First time coming in this morning. The staff is so friendly and kind. Service is great and quick! Absolutely loved this place. Food was also very good. Highly recommend trying this place out 10/10! Thanks for the great service and food! Will definitely be back soon.

Placed a Togo order due to covid 19 They gave my order to the wrong person, didn't tell me for 15 minutes. Didn't start to remake it when they realized until I asked if my order was ready. I asked for a refund they couldn't find my receipt refused to refund my money!!! So They then said the would remake it... Not practicing social distancing they were over capacity. Very very ridiculous experience, I dont understand why the servers aren't taking payment at the tables to prevent the lobby from over crowding. All around uncomfortable about the lack of social distancing . Update the food was not edible my omelette eggs were raw hashbrowns severely undercooked. This place has gone down hill!!

Went here with family for brunch. The wait was about 20 minutes for 8 of us. The food was great and it was not too expensive. The cinnamon but pancake was awesome! The eggs Benedict was good but I don't think that I will get it again. I will go back soon!

Had the best time trying Sunny Street Cafe! It's down the street from our church and thought why not give it a try! We were welcomed with a bright smile and hello from the hostess, our waitress was so kind and offered great suggestions! The food was hot and delicious as it reached our table. I got the crunchy French toast which is rolled in oats, and my husband got a dish that had a biscuit, fried chicken, eggs, homemade pimento cheese, gravy, and probably more I'm forgetting! Good prices, great food, fantastic service. Can't wait to return and bring some friends!

Can't think of the name of this but it's on a separate short menu. Incredible.

I love this place. Out of all the breakfast spots to introduce to my out of town friends from Georgia, this is the place I will be bringing them to. The waitresses have great energy and the prices are affordable which is important in today's climate.

This was pretty good but chicken too thin imo. I enjoyed this.

The cafe is just off of Western Center/Mid Cities Blvd and in the plaza that features Anytime Fitness and Fogatas Cafe. Sunny Street is strictly a breakfast and lunch cafe that has booths, tables and a bar area in front of the kitchen. Although I am a self-proclaimed pancake junkie that usually orders a large or small stack in venues like this, I selected a meat lovers omelette with whole wheat toast and a side of fruit (bananas, strawberries, and pineapples) along with a mug of hot coffee. For a brunch with your spouse, the price is very affordable: $21 before tip for two very good meals. If I had one complaint, it was that the omelette (though listed as a three-egg omelette) seemed a tad on the skinny side, in that the fixings seemed to bulge out on the side of the omelette upon lightly putting your fork into it. It could just be a little thicker next time. I was very hungry at the time, so I didn't complain as I wolfed it down. It was just a noticeable occurrence. Good customer service. Our server was very attentive to us and offered refills of coffee and water. The place was slow for a Thursday late morning yet having eaten here a few months prior, I know that it gets packed to capacity on a Saturday morning or other mornings upon opening at 6:30. All and all, a pretty good breakfast cafe that I certainly recommend trying.

I have been to this several times. I love the fact that they serve breakfast, my favorite meal, all day. I think they are only open for breakfast and lunch, and not dinner. My ratings: Food: 3 out of 5 Food is pretty good, but nothing spectacular. I have had some of their salads for lunch, various Omelettes, Eggs Benedicts and Breakfast Combos. They taste pretty good. Serving size is pretty decent, but nothing to write home about. Service: 4 out of 5 Your usually promptly seated. The servers are friendly and are willing to help accommodate your changes/needs. Atmosphere: 3.5 out of 5 If you're looking for a quiet breakfast or lunch, this is the place. I've seen a lot of elderly people and families over here. It has never been too crowded and too noisy. Price: 4.5 out of 5 Reasonably priced food with big portions. Overall, a solid 3.5 - 4.0.

I got the Gravy Train, which came with buttermilk biscuits smothered in country sausage gravy like smotheredddd! It was served with hash browns and two sunny-side-up eggs. It was such a comforting, hearty meal and definitely filled me up. Then I tried the chicken fried steak with eggs, which was another big and satisfying dish. It also came with same sausage gravy, hash browns, and eggs (I went with sunny side up again). AST but not the least, I tried the farmhouse biscuit sandwich, which came on their soft and really good buttermilk biscuits, with scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, cheese, a generous side of hash browns, and a cilantro jalapeño sauce that was especially delicious. It does get pretty busy, especially on weekends, so there might be a bit of a wait but in my opinion, it's worth it. Oh and the coffee was okay...not amazing, but it did the job. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back to try more items from their menu.

I'm not sure if they just changed suppliers or not but things have gotten smaller / worse quality while the price has gone up for what arguably is standard breakfast fare. Case in point: the Chicken or Egg Sandwich. Used to be my go to, but after having it recently again after not coming for quite some time it was a disappointment. The chicken cutlet used was thin compared to the thick fried version it had before, everything was a bit beige, and a rather small serving of hash browns accompanied it. I had a standard black coffee alongside it which tasted a bit watered down and my partner has commented that the speciality coffees are not as good as they used to be. Other new additions to the menu aren't exactly what you would expect, for example the Monte Cristo is more a deconstructed version of the Bennigan's classic but it's not obvious unless your waiter tells you. The price is typical of downtown but the food doesn't rise to the occasion and the value proposition for me isn't enough to come back unless something changes. Thats not to say the food is all bad, but seeing what it was prior to their menu change, it's just uninspiring for the price. The service however has remained top tier and every time I have gone I've had fantastic service regardless of if it's a Sunday morning with a hour long wait or a quiet weekday lunch.

What a great choice for breakfast. The menu was filled with choices for everyone. Will definitely have to come back to try more. I ordered the cinnamon roll french toast which was a whole roll sliced up and cooked as french toast. Have never seen that anywhere else. The only downside was a strange smell like old mop water that permeated the entrance and the seats near it. We had to ask to move seats. The table we were then moved to was crammed against the front wall crooked for some reason. Otherwise, the food was on point and delicious.

Wait Time 5/5 We came during 2026 World Cup weekend at 11:00 on a Sunday -- peak business time -- and we waited only 10 minutes for a table of four. I was genuinely shocked we were seated so soon. Drinks were quick and always full, Food was prompt and hot. I truly do not have anything negative to say! Allergies 5/5 I'm allergic to a lot of things and they handled it so seriously. They flagged my order in their system and even used allergy picks on both the gluten free pancake and my best friend's gluten free grilled cheese so our dishes were clearly marked and kept separate from our husbands' food. Dysh (our amazing server) was very knowledgeable about their allergy policies and I felt like I was in great hands! Service! 5/5 Shout out to all the amazing staff who made me feel like family.
