Ordered take out at burger me today my order was a hamburger with grilled onions, side of fries and onion rings. I called the order in said it would be 10-15 minutes. I went over to pick and it was really busy inside. The line wasn't long and I waited 5 minutes til they called my name. The food overall was good. The burger was juicy and not over cooked. The fries had a decent amount of salt. The onion rings looked good and smelled good but they disappointed me. The color is golden brown on the outside but there was pieces of it that were over cooked and charred and it was too much grease on it. It had been years since I had one of the marvelous burgers, and that came from thee sister store in Truckee. I was traveling on i80 headed back into town when the idea to get a burger and fries. I recalled there store on Sharlands dr just off I80. Of my goodness, I certainly want disappointed. From the moment I walked in the place, I felt confident I was in for a treat. Oh I ordered a regular cheese burger and fries. They only use all Natural Ingredients, I selected a whole wheat bun. The fries were plump and cooked just right. The burger itself, was amazing. And sever medium rare, and it was pink in the middle, wow! I give these five stars and will be back to try that Buffalo burger a try. Our family has been visiting Burger Me since it opened, at least 5 years ago. Everything is delicious, made with quality ingredients, and the homemade sauces and ice tea is a nice touch! I've never been a French fry addict, but I actually crave the fries (with ranch or chipotle sauce). The fries are thicker, crispy on the outside, and 'like butta' on the inside. Really, they taste like they are deep fried in butter. The sweet potato fries are good too. So, my kids want McDonald's (but only because of the toy), but love Burger Me burgers...oh and those chicken strips! My hubby and I fight over the leftover bits. The kids meal is the same price as the happy meal, just no toy, and we could probably trace the source of the ingredients here! So much better. I love the Fish Sando with fried or blackened cod. It's huge! And I've tried many of the burgers. They never disappoint. Try the wheat bun! It's surprisingly good. I usually order the slider with fries and a drink. Just the right size and the price is right too. If you sign up for their frequent buyer card, you get $10 off for each $100 you spend! He continuously puts in hard work to ensure that everyone's orders is satisfied with kindness and understanding if something goes wrong. I have seen him put in work like no other and takes his job/responsibilities very seriously. Our family loves to eat Burgers! This spot is one of our favorites. Fresh made and fast. They have great milkshakes too. Ask what the flavor of the day is, when you go in. I ordered the Cowboy burger on a pretzel bun. The pretzel bun was the right amount of chewy and steamed so that was a fantastic upgrade choice. The burger itself was really great. A great balance between the spicy of the jalapeño, the sweetness of the bbq sauce, and the crunchiness of the onion strings. Bbq may have been the slightly predominant flavor but it complemented all of the other components of the burger. I will definitely get this again! read more

Oh my goodness I am so beyond happy that i saw this place when my husband and I were driving home from Reno. We both ordered the elk burger and it was nothing short of amazing! I had the wheat bun and he had the white and they were equally delicious. Just take a look at that thick slab of bacon on those photos. The photos truly speak for themselves. The fries were also very tasty I just didn't have much room for them after that scrumptious burger feast. The seasoning on both the burger and fries was exceptional. Delicious freshly brewed iced green tea was readily available to wash down the tasty meal. We will be back every time that we head towards Reno. Thank you for serving amazing eats! P.S. Son and I stopped here. He got the Greek lamb burger and garlic fries with a drink. I got the elk burger with grilled jalapeño and bbq sauce with a drink. About $35. Did I say $35. Son enjoyed his burger. He asked for it medium and it was cooked well. He enjoyed the burger and the fries. I had a few of the fries and would return just for them. Probably only for them. My burger I asked for medium well, and it was well done. I don't mind well done burgers, but when the total bill for two drinks, two burgers, and one order of garlic fries is almost $35, when I say medium well it should be exactly that. Nothing more and nothing less. Grilled jalapeño was cold. For the price point should have been done fresh. Brioche buns were the bomb! Overall the fries were great and the burger buns were awesome. As a tourist visitor to Reno from Chicago via DC, I rarely ate burgers until I moved to Chicago. Burgers are everywhere in Chicago. It's probably a prerequisite to living in Chicago. I cannot believe I haven't rated this place based on the amount of times I have either been to their Truckee or this location. I first wanted to go here because Guy Fieri had eaten here. During the whole episode of DDD I was drooling watching all the great burger ideas and selection. Yesterday was another repeat of what I love about this place. It is always consistent with the key things I think makes any place successful. Service, selection and price...Burger Me has all of these components. I walk in and this is every time the person at the front counter greets you and immediately you feel welcome. 2nd I walk up look at their amazing selection of burgers and selections of meat from bison, elk, ground beef and yes a chicken and 1 fish option. But here is the key about this place they are so flexible and really whatever you want they will deliver when it comes to one of their creations. Today I went for the Train Wreck $9.95 1/3 lb hamburger, onion ring, chili, cheddar cheese & fried egg...but I went protein style and add some bacon. Went to my table and relaxed in their comfortable and roomy restaurant and just a few minutes later out comes this masterpiece just slightly leaking the over east egg. No time to waste and I dive into this burger. Sure enough it does what it always does and delivers everything you want in a burger. These guys are awesome! Not just flavor wise but they are great people. (Which is hard to come by here in Reno especially from a business) I came in today to get food and was a dollar or so short (I'm a broke college student and snowboard instructor and I don't get paid till tomorrow) the girl at the counter could tell that I just needed to eat and she said "it's okay we got you" as she handed my a cup for a drink. I was starving after work and that absolutely made my day. you never know who is struggling to make ends meet and just needs a meal. and she was willing to help me out. Good but I wasn't say the best. The people are very nice though. I like that you can add or subtract from any burger you choose. I ordered the veggie (of course) and added cheese and mushroom. The burger is homemade but a little dry if I might add. It crumbled a lot as I ate it- or maybe I'm just not a graceful eater. Anyway I recommend the wheat bun and definitely he garlic fries! The flavor is pretty strong so I would avoid them if you have an interview or are meeting someone important after. Not bad though and was indeed fresh as promised! read more

This place has one of the most delightful malt milkshakes. It's honestly what's the doctor orders sometimes. A nice, sweet, malty, icy milk shake. A friend was trying to find a buffalo/bison burger and the only places that had them was here, Fuddrucker's and Cabela's. Fuddrucker's had really bad reviews so we skipped that place. We came here and my daughter got the kids grilled cheese and fries. We got the lamb/gyro burger and the buffalo burger. The garlic fries weren't very garlicky. I come from the garlic capital, Gilroy,plus I'm Italian so we love garlic. The fries had Parmesan on it but..... wheres the garlic? The lamb burger wasn't that great, there was no flavor to it. My daughter liked the grilled cheese. But how can you go wrong with grilled cheese. The buffalo burger was pretty tasty. I tries the bbq sauce they have.... soooooooo good. I took a little cup of it home. Really good flavor, so of course I piled it on the buffalo burger. Would go back for that burger and their bbq sauce. Burger Me is beyond BURGERS. Pricey but well worth it. I love this place and have been returning often. The burgers are cooked to perfection and lots of add-on options which I request on the side because it gets messy otherwise. I have never been disappointed. Inside comfortable seating & casual décor.
