A good counter service burger joint. The atmosphere is trendy and when they picked the chairs they picked style over comfort for sure. The prices reflect how trendy it is (a little more expensive than what it's worth. However if you are willing to pay an extra buck and sit on unco.fortable chairs, you do end up with a good juicy burger and amazing fries. The fries are my favorite, hand cut and served hot. Madison Nelson was the name the manager gave me at Burgerfi and I will be verifying that as this review and experience is far from going away. I just want to share this as the only thing burgerfi has any good is fountain drinks and fries. Read the review as I wanted to share the fiasco. Update Burgerfi has gone so far down hill with the quality and portion of the burgers and sandwiches. The burgers have gotten smaller and the chef/manager named Madison was doing a very poor job cooking. We used to frequent Burgerfi. We ordered double burgerfi burgers on lettuce and added a fried egg. They gave me a burger on a bun and I tried to eat it and it was overcooked and the egg was tough and has gristle from the grill on it. I went back up after trying to choke down the horrible very small burger patty or overcooked meat and egg. The guy at the counter was very nice and went back to the manager/poor cook Madison and was going to make it over and I had eaten 1/3 of it and could not choke anymore down and wanted a better cooked serving on the original lettuce wrap I ordered. The manager told the counter help who was so nice he would just put iit on lettuce and I could have that or they can just charge me for another buger with egg. I've had BurgerFi years ago before I was ever yelp-ing and I didn't like it too much. A friend invited us out Saturday night and I decided to give them another try. Again, disappointed. I ordered a cheeseburger and the meat was kinda dry. It didn't taste bad but it was not a good burger either. I had the urban fried because they actually looked really good from some pictures I saw on yelp. The fries come topped with mayo, Parmesan cheese, and some herbs (oregano, maybe something else). There was a little too much oregano for my taste so the fries really just tasted "herb-y" too me. My husband had the breakfast burger and he said he liked it. I smelled it (I smell all my food lol), and it didn't really appeal to me to actually try it. The service was really good though. We were a large group and the person taking our order was really nice and patient throughout the ordering. She and another worker checked in with us a couple times after the food arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. read more

I ordered at 11:55am and was initially notified it would be ready at 12:11pm, but then got a follow up message informing me that my order would be ready for pickup at 12:24pm; I little longer than I thought it would take, but I thought maybe they were really busy, so no worries. I was notified that my order was ready at 12:24pm and arrived at 12:26pm to pick it up. Everything was lukewarm. Pretty disappointing for the $60+ cost for 4 burgers and 1 family fries. There was one other customer in the shop when I arrived, and my order was the only online order, so the place wasn't busy at all. I would say all of the upscale burger chains do a good job of providing freshly ground beef patty's with standard or custom toppings. Shake Shack, 5 Guys, Fudruckers etc even a sports bars like Duffy's makes really great burgers. What's not to like about 100% fresh ground beef cooked up one way or another and put into a bun. Add condiments and toppings and you have yourself a beautiful sandwich. With the proliferation of these "gourmet" burger restaraunts its easy to see why one would bypass McDonalds, Wendys and Burger King and pay a couple of bucks more for a much higher quality meal. Burger Fi is one such upscale burger chain with many locations scattered around Palm Beach County now. I was impressed a couple years back with the across the beach store in Delray. At the time my nephew raved it was the best burger he had ever had in his 19 yr old life. I wasn't writing much then so I kind of forgot about it so when a friend said lets meet at this Wellington location for lunch yesterday I was all for it. I'm glad I went. I got the Conflicted burger which is a beef patty and a veg patty with American and cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and thier sauce. I figured I would cut the caloric load a bit with the veg slant. It was a melt in the mouth meal and I could still get up from the table and walk. My buddy got the Bacon cheeseburger and he could barely finish it. We split a small fry and it was plenty. The fries were delicious too hand cut hot and crispy. At 25 bucks with drinks, not cheap for lunch but it satisfies the burger craving for awhile and anyways he paid so that was cool. read more

