Tried Al's for the first time tonight and loved it ! The Mac and cheese was so flavorful, the fry seasoning was yummy, and we really enjoyed the chicken &sauces! We will definitely be back!

In search for tenders Mac n cheese bowl & decided to try this place out. Since they're fairly new, they are understaffed. I would suggest placing an order online before visiting the establishment. They completed our order in 30 mins, had to remake the loaded bowl bc we asked for no sauce & that was another 30 mins. Aside from that, staff were nice & very apologetic. I had the x hot tender & it wasn't hot at allllll for me (I have a high tolerance for spice though) the seasoning had some sweetness which I did enjoy. They were a good size, moist & had a nice crunch. the Mac n cheese is very saucey, cheesy & creamy it was delicious! the fries, my favorite, were crunchy & well seasoned.

Nice elevator music playing as you walk in. Instantly greeted by the host/cook of the restaurant. Got our food within 10 mins of ordering. I got the waffle sandwich combo which is the first time I've had a chicken/waffle combo I had it at a medium spice wow I've been missing out it's amazing. My friend had the sandwich/tender combo her sandwich was and the tender was at spice level as well as the loaded fries! What isn't pictured is Al's Mac n cheese. That was also really great tasting. If you're looking to try different hot chicken spots this is a good one. Fast service and great food!

    Watery tasteless Mac and cheese

We waited 54 min for nasty, dry and tasteless food. It was such a disappointment since we had been waiting for this place to open. The service is terrible. The cashier grabbed my card with sauce all over his glove which then got all over my card. The place is very dirty and disgusting in the back that it's no wonder they build the Great Wall of Al's to block customers view of how they are preparing our food. I ended up letting our dinner for that night finish thawing out and made dinner when we got home since our $70 worth of food was so inedible. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

They are still on the DL, so please continue to spread the word and support this lovely small business! EVERYTHING WAS MADE AND DONE WITH SUCH LOVE!! Mary Sue taught these workers well. Order was piping hot. They definitely cook as they go and don't let the food sit under a heat lamp. Tbh, the food was on the spicier side, so if you have a superrrr low spice tolerance like me, try to get extra ranch instead of Mary's signature sauce to balance it out. Chicken and pickle on a stick was a fun and new twist to try! I don't like pickles but my friend said it was good and would buy again. She said the pickles tasted like they make them in house (fresh!!). Not a bad price either ($4.99 I think.. might've been $6.99). Dough boys were yummy! A good glazed donut without the taste of fried oil. If I was craving sugary bread, this is the best dessert to soothe it. The regular roll that comes in the box is truly yummy as well. I got the peach sweet tea and boy it was indeed a true Texas sweet tea. SWEEET!! Delicious. The turn into the restaurant is quite a sharp turn and easy to miss, so slow down so you don't pass it.

From the outside, I expected it to be a smaller spot, but it was actually much bigger than I thought. Everything inside was clean, and even though there were a few people ahead of us in line, the process was simple--you order first, then grab your food and find a table. The cashier who helped us was super nice, which made the experience even better. We both ordered lemonade teas--one peach and one watermelon--and they were honestly a 10/10. Not too sweet, more on the tangy side, which I loved. It wasn't overly crowded--maybe around 10-12 people inside, with a couple more eating outside--so it felt comfortable. We ordered the chicken with the sweet spicy flavor, along with fries, mac and cheese, pickle sticks, and rolls. Everything came out fresh and tasted really good. There was about a 10-15 minute wait, but that's expected for fresh food and totally worth it. The presentation was great, and overall the food hit. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the dough babies, they were a little too thick for me, just a bit too much bread, although the flavor itself was still good. Overall, I'd give it an 8/10. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

