don't want to review this place out of fear that it will become too popular. Burger Box is one of those nice hole-in-the wall burger joints that is surprisingly good. I've tried just about everything on their menu and its all delicious. This place kind of reminds me of Lucky Wishbone only better. Their prices are reasonable compared to other fast food establishments and the service is great. The servers are very nice and make you feel right at home. Remember customer service? Great service every single time ! The food is absolutely amazing and at a can't-beat price. Been coming here after work every now and again for a year now and it never fails or disappoints. The inside of the location is clean and tidy and gives and authentic feel to the place. If you go here I highly recommend sit in dining as the experience will be better in my opinion. I'm gonna say it, and I'm gonna stand by it: Burger Box has the best burgers in DFW. Don't believe me? Go try it yourself. I've tried all the places and I've made it my mission to find the best burgers in DFW since I moved here. Burger Box consistently delivers an excellent product, every single time I visit. The buns are just perfectly toasted and have that crunch around the edges. The patties are perfectly charred, but not dry. Or greasy; there's the perfect balance of a juicy burger grilled on a griddle, and the juuust-right level of char and crisp around the edges of the patty. This place hits a home run every time I go. My only gripe is the crinkle fries. I'm not a fan of crinkle fries, but I still eat them because it's part of the experience. Nothing ketchup and mustard can't fix. I recommend the double cheeseburger, with mustard, onions, tomato and lettuce. Simple, but highly effective and ridiculously good. This place looks old because they eventually realized that you don't have to update what's proven, and in their case: it's their burgers. I couldn't personally care less about how outdated the place looks, and it actually (to me) is part of the charm, if you will. Their food is delicious. Stop reading this and just go. I like how the buns are toasted to be crispy, but I think it needs maybe some more vegetables. I like the fries here. Crinkle cut, like Church's. There isn't too much salt or anything, they are pretty good. This place also gives pretty big cups, so you can drink a lot of soda if you want. My son Edgar had a shake. Just classic vanilla. We both liked it because the burger place used Blue Bell Ice Cream. The people who work here are pretty nice and took the time to make sure my food was good. I passed this place on my way to El Tejas with my family last night and figured I'd come back and try it today. WOW!!! I consider myself a burger connoisseur and this place is downright awesome. It was converted from an old Dairy Queen (you can tell by the floor plan when you walk in) but their burgers blow DQ out of the water big time. I would put them on a tier above Burger Street for those of you familiar with that chain. There's something special about this place. I watched the lady at the counter as she wrote down the order and she seemed to have got it down correctly, however!!!
