So I've been anticipating the opening of Burger Haven, well the time is now. The business has a fresh new look on the outside (for those of us who remember the previous). The inside is big and spacious with tables and chairs (no booths). The menu is limited to 8 styles of burgers which is nice, you're not reading the menu all day. They have 8 appetizers to choose from. They have 11 different shakes and 5 different smoothies to choose from. Burger Haven also offers coca-cola products. Today I had the mushroom burger with fries and an order of cheese sticks. The cheese are average cheese sticks nothing really stuck out. The fries were crispy and seasoned. The burger was really good, messy, but good. They come out wrapped in their paper with a good presentation of half the burger. Again it's a messy burger but it was good, not something to eat while driving if you're that kind of person. Burger Haven has only been open a few days so not many people were here which made the service very fast. They do have a drive through so that is an option. The employees were friendly. All in all I would definitely come back here again. Maybe next time I'll try a shake! read more

Got to try this for take out for me and the hubby. We placed the order online and my husband was the one that went to go pick it up. It's still fairly new and he did mention that it wasn't the cleanest - only because they were still moving in. I'd like to think that it has def better by now. The burger and fried chicken sandwich was still hot when he got home. The seasoning on the burger was REALLY good and unique. Fries were okay and the fried chicken was just a fried chicken sandwich - is it bad to admit that I'd prefer the Popeyes chicken sandwich? I'd like to give this another shot to update my review. I would recommend to sticking to the burger options. It did seem a little bit pricey, but what isn't nowadays. I honestly wouldn't get kids meals here - unless they know how to appreciate a pricey burger haha. read more

Burger Haven 4/2 12:00 When reading my review and looking at pictures, please keep in mind that this is a brand new restaurant. It might've been open two days and this particular day they were not busy. Lettuce wrap burger - it's a healthier choice. Taste ok. No complaints. Special sauce - taste like Big Mac sauce, taste good Up sell to cheese sticks - good. Marinera sauce was good. Taste like Sonic's Soda - flat For a restaurant to be called Burger Haven I would have expected more burger choices I do like the option of a turkey burger and the lettuce wrap. No napkins on tables. As far as their appearance of the store, I really feel like they rushed to open. It was dirty everywhere from the windows to the floor to the bottom of the wall to under the soda machine.. that's disappointing. I would revisit, although I'm not rushing. I rated it two stars if the store was clean, it would've got three because it really is just average. read more

Just stopped by to check out a new place. I got the Classic burger and fries. The fries i didn't care for but the burger was real good. I​

While a bit pricey. I wanted to try this new place and I must say I guess it's worth it. I got the kids cheeseburger meal. You have to pay extra for cheese. :( I also ordered onion rings and added lettuce to my burger. Paid for the lettuce too. The burger was very fresh tasting and seasoned well and the onion rings were delicious. Nothing special about the sauce, tasted like thousand island dressing to be honest so that was disappointing. The restaurant was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. I'm coming back for those onion rings, I'll make my own sauce and try one of their smoothies. read more

Just opened this past week. Going to say that they are working out the kinks. I hope. Ordered 2 burgers, 1 order of onion rings, 1order of fries and a butterfinger milkshake. Through the drive-thru. They took so long; people behind me started blowing their horns. I felt really bad for them because this wasn't even a complicated order. Milkshake was really good. Comes with a wide lumen straw. Makes it easier to drink, especially with the chunks of candy bars inside. read more

I finally checked out Burger Haven on Brook Rd and it definitely lived up to the hype. The burgers are made fresh to order with quality beef and you can really taste the difference. I got the bacon burger and it was perfectly cooked--juicy, flavorful, and had that nice crispy edge from the grill. The fries were hot and crispy, and the portions were solid for the price. Everything came out fast and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The place itself was clean and had a chill vibe, perfect for a quick bite or even just hanging out. You can tell they care about the ingredients and overall experience. Definitely one of the better burger spots in the area. I'll be back for sure to try more off the menu. Highly recommend if you're on Brook Rd and craving a legit burger read more

My wife and I have been in his place probably about 10 times since they opened and every time we go there it's amazing they don't disappoint. The burgers are incredible onion rings are amazing. They're so thick and crispy and the french fries are delicious and the milkshakes they are really good. You should check it out. read more

I'm a burger connoisseur and was excited to try this new place! I got a cheeseburger with grilled onions and zucchini sticks. It was pretty good but lacking a bit for me. The burger wasn't seasoned enough for me, sauce was a little watery and patty size was ok. The zucchini sticks amount was small, but flavor of the breading was seasoned so well and came out piping hot. It's fine for a burger craving but wasn't my top pick for indulgent calories. There's plenty more on the menu to try though. I did drive thru and time was quick so I don't believe it's grilled to order. read more

Being a smashed burger it's better to get the extra patty. The burger was delicious. It had great flavor. I got onion rings on the side. They were also good. Meh..I was excited to try this place as it was described as similar to In & Out Burger. Hubs had the Bacon Burger with onion rings and I tried the Western Burger. Both burgers were pretty dry - I wish I had asked for extra sauce, mayo, or anything to add moisture. Overall, they were ok but not great. The restaurant looked a bit dirty - tables not wiped, drink station was messy. Staff looked unhappy to be there. Willing to give it another try, but in no way does it rival In & Out or even Five Guys. read more

If you're looking for a solid burger spot in Richmond, this place is definitely worth checking out. The burgers are made fresh to order and you can really taste the difference the beef is juicy, flavorful, and not frozen, which gives it that real homemade feel.