I waited a while to order because one of the counter cashiers kept working on a beer spout that was broken and never took my order. After five to seven minutes she looked up and said, "Did you order?" Well, no... You never took my order and no one else was up front at that time. This place is great. I love the gluten free buns and lettuce wrap options. The angus is delicious as is the waygu. Their meat is all better quality too which is important to us. That's why you're seeing a slightly higher price point.. but honestly it's not expensive for what you get. I shop for clean and good quality and it's pretty close in pricing.. plus they cook it for you so I'd say it's great value for those reasons. We usually order via Postmates and they deliver them perfectly. The fries however, no matter where you order from, get soggy in the bag when ordered from Postmates. We just went in for the first time today and the service was pretty awful.. I was friendly and I'm a people person, smiling a lot and they just gave the most full attitude and flat energy. Then the way they talked to each other was even pretty rude. I was kinda disappointed about that. The ambiance was nice and rustic. Clean. Just wish it was more warm and welcoming from the employees. Now the food: the food is very very good. The onion rings are just too greasy for me and I do like my fries hotter than what I have had. Now note- I did not get either of those items this time, but I've eaten here probably 4 times since they opened. Shakes are great and so is the custard. Vegifi burger is my favorite. Hubby loves the CEO. It just isn't worth me going there and spending $20.00 on 2 burgers and nothing else. I'm sorry burgerfi. I really want to give you higher ratings. The burger and onion rings are excellent. The freestyle machine is a plus here, I can make Diet Peach soda which for some reason doesn't exist. The quality is definitely there. The lowered rating is for the staff and the value. The staff was smoking in the parking lot, they were unfriendly, and the bathroom was filthy. The prices are too high for me to come back, I can eat at an outstanding restaurant for almost the same price. It was nearly $50.00 for my family of four. This restaurant is right up the street from my house so it was always a good choice for a good, quick dinner. Tonight, a Saturday I went into the restaurant just prior to 6, as per my receipt, to place my order, two kids cheeseburger meals with ketchup only on the burgers. At 630 I finally got my food. I was not particularly happy, they had a sign stating that there would be delays due to staffing issues, but there were tons of employees bumping into each other. What really shocked me was from the customer after me, until I picked up my order, they told everyone who entered the restaurant to place an order that there was a 45 minute wait so one by one, and there were lots of them, people left without placing an order. (maybe 15 or so people in total) When I got my order 30 minutes later I heard one of the guys ask the person at the grill how long the wait was and her reply was "there is not wait now". Obviously there are management issues and money is not important. I doubt I will be ordering again. read more

They ask you to do a tip and the only choices are 10, 15, or 20. The buttons below are the up down buttons so I hit the down button and it gives 20%? I was late to the BurgerFi train. I had heard my friends talking about it for a long time. First the one in Delray, then the one in Wellington. I stopped by with my two kids and gave it a whirl... First impressions - very neat, clean, well thought out. Choices are displayed in an easy to read/easy to find manner and man oh man - can you customize a burger here. The burger itself is delicious. Add bacon, cheese some Peter Luger steak sauce and I'm heading towards a cheeseburger nirvana. Fries were hot, well seasoned and delicious as well. The shakes were yummo and my crew (which can be very picky) loved the place. It's pricey - lunch for three was over $40 so it's not replacing fast food joints but it's really accomplishes what they set out to be- an upscale, gourmet burger. 5 stars on that! I was such a fan of the burger fi location at city place, so naturally I was excited when they announced a Wellington location. The Wellington location offers weekly specials from kids night to 2 for 1 on alcoholic beverages, so make sure to ask what the promotion is for the day. As far as drinks the restaurant offers the freestyle Coke machine, flavored lemonades, glass bottle sodas, beer and wine. For food, you can choose between burgers, hot dogs, onion rings and fries. While I agree that the burgers are on the smaller side, they have a great taste. The onions rings are huge so be warned--come in with an empty stomach when you order these babies with a burger. If you order fries I recommend them urban style, this has them sprinkled with herbs, parmesan cheese and garlic aoli sauce. If you still have room for dessert, you can get milkshakes or custard with a wide variety of toppings to choose from. Do yourself a favor and get a banana shake! read more

One of the finer burger joints in Wellington. BurgerFi is a good choice when you don't want to go through the drive-thru and settle for a less than stellar burger, but when you don't want to sit down and be waited on either. For someone that had been without food all day (gotta love getting blood work done at the doctor's!), I was craving nothing but a burger and milkshake and that's what I got. It took a good 10 minutes for my food to be ready as they were quite busy. Busy enough to not realize that they also put lettuce and tomato on my burger when I specifically asked them not to. This was my mistake because I didn't realize until I was at home about to eat. Bummer. Besides the high school workers being a bit sassy with each other behind the counter, the atmosphere of the place is always chill but upbeat. You know when your craving a really good burger so you come to BurgerFi cause you know they know good burgers well what a disappointment... i get home and so ready to eat. On the drive home all I thought about was my burger. We ordered 3 burgers 2 bacon singles and one double cheese and a large fry. The fries was the best thing of the whole meal. The patties were terribly over salted and dry. I asked for lettuce, tomato, onion (raw) on the double and only got lettuce. I don't eat red meat often but when i do i want something good. I'm so disappointed in BurgerFi! I usually go to the one downtown and have had good food however i was in Wellington and it was late didn't want to drive across town.
