Terrible food. I literally hadn't been to this Burger King for about a year due to very poor food quality and terrible order accuracy. Tonight I decided to try this store again. And to my expectation, they messed up my order. I ordered a fish sandwich and it is harder than cardboard and dry. This is very old. When I bite into the sandwich, it crunches like a potato chip. Where it isn't crunchy it's so chewy I can barely chew it. It literally feels like I'm chewing on the sole of a shoe. When are you guys going to do something about this store? I'm an essential employee and was on lunch *15* minutes and I sat in the drive through for 5 minutes at 6:03, then called and got no response. Then went to the door of the lobby, which was locked, but online was suppose to be open at 6:00am as well as the drive through finally, I called the store and the manager told me "we will open once we finish everything". You shouldn't be telling customers whom may be on a time crunch that you are open at 6:00 advertising wise, and then at the store that you will open when it's convenient for "you". Went thru drive thru 3 times to get my simple order correct. 2 whoppers, 1 with no onions or tomatoes with extra pickles. 1st order both had nothing but meat and lettuce. 2nd time 2nd regular Whopper had no tomatoes or pickles. Ok. I've said this before about fast food and I'll need to say it again. Not that I'm trying to be a jerk, but from a former restaurant manager perspective. Went here today with my wife. I asked the manager when the last time the oil in the fryers was changed out and she asked why I was asking that.. I told her because my wife is pregnant and sensitive to things right now. So the manager told me yeah we changed it this morning. So we ordered a #8 chicken sandwich fresh off the fryer. I had the order in hand in less the 2 mins. Now I know it takes longer then 2 mins to cook a fresh patty and you could tell that they just reheated it and slapped it on a bun. I went to get my haircut at the facility right next door to this burger king. Good thing my wait time for my haircut was 40 minutes because that seems like the length of time I waited in the drive thru. It almost seems like it was busy at this burger king when I pulled in due to the fact that there was five cars in the drive thru. However it wasn't that it was busy it was it took 16 minutes to get from my food after ordering it. it was not one of those things where you pull forward and wait either. I went in and placed an order to go. I got home only to find that my order was completely wrong. I spent my time driving all the way back to the store and some black guy (yes, some black guy as I did not get his name) comes to the counter and rudely says "What I can do for you"? I explained to him that when I got home I found that my order was made 100% wrong and I would like my order remade and I would like a refund as well. That's when it all began. Right away he raised his voice telling me that I can have one or the other and it's his restaurant, etc. and that he can do whatever he wants. I told him that I am the customer and that I want my order remade and my money back for the inconvenience. He starting yelling at me telling me to get out and to never come back again and that he was going to call the cops. I asked for his district managers info and he refused to give it to me. So please do yourself a favor and do not spend your hard earned money here. They employ rude managers with attitudes and employees who clearly can not read ENGLISH and follow directions. So I have to say that I have been here several times in the last month and they are getting new employees all the time..In the past it has been just awful not clean food was not good customer service was non existent but here lately it has been a good experience the staff is friendly and seems to be genuinely concerned if there are any issues kudos guys...Now I have gone in 3 times and have received extremely bad CS from 1 staff member and she is a MGR..if I knew a way to get ahold of a DM I would let them know that she needs to be disbursed from this store she will take it down again!! I love Burger King bacon croissants. You have to do something about the one in San Tan Valley. There were only 2 customers in the store and I was the only one in the drive through yet they screwed up my order. It took a half hour to drive there and back. I couldn't return it. The package was marked bacon, but it was sausage. When I called, the mgr said they do make mistakes. I wouldn't find that an acceptable answer. Every time I go there there is new help. One star is beyond generous. So right when I walk in the door At the combs and Gantzel location I'm warned by other customers who have been waiting 30+minutes not to order. Gave benefit of the doubt and ordered. The ENTIRE wait I witnessed the assistant manager Tracy just SCREAMING at these poor workers. If that's the type of leadership you want running your locations this is VERY concerning. After countless of messed up orders the manager Tracy began arguing with customers and snapped a mozzarella stick in half to yell at the customer that it's the grease and a liar then demanding the customer gets there money back and no mozzarella sticks that they waited 30 minutes for. Then again she is busy screaming filling up the entire lobby with her voice at all the team members who were also working their best while maintaining the horrendous work abuse Tracy was presenting. To make it worse she's the one getting confused and lost while food is backing up on the hot tray she decided to have a complete melt down and stormed to locked herself in the office without bagging up any orders leaving everything in a standstill. KITCHEN cooks had to come up to bag all the orders, THE KITCHEN COOKS!! How unprofessional is this?! I recorded a short video to show my spouse how Unprofessional Tracy was acting in front of a lobby full of customers waiting for there food towards all the workers working tonight and to let everyone know how AWFUL the manager is. If she doesn't know how to lead a team without screaming her ass off she is not management material. Your workers in the kitchen and drive thru were amazing I felt completely horrible having to know they work in a god awful location and have to deal with that work abuse every single time they step into work. OH and also after my 30 minute wait the food still tasted like complete crap after being left on the hot case by Tracys lack of management skills but was not about to wait another 30 minutes for her to get her shit together and actually become a manager. My son and I stopped in for lunch. We had a BOGO coupon for Whoppers. Cashier was friendly and efficient. We sat down with our food and both of us were happily surprised at how good the whopper tasted. I mean come on, it's a whopper. My complaint is not with the food but with the service. I ordered a Double Whooper with Cheese and a large fries. But I was handed a bag that when I got home contained the burger but a wad of napkins instead of the large fries. I stopped going to the nearby McDonalds because they kept leaving out ordered items or substituting one burger for another of lesser value. But bungling a two item order goes beyond the pale. This may be more an indictment of the laziness and carelessness of the post-high-school workforce and the ineptitude of in-store management in this area of Arizona.
