Burger Me! Oh yes please! I will have to say my experience was excellent at this establishment. They were not to busy when we went in and the burger I got was outstanding. I got the BBQ Bison Burger with a side of garlic fries. Man this burger did not disappoint! Also the garlic fries held their own. Great fries you can order these by themselves and they are great. It was $12.50 for the BBQ Bison Burger. I think it was just a bit on the pricey side for the burger. But it was a good burger. The atmosphere was great and the staff was friendly. They were accommodating to our needs and one of our people in our party got their order wrong but they charged the difference back to the Visa card. Which was nice of them to do. The restaurant had okay amount of seating and it was a bit on the noisy side but not bad all in all. I will definitely come back again for more. The parking lot has plenty of room for parking although we weren't there during peak hours so I don't know how packed this places gets. But it seemed like the staff knew how to handle the rush hours. Other items we ordered where a regular cheese burger, hotdog, Big Dippa, aside of garlic fries which everyone should try and they all looked pretty good. If you are burnt-out on the burger options around Reno than this is the place for you. Burger Me offers a variety of burgers that I have not seen anywhere else. I have tried many different burgers here and have not once been disappointed. One of the most unique and biggest selling point for this place is the fact that all of their beef is hormone and antibiotic free. They pride themselves on using meats that come from local and humane sources like Reno Provisions and Sierra Meats. I know that a lot of people wouldn't care where their meats come from but I for one feel much better about eating this type of food. I strongly recommend giving the Italian Stallion a try! Probably one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. I also really enjoy trying whatever their special stuffed burger is for that day. Bison burger is another popular choice. If you are feeling adventurist and want to go all out, try the Dirty Bird, it has chili and a fried egg. I was skeptical about it but have absolutely no regret. Burger Me also offers a variety of french fries that are unmatched anywhere else: regular, onion rings, garlic, and sweet potato. The atmosphere in here is spot on. It is very clean and welcoming. They have booths, tall tables, smaller tables and outdoor patio seating. There is even a flat screen TV hanging up so that you wont miss your favorite games. Huge Fan! Happen on this place be accident and LOVE IT. I am not a big fan of fast food burgers, but this place is awesome. After a long hike and needing lunch I pulled into the drive up, and grabbed a chicken burger...... OH. what a burger it was, could not eat the whole thing in one sitting. Plus, the service was awesome. I have a soft spot for people that love dogs, and after my hike with Luna I was also getting her a burger. After ordering Luna's burger and me telling them it was for my dog, they let me know if I just wanted the meat they would only charge me 3.00. :) Ok, that right there won me over, a place that loves my doggie!!!!! I should have read the other reviews a bit more carefully as I guess I was expecting table service rather than order at the counter. On the evening I was there, it wasn't as clean as it could have been. The counter staff were very friendly and helpful. The burger was large and made of fresh meat, with a substantial bun that held together while I ate. There was a healthy serving of lettuce and tomato on top. I had it pretty plain, and the taste was . . . . . . OK. The meat was a little on the dry side (I ordered medium rare) and not a lot of steaky flavor. I thought the fries were just . . . . . . . OK. I got the plain fries which were made from real potatoes, but were a bit limp. Not the crispy crunchy way I like fries. I opted not to have a beer with my burger and got a lemonade instead. It was a standard, from a mix lemonade. Should have had a beer. So - would I come back? If I happened to be in that part of town, maybe. I would not make it a special trip and I found trying to get to the restaurant was a bit challenging. But it was night, it was dark, and I was not familiar with that part of town. Found this place on Yelp and saw it was featured on DD&D! I got the hamburger cooked medium and added avocado and grilled onions. I didn't see any pink in the burger and they forgot to add the grilled onions even though it says it clearly on the receipt. I also found a hair on the avocado that wasn't mine. Torn about this place. Food is good but they ALWAYS screw up my order. Not sure why as it's pretty simple. No sauce, lettuce pickles ONLY. I order it that way every single time. Every