The Arby's on East Market in Gilbert nailed it with the current Meat & 3 Box deal. My wife got the one with the Classic Roast Beef, and I went with the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. At about $7.99 each (prices may vary slightly), you get a solid main sandwich, small curly fries (or crinkle cuts), two mozzarella sticks, a peach cobbler roll, and a small drink--great value for the amount and variety. My wife got the roast beef and it was spot-on: thin-sliced, tender beef on a toasted bun with that signature tangy Arby's sauce. Simple, juicy, and consistently good--exactly what you'd want from their classic. It stayed hot and fresh even after a short drive. My chicken sandwich lived up to its reputation as one of Arby's best. The breading was crispy and well-seasoned without being greasy, the chicken juicy, and the toppings (lettuce, tomato, mayo) fresh and balanced. No soggy bun issues here. Sides were strong too. Curly fries came out hot and crispy with good seasoning. Mozzarella sticks offered a nice cheese pull without over-frying. The peach cobbler roll was a warm, flaky surprise--sweet peach filling that made a tasty, not-too-heavy dessert finish. Drink was standard but fine. Everything tasted fresh, nothing was cold or under-seasoned, and the box packaging kept it all neat for takeout. Service was quick and friendly, and the location looked clean. For the price, this limited-time offer is one of the better fast-food deals around--filling, varied, and satisfying. This was our first time at this Arby's location & it was good. We ordered inside so that we could utilize the inside dining area. The restaurant was pleasantly busy for lunchtime on a Monday. Several tables were occupied with customers & the area was clean. The soda/condiment area were clean as well. Even the restrooms were clean. Our food was ready pretty quickly, it was hot & tasty as you expect from Arby's. The down side was the young lady working the counter kinda had an attitude with one of the people we were with. Our friend was at the counter ordering & felt that the employee's attitude was b_\_\y. Great food booty service! Got two double beef and Cheddars and two XL fries. They put a couple sauces in the bag so went inside the store after going through the drive tru to ask for a few more sauces and meet with attitude from the employee. The fish sandwich was surprisingly pretty good. I usually get fish sandwiches from other places. For a take out quick service sandwich, this one was a little better than most. The outside of the fish batter was still crispy and the fish was moist and flaky on the inside. At other places the fish is usually mashed and formed into a square patty. The cheese could use an upgrade. While I normally like the soft sauce-like cheese with tortilla chips, the nacho cheese sauce was a little weird. I would have preferred a slice of cheese instead of the cheese sauce due to the flavor. The roast beef sandwich was alright. It didn't have much flavor at first. Drive thru visit on 11/28/25 approximately 5pm. We do visit this location way too often, our guilty pleasure. The service has always been very good, fast, friendly! This was not the case this day. Ordered at the window. Drive up to the window, pay and then asked to pull around to the front and wait for our crinkle fries. I'm asked to do this every time but only when I order potato cakes. This time ordered crinkle fries thinking I wouldn't have to wait this long...again not the case today. My husband said he did not want to pull around and that he would wait for the fries at the window, as there was no one in line behind us. The employee whose name may have been Ezekiel, said no I need you to pull around. My husband asked why. This employee said they have a time of service and did not want to go over that. Well, that's a fake out metric because it would not have reflected the real time of service and wait. To not have fries of any kind ready is not a customer problem, so don't inconvenience customers and fake out metrics bc you don't have the fast food ready fast. I would not be writing this review if it wasn't for the conversation between this employee, and my husband turned into a full-blown argument, that the employee definite instigated. When we asked why a simple response that we want to fake out our time of service, but it's fine if you want to wait here should've been the end of the conversation. My girl came to the window opened up to give us our food and our food and Manager said the debate when we asked for the manager, she said he was the manager and we said we would reach out to your corporate office/owner of this franchise. I just talked my son into Lett me place a mobile order and him going to pick it up. I'm so happy the potato cakes are back for a limited time! After 40 years of dining out, this is my first review of an Arby's restaurant. And i have to wonder- why did I wait so long? Forty years of eating out makes you realize that some fast food might taste good going in, but a few minutes later the dread of having ingested the meal has settled into both your stomach and your mind. And this is what sets Arby's apart from all other fast food places that serve meats (burgers, chicken, hot dogs, etc) - when you are finished, you actually feel like you ate something reasonably healthy and it doesn't sit like sludge in your stomach! Today, i had a market sandwich (Turkey Swiss). I also ordered a 2 for $6 special, for which i chose a regular beef & cheddar sandwich and a gyro. Of course, the market fresh sandwich tasted excellent. It was fresh and looked like something i would make at home (if i wasn't so lazy). Only their sandwich tasted better than what i would make. And it was reasonably health ingredients. The traditional Arby's beef and cheddar was my guilty indulgence.. the melted cheese can't be that marvelous for my health, but i let myself believe that the roasted beef is a nutritional counter balance. It was tasty and like i remembered. Finally, the gyro was surprisingly tasty and light. The pita was very fresh, light and fluffy, which i loved. The gyro meat was actually nicely spiced and decently light as well. I really was nicely surprised how good it was. I recognize that Arby's isn't the same as a gourmet deli, but you really can't complain that a fast food restaurant has made some actual homemade quality sandwiches with their market fresh approach. They are tasty, reasonabky healthy and certainly affordably priced. On top of the very good food and reasonable prices, the restaurant was recently remodeled, the inside was very clean, the staff was very kind and helpful and the whole experience was very good. It's been a while since i frequented Arby's, but i will definitely be back. I used to think they were just beef sandwiches, but now i will be back for their market fresh selections. BEST ARBY'S SANDWICH...My husband and I went to the Gilbert, AZ Arby's on Market Street. We were greeted with a friendly smile by the cashier who was very nice. We are semi-regulars at this restaurant. Had lunch a few days ago, as my husband wanted to try their new advertised "Wagyu Burger" - our advice: DON'T. It arrived cold, dried out and BURNT, and it was very obvious it had been made hours before, then heated up. When husband went to return it, the not-too-bright register girl told him "That must be the way they're made". :-D Really, you even admit that its made cold, dried out, burnt and re-heated?!? Arby's re-made the burger and it was fine, but its disgraceful that they tried to push this - their newly advertised product - on us as fresh. Normally this location has a guy working. Very nice. Knows our name . Talks to us. The one manager very rude. She walked in one day didn't even say hi or make eye contact. I live in San tan valley. I have coupons mailed to me, today I forgot to bring them with me. I drove all the way there and realized we didn't bring them with us. I called to ask if they would let me have the deal. Yeah, I know its just an Arby's, but I was pretty impressed. The place was clean, fast, and tasty. The side salad was very fresh and crispy. Employees asked how everything was while I was eating too. Great Pepsi soda fountain as well with drinks you don't normally see. Only complaint is the lack of healthier food choices, but yeah, it is an Arby's. At the exit door, there is a loud bell you can ring if the service was good. When it rings, every employee yells thank you or whistles so that the customer that rang it can hear. Came on to dine on 5/25/16 about 1:30 PM. Service was average, assisted by the Store Manger. Wanted to try the new Bourbon Brisket sandwich. Have to say, kinda disappointed. The sauce- I would have expected to be a dark bourbon glaze or some type of Bourbon BBQ sauce? It was more a yellow mustard sweet sauce (very sweet). Sandwich presentation was a little messy & not much meat or sauce for the price of $7.99 as a combo meal. Won't say I was very impressed with the meal or experience.
