Okay so the four stars are for the past 2.5yrs of my favorite order delivered to me, it is always the same and I always click the reorder on DoorDash. Now if I was reviewing for tonight's meal I would give 1 star. I am confused and upset about how my order could've gone so wrong and how sad and abysmal the burger looks. Normally the burger has lots of delicious shredded lettuce, and tomato's and I pay extra for sliced fresh avocado and jalapeños and opt for fresh onions. Tonight's burger arrived with a dab of some old looking guacamole, half a thin slice of tomato, a shred of an onion and three jalapeños. No lettuce. I wish I was joking. Pluuuus, the fries were super salty. Thank goodness for DoorDash's option to refund for the burger itself but I am still fairly upset I spent $35 (!) on meal that I honestly am debating even eating because the burger is not appetizing looking and I am sooo bummed. This is my treat to myself and I was so looking forward to it after a long day. read more

i do not understand at all how this place has such high reviews. my friend and i got the lounge burger and the classic burger and shared the large half and half onion rings and fries at the time we were the only customers in the restaurant and it still took almost 30 mins for the food to come out, and we got brought out the wrong order. well the wait ended up being for nothing bc i havent never had such mid burger from a restaurant that specializes in burgers. literally on par with fast food. i dont think the bun was toasted and reminded me of the school lunch buns. it wasnt stale but it was super fresh either. the inside of the burger was just normal, there was nothing special about it, it was literally a shitty fast food burger (mcdonalds/burger king level, not in and out level) it was fine but it was a pretty small burger. the "large" fries and onion rings can in this tiny small bag and came out lukewarm. in total 2 burgers and a large fry came out to $30 for basically glorified fast food. my friend and i both agreed that we could have just gotten mcdonalds instead. do not recommend. read more

Their burgers are really good! I had their lounge burger with the half-and-half side, and it's pretty tasty. You can upgrade your side to a large for buck more. Employees are very nice and very accommodating, always making sure you're served well. Evening would be a great time to visit them because there's not a whole lot of people and it's much quieter. Now the vegetables are sliced so thin, like paper, and they just don't make it like they used to. And I love the kennebec fries. I was a frequent customer, so to see this place closed after my last experience (and really the last year going here) is not surprising at all. Jamal (sp) was my cashier and he greeted me warmly was very friendly. When I was questioning what I might order, he made excellent suggestions. This is a fairly new establishment so it is very clean. And when he was not working, he was not texting or talking to his other teammates like without doing something he was wiping down the counters. He was straightening up the straws. I mean, he was always doing something and I find that so commendable. It's very hard to find anymore. People feel so entitled these days and it's like... This is your job. You should do it to the best of your ability anytime you're doing anything you should always do it to the best of your ability or why are you doing it to just barely get by and even if you're doing it just barely to get by you can still pretend to be busy. I hate when I see people just talking and going off and they don't even pay attention to the guest in the guest are like looking around needing help and it just makes a very bad experience. That was the complete opposite here! He took my order. Repeated it back to me took my money and here's the shocker. He counted my change back appropriately. He didn't just go OK in your changes $10.46. He counted up the way you're supposed to give your change back and nobody teaches that anymore so I was Impressed. It's a very simple thing but a lot of people don't know how to do it. And of course, the food was delicious. I don't eat a lot of burgers, but this place is close to my house and I stop in when I'm feeling like a burger. Then I go last week and show the guy on the email what the main promo is. He is clueless and can't find it for 4 minutes. I just tell him forget about, I'll just get the basics again. I look at my reciept a few days later.. he overcharged me for the $5 side salad that when I ordered with no tomatoes this time, got so confused as to the point of he asked me "so just lettuce" nooooo just the regular salad but NO TOMATOES. Really wanted to like this place but was very put off by the onion rings order that we got. I like my fries/onion rings on the crispier side normally but these were way overdone. Tuesday, July 22, 2025, around 5:40 PM The people working at the restaurant today were complete assholes. From the moment we walked in, one guy just stared at us without saying a single word. I had to wait two minutes before asking him, "You ready?" Then, when we finally ordered, it took about 30 minutes for the food to be ready. We told them we were eating there, not taking it to go. But the rude, bitchy lady still packed it to go -- like they didn't want us there at all. The customer service was absolutely horrible. Came during Happy Hour (didn't know they had one, we got lucky) and was surprised our bill was pretty expensive still! Burgers were okay, pretty standard and service was quick. First time I went to Burger Lounge was in San Diego back in 2011, and I remember talking to someone there saying that they were planning to come to L.A. So yeah, it is my fault that I haven't been to any of the Burger Lounges up here in L.A., like EVER. Thankfully, there's one in Culver City and my girlfriend lives in five minutes from here. It's been a while, so I had to familiarize myself with the menu again. Decided to go with the S.O.B. with an extra patty and extra cheese. Man, I should have come back a LOT sooner. That grass-fed beef makes a huge difference when you double stack that meat, because OMG grass-beef just slaps that much better. The caramelized onions add a lot of texture and flavor to the burger. And I must say, the construction of this burger is FLAWLESS. Seriously, it's one of the most picturesque burgers I've ever had. Not just that, but at no point does it even become a mess in my hand. Credit must go where credit is due, this is fantastic from both a flavor and construction perspective. Also, the fries here are faaaaantastic. Thick cut, not too fried, salted perfectly. I had to stop myself from eating too much of these because we had a big dinner coming up! On top of that, Jamaal (the general manager) welcomed us and had a lot of great enthusiasm. I noticed that he was using his laptop at one of the tables, so I figured he had to be the general manager of the restaurant. Took some time to chat with him and he is very friendly. Even though we were the only ones in here, he made sure that we had a great experience! Limited parking is in the small structure in the back behind the restaurant. Location in Culver City, this is one of the better burger joints. I got the Lounge Burger meal, which included fries and a drink. The burger was hearty and tasty. Very satisfying. The bun looked a bit dark and I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be that way, but there wasn't anything strange taste-wise. The fries are similar to In-n-Out ones. Not really crispy but seem to be fresh potatoes. The menu describes European style, which implies double frying that leaves a crispy exterior. Wasn't so much the case. They were good, just not the best. I ate them right after I got them, so they weren't steaming in the bag. However, I paid extra to do a half and half with fries and onion rings. Now this are crispy and delicious. They add spices and herbs to them, making them extra. I love the drink selection. I'm not a huge soda person, so I appreciate some variety when I have one. And they have ginger beer! Service was fast and friendly. Everyone respected social distancing, mask-wearing. Fantastic visit. read more