single time it has sauce and tomatoes on it. No matter if i order the chicken or the bison, every single time they mess it up. It's almost comical at this point. My lovely wife reminded me that we'd be passing through Truckee, where the original Burger Me! is.....but also that Reno has one! We first learned about Burger Me! Through "DDD" w/Guy. Feeling super pumped about a delicious burger after running on Mickey D's oatmeal since Salt Lake City, we entered the Reno restaurant and were greeted by Joe. He gave us the special of the day which was a burger with meat stuffed with roasted red bell peppers and bacon, layered ghost pepper cheese, and topped with mixed greens and tomato. I got a combo with the garlic fries and lemonade. My wife ordered the slider with fixings on the side and sweet potato fries and lemonade. From the time I took the first bite in the sandwich my mouth was greeted with a juicy hamburger bursting with flavors. The ghost pepper cheese kicked in towards the end of the burger's flavor and only had a minor kick to it- nothing too terrible. Mind you, I came in thinking I was getting the bison burger but it happened that this other burger was the special of the day, so I decided to roll the dice and try the stuffed patty. I'm glad I did!! The rest of the burger satisfied as the first bite did - flavorful, warm, juicy! The fries were layered with a generous portion of garlic and parsley. The sweet potato fries were salted just right & also came with parsley sprinkled on top. Both were an excellent compliment to the burgers. Wifey says this slider was just the right portion for her and was very tasty as well, with perfectly cooked bacon (not scorched). She opted for the white bread and I got the wheat bread (choices? Yes!). Joe was friendly, and we got the vibe that he genuinely cared about customer satisfaction and was happy to be there. Score for customer service! The restaurant was very clean and they played surprisingly good music over the speakers (80's rock/pop). Overall good energy and great food! Burger Me always has ridiculously long lines at Reno Street Food, which has always deterred me from ordering from them. I'd rather hang out with friends, eat my food, and enjoy a beer than stand in line for 30 minutes just waiting to even order. But on the last night of this year's Reno Street Food, I decided I'd suck it up and finally order something I've wanted to try for so long. I am so glad that I finally did! I ordered the Southwest Turkey Burger with the sweet potato fries. The burger was really moist and the combination of the bacon, pepper jack cheese, chili pepper, and chipotle mayo make for a really flavorful burger with a little kick. I couldn't stop eating it! I also tried a bite of the gyro burger, which is a lamb patty topped with feta and tzatziki. Whoa, also super awesome! I'm not saying that I like standing in line for that long, but I am saying that it's totally worth it in the end! Ok...I just HAD to enter the fray on this one. Bunches of one and 5 star reviews? Hmmm. This business is calling my name. So we head in for lunch about 11:30 on a Monday. First the atmosphere pretty much hasn't changed at all since the Tahoe Burger days. There may be a slight change here or there....but it's pretty much the same. Woods and stainless steel and a few TV's pretty much make up the decor. I went with a double burger with Cheddar Cheese. My wife ordered the "Special Caprese Burger". They were out of the Fresh Mozzarella so my wife chose Swiss. My daughter had the hot dog kids menu item. The daughter ordered the regular fries (included with the hot dog) and my wife and I decided to share a large order of sweet potato fries. All burgers are served with tomatoes lettuce and special sauce unless you "hold" something. You can also add caramelized onions for FREE. Yes for free.... You can add cheese for 50 cents. I think they have provolone, swiss, american and cheddar. They may have more. You can also add avacado or bacon for $1. Also over at the "condiment" location they have mustard, ketchup, relish, and mayo coming from a pump. Nice..mayo! Additionally they have peppers, fresh onions, and a chipotle mayo there as well. Wendy's style cups for fry dipping as well. The single patties are quarter pound and are a good size after cooking. I think I recalled seeing that the burgers here are not "hormone fed cattle" posted on some sort of sign. (edited to say that I have been corrected, according to my "inside" sources all the burger patties at Burger Me are 1/3 lb with only single exception.) Now for the burgers and how they fared. My double, was tasty, not over or undercooked. It was also very big. Too big for my mouth, so, I yanked a patty off and ate the burger as a single. I also just ate the other patty plain. And was it lacking subtle undercurrents of