Last week I came across this restaurant accidentally. Was walking to catch the bus on Madison Ave. Started to rain an extremely hot day. I thought I read the board outside correctly Happy Hours...I said ok I will have one drink. Walked in sat at the bar and asked what do you have on Happy Hours and the bartender said nothing yet starts at 4pm. I said o.k. ordered an ice cold Hard Cider delicious. I'm Chillin I see the Mgr. with Yam-aka on then I said to myself I'm in a Kosher Restaurant. Indeed I was..I didn't know I was in a Kosher restaurant. Best thing I asked for the menu. I couldn't make up my mind either hamburger or a pastrami sandwich . Well a decided for the hamburger. absolutely delicious súper fresh the french fries were amazing. Bartender and Waitress were very serviceable and attentive. It's a pricey restaurant but worth it! Even if you're Not Jewish, you should definitely try it! They was a guy next to me he ordered Ribeye steak with a salad and I wanted to take it away from him I WILL GO BACK ON HAPPY HOUR

You like great Kosher food? If you do, this place is for you. Southern fried pickles, spicy chicken pizza and the goto burger, lamb burger with cucumber & jalapeno relish remoulade. The food was great...stick to their strengths and order a burger...it's one of the best in the city. Ambience is New York eclectic and enjoy people watching as the crowd is local and entertaining. Service great as usual.

So, went to wolf and lamb this evening with 3 people. My wife and 2 that were visiting from abroad. I'm really not sure why people speak highly of wolf and lamb. Now, before you go off on me about not speaking to the manager first, when you're out with people, most people don't like to make a stink. We got the fried pickles and the ribeye spring rolls (both were good). The dirty martini was a 1/5. Not chilled properly and too watery. Then things got worse, the 2 people we were out with were not religious and a filet mignon as labeled isn't a filet mignon. This should be clearly stated on the menu or call it a Delmonico cut. I got the $84 20oz cowboy rare. I get my steak and it's well done. I really hate to be that person but I sent it back because there's nothing worse than well done steak especially when you're paying $84 for a piece of meat. To be fair, they graciously accept it and send in another order. I asked the waiter whether I should change my order because of the thinness of the cut. He says no and it'll come out here. I took a pic of the steak that came because, apparently when one comes out well done the other needs to come out blue. The waiters also filled my glass that had sparkling water in it with still water. All for the cheap price of nearly $500. 1/5. Would not recommend

Had a really good evening here w a good friend. Walked in and had to wait a bit to be seated but able to get a table without a reservation which was nice. The scene in the restaurant is good - fairly Laid back for a steakhouse. We waited a while for our order for drinks and food to be taken but when we did order the food came out trainable quick. Overall the food was good but not overwhelming by any stretch. Ordered the Lamb meatballs and they were tasty. Ordered the ribeye burger medium rare and it was cooked well above that so a bit dry. The quality of the beef was good. The salad was fresh.

Last minute change of plans led to a weekday lunch here, which I was not expecting. The place is well decorated and has a very rustic, cozy vibe despite its location in a very corporate midtown zone. Loved the brick wall interior as well as the fresh bouquet of flowers at the bar. Dined at the bar and had a salad (at a steakhouse, I know) and thought it was actually quite bland and dry. Obviously, not their forte but you'd think that a $45 salad would be at least better than something you can get at Whole Foods or some other salad shop. I can't speak for the menu bc I am biased just based on what I ordered but I will say that the place has a unique vibe-kind of serious but also not too serious. Hard to explain. I dont think Ill be returning but Im glad I tried it.

I got the mushroom pita and the whole roasted baby cauliflower, and both were insane. Mushroom Pita: Fresh, fluffy pita bread, with roasted mushrooms in an umami-rich tahini sauce. This was mouthwateringly good, and the mushrooms also had a great, fresh texture. Baby Cauliflower: It sounds so simple but the magic is in the execution. The cauliflower is both soft and firm at the same time; it almost melts in your mouth. There's a reason that two times we went to Miznon, they had already run out. Friendly service, and a chill ambiance. They have fresh tomatoes and long green peppers as a living decor, and they will give you a cooked pepper if you like. Take them up on their offer - the pepper is delicious (and spicy if you eat the seeds).

Cocktails are a little heavy on the sweetness, but the food is delicious and dessert is insane. Never had key lime pie like that in my life. Pro tip - would go duck breast over duck confit, although both were fantastic. The rack of lamb was also divine. Only criticism is that service could use some improvement, a few of our appetizers were incorrect & we felt rushed to leave at the end. But otherwise no notes, would highly recommend that anyone check this place out.

Passed hors d'oeuvres included beef carpaccio, ahi tuna tostadas, short rib gnocchi, and patatas bravas. For dinner, we were given a choice of three appetizers: roasted caufliower, lamb riblets, or brussel sprouts with lamb bacon; a choice of four entrees: duck confit risotto, ora king salmon with coconut curry, tournedos au poivre, or cote do boeuf. The three dessert options were apple streudel, affogato "al caffe", and key lime pie. I ordered brussel sprouts, duck, and key lime pie, and Eric R. got lamb riblets, ora king salmon, and apple streudel. I think he regretted offering me a lamb riblet because it was ridiculously tender and melted in my mouth. What is truly amazing is this is a meat restaurant, so the ice cream, risotto, gnocchi, and other dishes that we think of as dairy-based were non-dairy, and still completely amazing! It was definitely the fanciest kosher restaurant I have even been to in my life. The restaurant was so packed that we could not hear most of the speeches, which were given into a microphone attached to a small speaker near the bride's and groom's family's table. I do not fault the restaurant for its popularity though! The menu is really fun so I think it would be cool to return here for a special occasion. It is also located in midtown Manhattan which is very convenient for transportation. B'teavon!
