This burgerfi is close to my house and I never really stopped in until today. I visited the altamonte springs location and had a great time, but it is a franchised type restaurant and service and quality varies with such. This location is inefficient at taking orders - literally there was a line of 30 people waiting to order and the manager didn't think about starting a new cashier up (there were extra employees around). I also had a social media coupon for $5 off. They gave me an extremely difficult time trying to redeem it - I obviously had the coupon in hand and they insisted they need to see my social media post again. Food quality is top notch because there is little variation due to great distribution by the Florida chain headquarters. With such, service quality is crucial to differentiate these locations. So I went to burger di a few days ago on my way home from work. I stopped in the complex for another reason but decided to try the restaurant and was disappointed. I ordered the 3 piece tenders and regular fries and I was kinda shocked that for all that I paid about 9-10 dollars. So after eating the meal I enjoyed it but realize that there smallest size of fries (regular fries) were quite a lot with 3 small tenders. After the tenders I had So much fries to eat that I was just annoyed and wondered why they don't have a smaller menu. The tenders were okay in taste and the fries were decent but that's just the issue. For so much it was just basic and that's the disappointment. If I were to return, it appears to me that they are famous for their burgers and that's about it. read more

The burgers are great. Flavor is by far much better that other fast foods, but it needs to improve in cleanliness. The possible lack of mature supervision contributes to not maintaining a clean restaurant (tables, floors, condiment stations, etc). Staff and patrons are nice as can be at this location. Came here because we we're tired of post-Hurricane leftovers. Being indoors for a couple of days before/after Hurricane Irma made us crave a good burger. Seems like a lot of other families were thinking the same exact thing. There's a steady flow of people making it through the doors. Good thing that there's ample seating, the AC works well, and the staff are all working together to get our food out in decent time. One drawback is that their custard machines are not working. It's probably a good thing I'm not packing on the calories with two desserts (yes two, don't judge me!). Second drawback is the cook forgot to salt the fries. I don't eat a lot of salt, so if I can taste the lack of salt, that means there's no salt at all. 4 stars for staff with a smile, great burgers, and fun design! I happened upon this burgerfi and although I prefer the Winter Park location (for it's location), this one was great! I ordered a veggie burger which is made with quinoa - yay! - and ordered it green-style. This means that instead of buns I got lettuce covering the burger. I have to say that I thought it would be a mess to eat, but actually with the wax paper sleeve is comes in the burger was not messy at all. And best of all- I didn't even miss the bun! Their special burgerfi sauce is deliciously tart and creamy, and the quinoa burger was a treat! Best of all, everywhere I looked there were smiling employees. My partner actually noticed this and we commented on what a difference it makes when employees look like they're treated well and enjoying the folks that come in the shop. Ordered 3 burgers, fries & onion rings. $50 order for extremely poor quality food. Placed the order online for pick up. Once home, found that the burgers were at the bottom of the bag, crushed... one burger was falling apart. Went to take a bite & greeted with pink raw meat! GROSS. The lettuce was so wilted you couldn't even bite through it. Fries were cold and soggy and tasted so undercooked. Called the store and asked to speak to a manager. The man on the phone said he was & we explained to him our disappointment and frustration with spending $50 for this food. No apology and asked to put us on hold. 5 min later, another man gets on the phone and says his name is "Josh". Explained again our frustration and asked for a refund. No apology what's so ever & all he said was to bring the product back... then we can get a refund. Having somewhere to be, we were unable to make the drive all the way back to the store. Josh was not helpful at all and was rude the moment he picked up the phone. HORRIBLE customer service, RAW crappy food & STUPIDLY high prices. I will never eat here again. I got the CEO burger which sounded amazing, Wagyu and Brisket blend with homemade bacon tomato jam, truffle aioli and cheese. However I found the burger to very bland. I didn't taste any truffle at all. The bacon tomato jam was good but not enough to make the burger flavorful. It wasn't the worst burger I've had and I appreciate the healthy aspects but I just wish the burger party itself was seasoned. read more

