I have had numerous issues with this particular location, manly with staff and no longer give my buisness here. The young girl that is dark haired early 20s cares more about her phone than being pelite and punctual with customers and the vibe feels so negative. And on top of that expects a tip even through drive through. Take your money elsewhere where. read more

My family and I order from this location at least twice a week. Today being the second time this week, again my order is wrong and fries were old and cold. My order is usually missing the bacon I pay for and extra patty but I've never called them until today. I called to report my order was wrong again because I paid $25 and I am tired of it being wrong. The Asain lady didn't care and hung up while I was telling her about my order. I called back and an Asian man answered and I told him she hung up on me. I began telling him what was wrong with my order and he cut me off to say they fix what's ordered. I told him I'm too old to call and lie about food but it's happening too much with my order and he hung up while I was talking. We will never eat there again and if your order is made wrong don't waste your time calling because they obviously don't care. I'm sure they'll see this and i hope they do so, stop recooking old fries because they're stale and dark brown. Noone should be paying these prices for food that's supposed to be freshly made but majority of my orders the fries are old and dark. Went on Saturday for lunch and the drive thru had about 4 cars in line. I went inside and placed an order to go. The burgers are old fashioned, 1/4lb patties, made fresh to order. So don't be in a huge hurry. It will be worth the short wait. The burgers come with mustard, lettuce, onion & tomatoes. They take your order, write it on brown bag, give it to kitchen to make. When ready, the girl at the counter placed the bag on the counter and stated the details of the order "box burger no mustard." The guy who ordered ahead of me jumped up, she repeated the order, he said yes, grabbed it and left. I almost thought to say something but thought maybe he ordered the same thing as me. Next up on the counter was a mushroom burger that no one claimed. At that point I told the girl that maybe the guy infront of me took my burger and that was his. She quickly got my order re-made. A suggestion would be to maybe take the order and a name. That wouldn't prevent someone from not paying attention but possibly it would help. Once I got my burger it was delicious and just how I remember. Seasoned well and served on a sturdy bun with plenty of fresh veg. And as ordered with no mustard. The girl working the counter did have hickeys on her neck and didn't represent Burger Box in a professional way which they could benefit from getting back to how it was previously (different owners). I recognize help is hard to get so maybe the owners are reluctant to enforce higher standards for dress and appearance. But I was there for the food and it was good so I am satisfied. :) read more

Service was horrible. Called in an order to pick up tonight and when I asked when it would be ready she hung up on me. I called back and said you hung up on me before I could ask when to come. And she hung up on me again. I'm afraid to eat our food now and will be coming for a refund tomorrow. HORRIBLE service. read more

I guess the military discount is the incentive because there's no other reason to go to this restaurant... unless you've got the 'munchies'. Food portion is large, but it's junk food. Flavors are basic - McDonald's is just as flavorful. Feels greasy, but it does serve a large amount of foods fried in oil. Needs a remodel. Didn't have my drink drove back up there and there was a line at the drive-through so I went in told her three times I didn't get my drink. Okay fast food and my first run in with the Texan favorite Blue bell ice cream. Where can you go and grab food on Christmas eve? Right here. They were one of few places that advertised they were open & meant it. Damn you Papa John's for misleading me with your sign still burning in the on position. False advertising is not cool. It was dead at first, but soon after we got there the after church crowds started pouring in. I wasn't feeling a hamburger so I opted for a fish and chicken basket. The fries were crinkle cut and had that perfect mixture of freshly fried and soggy. MM-mm. Their tartar sauce came out of a packet, so I wasn't thrilled about that. Luckily for me I had a jar of chili jam back at the home stead from Tierra Vegetables (Windsor, Ca) the very best stuff for dipping. My bro-ham got a cheeseburger. Everything was better than we expected for food coming out of a dive. If it was this good that night, we may make a second go around New Years. Cheers to supporting local favorites. Absolute TRASH. I came to this one because the one on Cooper is perfection, thinking this would be the same. Nope!! Got the #7 with cheese & sweet tea. Tea looked like coffee and extremely bitter. Fries are burnt yet hard on the inside no salt anywhere (just in case they're reading the comments... that means oil is too hot..) Burger is dry and flavorless... Lesson learned. I ordered a mushroom swiss burger only catsup, mayo, onion, tomato. When I unwrapped at home, it had shredded lettuce and none of my requests. I live close to Mansfield, so I'm not going to drive all the way back for them to fix. I called, he admitted that my order was wrong, said he'd give me full refund if I brought the burger back or 1/2 if I didn't. I usually shy away from leaving reviews of different locations of corporate or franchised stuff but in the case of this Burger Box, I'm making an exception. This is old school Burger Box here baby. Most of em still tend to be, but the one that remodeled and is trying to remake itself into something it shouldn't be, (and you know who you are) begs me to explain. I end up at this location from time to time. Last several years, always the same guy cooking, usually don't see a high turnover of counter girls that often either. Burgers are always the same, always consistent, and always good. Nothing super high end, just good burgers. I've shifted some from cheeseburger to bacon cheeseburger, but both are good. The bacon is obviously just cooked, instead of like some places where it appears to be precooked and sitting under a lamp drying out somewhere. They have Blue Bell ice cream and shakes (if you're into that kinda thing) and prices are very good. Frozen crinkle cut fries are...good. Places that have fresh cut have ruined frozen fries praise for me nowadays, but no complaints. Older inside, but if they update it, I'm gonna have a stroke! Big booths are nice and comfy, DON'T RUIN IT! My ONLY complaint here is that if you ask for extra pickles, you're gonna get EXTRA pickles. Not a few, a lot really. So many I have to drag a bunch of em off and eat em by themselves. Still, fine with me. This is an "old-school" burger place. The staff was super friendly and the place was a little run down but clean. Everything was cooked to order, not par-cooked and finished. When I got my steak finger basket home, the serving was a nice size and "ripping" hot, even after the drive home. It was great and I'm eager to go back for a burger. I'll be back. read more

I was pleasantly surprised when the food was ready and delivered to my table. I grew up on Burger Box so I went back to it recently not expecting much, just an average burger. What I found was a great burger, pretty good frozen fries, amazing cherry limeades and awesome milk shakes. Burgers - great, fish- it's real and good, steak fingers & you gotta love the fries..I actually asked if i could have 1 onion ring to see if I wld like them and they actually fried me 1 so I could taste it...guess what it was good. Their bacon and cheese burger is a real delight. Its not too greasy yet somewhat so. The patty is juicy unlike the ones at Mcdonald's or some of the other fast food joints. I also like their Philly cheese steak sandwich. read more
