Drove all the way from Miami to eat an Italian Sausage only to find out that they sell pizza. Extremely disappointed.

Found this steakhouse on the AADVANTAGE dining program…read more Olives and pita bread are served complimentary. There are no cocktails on this Saturday night. I don't know if it's standard practice. From the looks of what would be the bar, I assume there is no liquor license. Many bottles of wine and limited beer options and no liquor bottles. The waiter said the owner doesn't serve cocktails tonight. ‍‍ The ice machine was broken. For the prices on menu items, there's no way that's acceptable. They could have brought in bags of ice, and we would have never known. We had no ice to go with our water and coke, and the beer was barely cool. Finally, we see bags of ice brought in and wasn't offered any. ‍‍ Tomahawk steak medium well was good, but I needed a little more seasoning. Mash potatoes tasted like freshly smashed potatoes and needed a little salt and butter, and the oyster mushrooms were a bit chewy with a charred taste. 3 Lamb chops were serves medium rare so it was requested to be well done then it was good, the spinach was bitter with no flavor and the rice tasted old as it was leftovers from previous day or days. Rice didn't taste freshly cooked at all. Bone in Ribeye medium rare was good with a Cesar salad that tasted strange. The Cesar dressing tasted like a blue cheese mixed with ranch and a vinegar. I don't know it just wasn't a good Ceasars dressing, and it was iceberg lettuce, not romaine. Overall, they prepared good steaks and good lamb chops, but they need to step it up on the sides. For the price of steak, they need to give a better portion and more than 3 lamb chops. For the quality of food it's an overpriced restaurant. Though the digital menu is up with technology, it's not truly functional. It's not user-friendly for older persons, and it had a glitch. They should consider a QR code. Overall, the ambiance is nice. The food was ok but overpriced. Stop in to support a small business. 1 issue I did have, the waiter didn't help us while ordering. My dad ordered rice with his lamb chops, not knowing that it came with rice, and the waiter said nothing. I was bothered, but 2 sides come with the steaks. My son didn't order any sides, so I requested that the rice be a side of my son's order. They corrected that with no problem. the spinach and the rice were removed from the bill. Customer service was decent.

I purchased bagels through the TooGoodToGo App on a last minute whim and almost regretted it when I…read moresaw that there was a long line to get into the JCC where this located. I was surprised that the wait in line wasn't that bad. There was a security guard who directed me around the parking lot instead of being able to go straight. My ID was checked and they asked that I put down my back window so they could see inside my car for security purposes. I wasn't aware that there was a graduation going on. I had never been to Bagel Boss so I didn't know where it was. I was concerned that there wouldn't be parking so I asked the security guard about it. He was very nice and told me that he didn't know if there would be parking since there was a graduation going on but said that if I couldn't find parking, I could pull up next to the building since I would only be a few minutes. Luckily, there were a couple of open spots. I had to present my ID again when I got inside. Once you get inside, Bagel Boss is to your right. They had shelves filled with bagels and a lady was filling the display case with muffins and cookies. They didn't have descriptions of the bagels so I'm guessing as to what I got: Pumpernickel, Everything, Plain, Cinnamon Raisin, Chocolate Chip, Sesame & Onion (2). When you order through the TooGoodToGo App, it's a surprise as what you will get. I got 9 bagels for a total of $6.41! The guy who helped me told me that I could wrap the bagels in Saran Wrap and put them in the freezer; then when I'm ready to have one, I can just pop it in the toaster. I would slice the bagels before freezing them. I had the Cinnamon Raisin Bagel the next day (after it had been in the freezer). After it was toasted, it was light and crispy. I can't wait to try the other flavors!

This Bagel Boss has been…read morethriving at this location for the last two years and provides fresh Kosher bagels, coffee and small sandwiches to the JCC members and the public. Well stocked wall of bagels including Plain, Whole Wheat, Everything, Pumpernickel, Blueberry, French Toast, Cinnamon Raisin and Sesame. The oversized bagels are well priced at $1.55 each or $17.00 a dozen. Online ordering is offered but in shop ordering was super quick with friendly chatty staff. The bagel dough is flown in from NY raw flash frozen and baked fresh ever morning by the bakers here in this little cafe. The Everything Bagel was super fresh tasting and well seasoned with a cream cheese spread. Starbucks coffee is offered at a self-serve drip machine with three different flavors which include Dark Roast Caffe Verona, Blonde Roast Veranda Blend and a Medium Roast Decaf Pike Place '71. The dark roast was strong and sweet. If you're not a bagel person they offer chocolate muffins or cookies as an optional treat. And for the occasional coffee snobs they have a few flavored teas from Teavana. We went to the cafe style seating area located just off the lobby that has several tables to enjoy our breakfast.

I understand that mistakes happen, but when we explained the error, she would not exchange the meal or correct the mistake. Good customer service means taking responsibility and making things right. Unfortunately, the service reflected a lack of training throughout our visit. When we arrived, the waitress was cutting pineapple and did not acknowledge us. When our soup was served, only one of the two soups was brought to the table. We also had to ask for utensils and napkins, and she appeared unable to distinguish between a soup bowl and a small plate. I've always enjoyed supporting this restaurant, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I hope management provides additional training and empowers their staff to resolve simple customer service issues. I want to see this restaurant succeed, but today's visit fell well below the standard I've come to expect.

Ordering online was easy, and pickup itself was quick and straightforward. However, when I got home, I realized that both tuna platters were missing the bagel chips--so essentially I paid $17 each for just two scoops of tuna. I called the restaurant and was told they were out of bagel chips. That explanation raised more questions than it answered. If an item is unavailable, why not notify the customer? A quick call, or even mentioning it at pickup, would have gone a long way. I would have happily substituted for a bagel or chosen something else. Instead, I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant. By that point, I was understandably frustrated, and the response at the counter didn't help--the staff seemed indifferent. They did replace the missing items with bagels, which I appreciate, but the overall experience was disappointing. I used to really enjoy Marian's under the previous ownership and was a regular customer. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, the quality of service seems to have declined. We decided to give it another try, but this experience confirmed that it's just not worth it anymore. Disappointing, because this used to be a go-to spot.