Typically, I rate based on several visits to get an overall picture of the place, but I will bypass the rule if the experience was exceptional (#1). Mike's was downright excellent. I ate the food warm and I ate it cold, and I'm still thinking about it. I tried to save some time by ordering online and also bypass any potential lines. Thankfully, there were none when I arrived, but a very full house of happy eaters despite being well past primetime lunch hours. The staff was friendly in the front but fielding many orders at the same time. I missed the literal pick up window outside, but was happy to get a gander of what it looks like inside. There's plenty of seating for groups and the place seemed a lot cleaner than the divey narratives folks emphasized. Prices were not astronomical, as I paid $14 and $13 for an order of 4 tenders + 2 sides, as well as 2 wings and 2 sides. The tenders were nothing like a Raising Cane's with skimpy portions and high price tags, instead it was plump, crispy, and perfectly fried. The accompanying sauces (Mike's sauce + buffalo sauce) were excellent additions and complimented the crispy fries. I was extremely impressed with the mac & cheese and very flavorful, mashed potatoes and gravy. The wings were no different: soft exterior with a nice crunch, meaty chunks off the bone, and wasn't too greasy. While the green beans weren't the most memorable side, the creamy corn was strangely addicting. Next time, I'm ordering the sides separately and in a large. I can only hope the other locations are just as good and will make good effort to visit them all. It's a rare occasion to be this infatuated with a place, but I'm confident it will be the first on my return list when I'm back in Dallas again. ___________ (#1) Or exceptionally bad.

Bro, plumbing is confusing). Naturally, I had to ask AI where to get the absolute best fried chicken in Dallas, and it sent me here. Ordering online was super easy, though I wished the menu had pictures because I like to see what I'm getting. Exactly 20 minutes later, I got the text that it was ready. The parking lot is tiny. If you drive a big truck, be prepared to maneuver like a pro if it's packed. Inside was busy, but there was zero heavy grease smell lingering in the air. You could easily grab lunch here and go about your day without smelling like a literal fryer. Plus, the crowd was surprisingly chill. Nobody gave off that chaotic, sketch energy you get at a KFC or Wingstop where you feel like you have to lock your truck doors three times just to walk inside safely. It's a really calm environment, which is awesome if you hate loud crowds. Pickup took less than 5 minutes. After a 15-minute drive home, the chicken was still loud-crunchy and insanely crispy. Puts fast-food chains to absolute shame. Fair warning: my first drumstick was a massive sodium bomb that almost made me rage quit and leave a two star review. But I was so hungry, so a quick drink later, piece number two and on were absolute perfection: juicy, meaty, and flawlessly seasoned. So that first piece of chicken just was coated in not-fully-mixed-well seasoning batter or something like that. I am officially obsessed. Come September when bulking season hits, I'm literally going to live here.

We walked into a clean, casual space with a quick-service atmosphere that makes it easy to stop in for a straightforward meal. The menu is intentionally limited compared to many modern burger spots, but that simplicity is part of the appeal, and the layout of the restaurant reflects that focus on efficiency and consistency. The main highlight is the burger. The patties are cooked fresh, the ingredients taste noticeably simple and balanced, and the overall flavor comes from the combination rather than complicated toppings. We ordered the Double-Double, the signature order, and found it gave a good balance of beef, cheese, and classic toppings that came together cleanly. The Animal Style option adds grilled onions, extra spread, and mustard-cooked patties, which gives the burger a richer flavor profile and is worth trying if you want the more famous version. The patties have a good sear, and the produce is fresh and crisp, providing a clean contrast to the richness of the meat and cheese. The fries are usually the most debated part of the experience. They are made from fresh-cut potatoes, which gives them a different texture than typical fast food fries. Ordering them Animal Style with cheese, grilled onions, and sauce is a popular way to make them more flavorful, since the regular fries can feel a little plain depending on preference. We tried them both ways and found the Animal Style version adds the richness needed to elevate the fries into something more substantial. The shakes are also a solid addition, especially as a simple pairing with the burger and fries, offering a classic, creamy finish to the meal. Service is generally efficient, even when the lines look long. The staff works quickly to keep orders moving, and the made-to-order style means there can sometimes be a short wait compared to other fast food chains. The team handles the steady flow with a practiced rhythm, and the open kitchen adds a layer of transparency that fits the brand's straightforward approach. The locations can get extremely busy, especially in areas where In-N-Out is newer, so peak hours may require some patience, but the turnover is fast enough that the wait does not feel excessive. In-N-Out delivers exactly what it promises: a simple, fresh, and affordable burger experience. It may not have the biggest menu or the most creative options, but the consistency, value, and classic style are what make it stand out. It is a place that works best when you are looking for a reliable burger rather than a complicated one, and the quality of the ingredients and the efficiency of the service ensure that the experience remains dependable across visits.