seasonings and herbs? Maybe a little. My wife's Caprese burger. She didn't think it was anything special to drive across town for. I on the otherhand liked it and look forward to getting an opportunity to try it with the actual fresh mozzarella. The pesto was nice. My very picky daughter tore through her hot dog order and even tried the fries. Both fries were to my liking. I liked the denseness of the sweet potato fries. Again my wife wasn't very satisfied with them. She likes a more light sweet potato fry. They have Pepsi soda on tap. The service here was good helpful and pleasant. This isn't a business that is just resting on any laurels or name recognition. It's a business that wants to do what it takes to make it in this tough economy. Now comes the biggie. Price point. I do agree that some of the "special" burgers are a bit pricey but the basic single burger is a great deal. Similar value to Fatburger. We didn't order any chicken sandwiches (uh the name is "Burger Me" not "Chicken Me". I will return, when I am on that side of town and hungry. I want to try the onion rings as well as the fresh made shakes. I would recommend to my friends with a note about the sticker shock possibility. read more

I tried this place a few weeks ago. I tried the Ahi burger and my wife tried a regular beef burger. I'm not a penny-pincher, if food is good, I'll gladly pay for it. The ahi burger was cooked perfectly and it was served with an asian slaw and fries. The fries were ok, the slaw was good. My only complaint was the size of the burger, I don't think it was 3 ounces. It was nothing to flip out over as I only wanted a light lunch anyway, so I would not reccomend this place if I was really hungry. Good food, but child-size portions. read more

I happened to have been staying at the Hampton Inn across the street and was able to walk here to grab dinner. They have a lot of options for burgers--beef, turkey, ahi, and more-- so you can be as burger traditional or creative as you want. They even offer 3 types of bun: white, wheat, and gluten-free. I ordered the ahi burger on wheat with the garlic fries on the side. If you order a combo, you get a smaller size of fries than if you order the basket but I still had plenty of fries for myself. The ahi burger gets messy toward the end because of the cole slaw and sriracha sauces. All in all, this was very tasty, on my top 5 list of favorite places to get a burger in the country. That's pretty much it for the positive sadly. So I typically go to the one at the Summit, but I was in that part of town and said "what the heck" I typically love their southwest chipotle "vegan" burger. What I didn't like: the patty! It was like mush this time, also I had a friend that ordered the same thing since they are vegan, also the same thing. Also my friend didn't eat hers or complain when they added mayo(not vegan) to the burger. The fries turned out "ok", not the best. I was very disappointed. I had heard a lot about this place so I was excited to give it a shot. My wife and I went this past Sunday only to be vastly disappointed. The menu was fairly broad so I was excited to try an elk burger (yeah, I live on the edge!). It seemed like we had to wait awhile to get our food (just my elk burger and my wife ordered a naked burger...effectively a patty on a bed of iceburg lettuce). What I received was an enormous bun stacked with lettuce and a medium sized patty....hmmm...I thought these were gourmet burgers not something I'd get at my buddy's bbq after drinking a lot of beer. I think I'd be somewhat OK had it not been for the high price to be paid, yet with chain stores upping their game I am either going to go back to my solid choice of In-n-Out or one of those other gourmet burgers by Jack or Wendy. I tried the Italian Stallion, it's supposed to be "award winning" burger. I guess I don't get it. It's nothing special. It basically turns a burger into an Italian sub sandwich by adding cold cuts to the burger. Problem is that the cold cuts are actually cold. So it's more like a sub than a hot juicy burger. I would stick to the regular cheese burger. The onion rings are pretty good but a bit too breaded for my taste. Food Appetizer - Nah it is fast food. Main Course - I went with one of their specialty burgers, the Truckee Trainwreck. It is a burger with cheddar cheese, chili, onion ring, and topped with a fried egg. So much going on I lost the taste of the egg in the mix. Dessert - Nah it is fast food. But they do have Tahoe ice cream. But their neighbor is a frozen custard place; they were closed when we went into Burger Me. Service - We had a friendly and helpful cashier. She took our name as they call it out when the meal is ready for you to pick it up, but instead she delivered to our table, it was not too crowded when we Future - I will be back for some more.