My first experience with BurgerFi was several years ago at the location in Winter Park. I really enjoyed it and the other day I was on this side of town and decided to check out this location. The first problem is there isn't as much parking as I would like in this complex, but I was able to parallel park a few businesses away. I went inside and perused the menu. I really remember having the most incredible peanut butter milkshake when I went to the Winter Park location. I was very sad to see that was not an option here. I don't know if it was a special when I went before or if different locations have different options, but I really wanted a milkshake so I was super bummed that they did not have peanut butter cause that was what I was psyched up for. Nonetheless I proceeded to order my burger. Just a single cheeseburger was $5.96! This seems very steep! I wouldn't think this was expensive at Disney, or at a location with a server, but at a casual counter service restaurant it seemed very high. That being said my burger was delicious and I don't know what it is about their pickles, but they are outstanding. Good was good when I finally got someone's attention to hand me my ToGo order. 3 times I was passed by even though I was the only one standing at the pick up area. Finally had to cut in front of a person walking to the cashier to place an order and ask for my order. Young kids know nothing of customer service today. No respect for the job. Absolutely terrible service. They had many people cooking and working the front along with a manager on-site and the service absolutely failed. I had to demand my food or money back for an order of 3 chicken tenders. They hand you a pager for your food and none of them were being used. Everyone had to come in and ask about their order. I absolutely love BurgerFi. These are some of the best burgers I've ever had, which is why I frequent the restaurant. The Grove location is the nicest, cleanest location I've ever been to! The reason for the 4-star rating, however, is: 1- the food is more expensive than it is at other locations for some reason (its already pretty expensive for a burger), and 2- the parking at The Grove location is absolutely ridiculous! I also just want to say that I wish there were more BurgerFi locations. I lived in Tallahassee where there was only ONE BurgerFi and now I live in Orlando and the nearest one is like 3 miles away in Windermere (I live JUST outside of Windermere). EDIT- replying to the reply: Regarding my first point about the price, I was not talking about BurgerFi compared to other places that you can get a burger at. If I didn't care about quality, I'd just go to McDonald and get a burger for $1 or $2. The pricing at different BurgerFi locations is inconsistent. I used to frequent the Tallahassee location when I was in law school (literally just a few months ago) and for $10 every Thursday I could get a burger, fries, and a beer or soda for $10. I went to BurgerFi at The Grove location in Windermere, which is the closest location to where I live now, and I got the BurgerFi burger and fry "deal" and it was $12. I ordered the Burgerfi cheeseburger. It was a double with American cheese. The menu stated this Burger comes with lettuce and tomato but not so. The hamburger came out plain. It was good but a little well done. My daughter ordered the Breakfast All Day Burger. It is a double burger with American cheese, bacon, maple syrup, fried egg, hash browns and grilled onions. She loved it. All of the flavors compliment each other and the combination is perfect. The french fries were cooked perfectly. They were hot and crunchy on the outside and soft in the center. High priced for burgers and definitely not my "go-to" when I want meat on a bun and fried taters on the side, but they do serve a good selection of brews, so there's a plus! Their menu was very limited as far as options for guests who might not eat red meat. Went in after 8 on a weeknight when it wasn't too crowded- ordered a regular burger and the fry and cry (onions and fries) to go and my order was up in no time! The Angus beef burger was cooked well done as requested yet very juicy. The real star of the show for me was the batch of french fries!!!! I could NOT stop eating them, they are cut fresh and still have skin on some pieces-don't know what oil or seasoning they use but three hours later my husband came home and devoured them cold exclaiming how delicious they were and he is super picky, too. As for the onion rings, they are yummy, too! I rank Burger Fi second to Burger 21 which has much better menu with lots more options for vegetarians and people who don't eat red meat-and killer onion rings AND shakes, ice cream and beer, too! read more

We got our large fry out to us within 5 minutes which is good. But I waited around 20-30 minutes for my milkshake. We went up to ask about it and I think that they forgot all about my milkshake. Once I got my milkshake it was very good, no complaints about it. They were very apologetic which was nice. I think BURGERFI has the best "chain" burgers you can get in Central Florida. There I said it. And sure, nothing will beat the classic chargrill flavor of a Whopper or the classic taste of a Quarter Pounder, but if you DARE spend more than $5 on a single burger, I hope you go to BURGERFI and not the equally-priced competitors, because you'll simply get a better burger out of it. My favorite burger of all time is the Breakfast All Day burger. Bacon, maple syrup, fried egg, hash brown, grilled onions. I mean, as a lover of breakfast in non-breakfast times of the day, this is just pure heaven to me. Otherwise, all burgers are classified Angus and natural. They use peanut oil (so allergy-prone folks beware), their beef is never frozen and is free of antibiotics and hormones - which gives them a SUPER FRESH flavor. They also have vegetarian options for those with dietary preferences/restrictions, but I can't say I've ever had one, so I'm not sure how it tastes. Their hand-cut fries and onion rings (read MASSIVE onion rings) are amazing. One day, I will try the shakes and the hot dogs and I will update this review to include them. BurgerFi - this new Windermere location is a welcome sight for those of us tired of traveling all around Orlando to get a decent burger. If you are looking for a great tasting burger made with high quality beef then look no further. BurgerFi has more than got your covered. The cheeseburger and brisket burgers are both good. Not as much seasoning as I am used to, but still packing a good bit of flavor. But you can certainly tell the quality of the beef in every bite. The fries and onion rings were also good, but I do caution that a large fry was more than enough for two people on both of my visits. Other quick thoughts. - The prices are a bit high for a burger joint, but not out of this world. - The service was friendly and fast. - The crowds have been light thus far, but I suspect that few people know the place is opened at this point and that will change. I haven't gone to burgerfi for a long time, used to go to the winter park location, now that I realized there is one closed by I figure time to get some burger. We got there, place is not too busy, we got in line and ordered, the CEO, breakfast all day, bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, and kids meal. Total was over $50. I was excited since I remembered how amazing their burgers were. Unfortunately, this location is not even closed to the standards, the burger was over cooked. The fries was burnt, and service was slow and they got upset when we want to change the fries and they told us "it's like that because of the oil they used to cook it" now I am worry about old dark oil that have not been change.
