Contrary to what everyone else is complaining about I actually enjoyed my experience. The cashier was very nice and patient while I reviewed the menu to see what I wanted. He answered all the questions I had. The food was good. I thought it was pretty cool that the bun for the burger had their name branded on it. The hit dog I got was ridiculously good as well!! Texas chili cheese dog!! The fries a regular side is more than enough for one person. It was a bit pricey hence the four stars and not five but I had a good experience here. read more

The service is great only when a certain person is not there. When he there the services is terrible, he doesn't try to help the employee when it a lot of orders and customers waiting 30minutes on their food. On Saturday night, it was a terrible service after one manager shift was over. The manager was using so much profanity around myself while I was waiting 30 minutes for my food because the manage steady arguing with another employee and being disrespectful in front of the entire store. Amazing burger!!! The quality of the ingredients is very noticeable and on the first bite you can tell that this is not just another burger place. The fries are perfection along with their many choices of craft beers. I was there with my family and it is safe to say that this is our new fav burger place. My kids loved the soda fountain. The customer service there is also great, everybody was super welcoming and very nice, the GM came to talk to us to check if everything was good, very nice guy. A little price but absolutely delicious, my favorite is the breakfast burger with the fried egg and hash brown, also nice date spot they have beer and wine there as well. staff is friendly and welcoming, i went to the one in Hallandale. Came alone after dinner, 8:00. Menu mentions burgers are double patties and expensive, $8.99 I think, and at the bottom, single burgers are available. Asked if I can get a rare, or at least medium rare burger (gourmet meat and all), but "no medium well or well done only." I don't like well done so I decided only a single burger to go, with everything but their sauce on the side with medium onion rings. Page rings in 10 min and my order is on a tray and not to go. I noticed no sauce on the side and asked if it was on the burger? Told no and after 5 full minutes my order was wrapped to go, with small container of their sauce prepared at the last second. Onion rings were good, but cold after 3 min drive home, burger awful. They normally serve double patties because each single is like a kids burger at McDonalds. Well done like crazy, flattened so it covers most of the bun, and yep, a full tablespoon of their sauce on the burger (tasted like katsup and mayo.) No second chance from me. read more

Burger was OK. Fries were good and a lot of them! Onion rings were sliced in huge pieces but broke apart when I lifted them, My main "beef"... pardon the bun, I mean, pun... was that the music was NOISY NOISE NOISY. We have ordered ahead multiple times and each time the food is not only not ready at the promised time, they haven't even started making it. Such a disappointment. Hands down the best burgers and frozen custard in town. Every time I visit the Hallandale location, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. $12.50 for a burger meal? Burgers are tiny with crappy american processed cheese. There are virtually no options in this place. No chicken burgers, no speciality burgers, if you want to customize your burger you have to pay an extra dollar for each topping, on a burger that is already a total rip-off without toppings. We had heard great things about Burger Fi from friends and family and were excited to try it out when we visited Florida, as we live out of state. Unfortunately we had a truly terrible experience at this location. We ordered a chocolate malt and it had an awful chemical taste. Several members of our party tasted it and we all agreed that something was terribly wrong with it. We took it up to the counter to be made again, and they reluctantly whipped up another one with a different flavor, just in case it was the malt that was making it taste bad. We tried the second one and it had the same awful taste, so we brought this to the manager on duty's attention, in which he acted flustered and "too busy" to assist us at all. He angrily asked what's wrong, and claimed that there was nothing wrong with the shake. We then asked him to try the shake, as it tasted like some chemical had gotten into the machinery used to make the shake, and he refused angrily and acted as if we had no value as a customer in his restaurant. We brought the shake over to another employee who agreed to try it and she then admitted how disgusting it tasted and threw it in the garbage. She then made the decision to make sure no more shakes were being made, as it could be potentially dangerous to customers. We were SHOCKED as to how the employee/manager treated us, as no one apologized or even attempted to refund our order. I am not the type to ever complain at a restaurant, but as this was an instance where there was something potentially hazardous about the quality of the food, we felt it necessary the restaurant knew. It is obvious this location, or at least the employees working the night we were there, take absolutely no pride in their jobs. Utterly disappointing. read more

Maybe I'm just too old or too un-hip for this place, but I definately did not enjoy my experience. The music was too loud, the lights were too dim, the prices were too high and I had trouble reading the menu board. I felt lost as soon as I walked in. A bunch of customers standing at the counter, not sure who was in line and who wasn't. I think everyone was just trying to read the menu board. The food quality was pretty good, but not the value you can get at other burger places. I ordered a beer with my burger and it was not cold at all. I took it back to the counter and the cashier offered me a cup of ice! I'm not a beer snob, but I normally don't have my beer on the rocks. The manager overheard our conversation and immediately got me a cold beer..Thanks! The place is new and close to were I live so I really want to like it. I am a local who's now visited twice. My first time I was not overly impressed so I decided to give them a second chance. I arrived and my order was taken fairly quickly and then we sat with the pager to wait. Even though the place was not busy I noticed the teamwork among staff was non existent... They were all rushing around and the manager I assume started yelling out orders as more people began to arrive. So we notice that patron after patron have their name called and their orders filled even though they came in after us. At that point I questioned why are we waiting so long for 2 burgers a hot dog and fry? They all had the classic deer in the headlight look on their face, so I asked for my money back. To the credit of the manager, he did apologize and refunded my money and he even gave us the food we had already ordered. The worst part of the experience was that the food was not good at all, burgers were lacking, fries were too crispy (over cooked) :-( I'll stick with their competitor up the street who have really well trained employees that work well and know how to prepare the food they serve. read more