The customer service was excellent!! The cashier and other staff members were very nice and helpful. This time around the food was cooked perfectly! No complaints here whatsoever. My BF and I sat outside due to Covid restrictions, but it was completely safe. The business is enforcing social distancing & there was also sanitizer provided. Ordered through their website for fast & convenient pickup. The burger was pretty big and didn't taste too greasy and the lettuce added a nice crush with their thousand island dressing. Flavor was good and the I liked that it was grass fed meat. We also ordered their large half fries / half onion rings combo but for onion ring lovers, I'd recommend just getting a large order cause they were that good and dipping some in their ranch dressing. We order from this Burger Lounge location a couple times a month and it never disappoints. Well except for that one time for a few weeks they did not offer the turkey burger but that is due to a supply chain issue and we weren't even mad about it because of the reasoning behind it. So, as you imagine, our go to is the Turkey Burger. So much flavor, great presentation, nice texture, not overly salted like some places do. I get mine with American cheese and no onion, he does no cheese, fresh onion- and you get a TON of onion FYI. The burger has amazing sauce, isn't usually soggy, fresh crisp veggies, perfectly cooked bun! Tonight I had the chicken bites (for the second time ever), they are tasty but the texture isn't as good as lots of other places. Tonight they were slightly dry however they were juicy the first time. I'm not deducting any stars though because this is a burger place and most people who order the chicken bites (read: children) would be totally happy with them. The vegan ranch dipping sauce is better even than the ranch that most restaurants serve. I love it. Their fries are so freaking good, perfect mix of crispy and tender. The seasoning is delicious and reminds me of the fries at Islands. Always get the Large! Since I don't like onions I do not normally order onion rings however last time we accidentally got an extra order of onion rings and I tried some and the batter and seasoning was actually really good so if you are an onion rings person I would recommend doing the 1/2 and 1/2 option to get both fries and rings. Lastly I'll say the shakes are very good, everything you want in a shake, creamy thick, flavorful and not full of BS. I do also love that this company believes only in clean products. Wow has the food quality drastically gone down since the pandemic and I suspect the old kitchen staff has departed. I want to support local businesses and used to like this spot, but the food is now overpriced for the poor quality. The burger patty is supposed to be medium unless otherwise requested (which I didn't) and it is so charred you can taste burnt-ness, not smokiness of a grill, and the meat is well done. Had to douse it with ketchup and their 1000 island sauce to avoid only tasting the burnt-ness. The fries and onion rings used to be stacked to the brim and I was usually so full I could only order the half and half to share with another. Not only are they now skimpy but the onion rings were burnt (again, you can taste it) as well and the onions were poorly coated such that the breading was dangling off of some onions or non-existent. The fries were cooked okay but were a bit too salty. The best part of this recent meal were the housemade ranch and 1000 island. Never returning. I don't know what might have changed between earlier this year to now, but I just finished with the saddest burger meal. The only positive thing is that I'm not longer hungry, but I'm definitely not full nor enthusiastic that I consumed it. For $20, I ordered the Classic with bacon and a half and half order of the onion rings and fries. I picked up my order right when the bag got stapled up. I work across the street. I hustled back and cracked open the bag. I pulled out the half and half order first, and dread filled my soul. There were only 2 onion rings resting on top of the stack. I told myself, "okay, don't panic, they're probably under the fries". As I slowly emptied the box into the other side of the burger box lid, my despair grew. Only 3 small additional onion rings were at the bottom of the box. I definitely didn't want to eat all the rings right off the bat, and there were waaaay to many fries (which where completely unseasoned), so I started with the burger. On the first bite, it was lukewarm at best, and so dry. The cheese wasn't warm on it, and it looked like it was starting to get that oily texture from sitting out for too long. The ketchup, mustard, and pickles were on there, and even added a tomato slice, so it's not like it wasn't possible for everything to be juicy and heavenly. The patty didn't seem to have any seasoning on it either. It's another reminder of why I should just cook at home: better burger and better price. read more
