We stopped by this place because we thought it was actually another place! Whoops. We asked to sit out in the patio and it appeared to be the happenin' spot at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the food. We had the Hawaiian burger with steak fries, the chicken tacos and a small side of beer battered fries. The fries were the best part. The food lacked seasoning. Super annoying that I had to keep salting almost every bite. I appreciate letting people season to their taste, but this went too far. The Mexican dish did not taste fresh. I've driven by this place so many times and had never stopped by, until tonight. As soon as we walked in and we were seated. Waitress was super attentive and tended to us right away. I live that their menu has so many different options, I was in the mood for your not so typical burger. I got myself a shrimp burger... it was so good! They bring you a tray with all sorts of condiments, loved that too! One of the coolest features were the little mini tvs and every table, that was something I had never seen before. Came here on a Monday afternoon for lunch and was very impressed on how good everything was. My sister and her MIL split a burger, and I split the Cobb sandwich with my Mom, and we had a basket of fries to start and everything was delicious!! My mom and I were even impressed with their margarita, which was on special for it being a Monday, it was really good. Service was great, they had tons of specials, for each day, and happy hour. Tried this place for the first time. Everything was good. The only issue I had was with the Cobb salad. The tomatoes were over powering and kind of mushy. :/. Otherwise, the cucumber chalupas were delicious and refreshing. My daughter got the hot cheetoes boneless wings and loved it. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger and said it was delicious. He finished it. My other daughter got the chicken tenders with fries and she loved it. Left one but her dad finished it lol. He also said they were really tasty. Then the end we got the to die for chocolate cake which my girls loved it! My husband ate some too and it was gone at the end. Ever so very seldom do I come here. Usually to meet my bro-in-law while the wives are shopping at the mall. I've never had anything that was wrong, or needing complaining about; other than noticing the Charger flag out front when walking in . . . then wait, an Oregon Ducks flag was quickly hoisted to signify ownership of the game day rivalry. This place is not anything of a go-to place for me because I am not a sports fan and don't frequent sports bars just because of the food, but this place takes its food and beverage service seriously. While not the darned best food around, the food is very creative; and let's not stop there, as the service seemed top notch from the bartender in that area this go around. Super friendly and super efficient. We waited for nothing. The Chief McGinley Burger was good. Don't be afraid because it has apples and it really lacked any positively noticeable flavors. We also had the "Aspirins" sopas and the stuffed Cucumber Chalupas that are different. The fries and onion rings were also plentiful and tasty. Horrible service this restaurant is really going downhill the owner Carlos needs to replace their management team managers Damian and Becka are rude and have no clue what good customer service is. Convinced my family to drive to Temecula from Vista, CA after church to Burger and Beer since my son n law was craving a burger early got around 1pm. I tried calling to reserve a table and was told they didn't take reservations so when we got there it was 7 of us, I was told it was going to be a 45 minute wait it was verily 1pm. I spotted a table empty towards the back and was told that one stays "reserved" for a big party but we there was 7 of us and I was bit confused since I was told you couldn't reserve a table. The waitress said maybe I could talk to the manager so a lady by the name of Becka came she had such a bad attitude and was not very accommodating at all and when I asked for her manager she says d it was Damian which I saw her taking to when I asked to speak to him she said " he said he didn't have time to come talk to me he was to busy" she just walked away. I can tell you that this customer service was never allowed or acceptable by Mr Hanold the founder of this restaurant in El Centro or his son Carlos. I was shocked and disappointed so we went across the street by the mall where we were greeted and seated right way. We consumed close to $200 dollars in some yummy food that we were planning to consume at burgers and beer and a friend said that table was still empty when they got there at 2:30. That's to bad that none of these managers know what a successful restaurant should look like. If they don't change their ways this will be a restaurant going out of business pretty soon in Temecula. First time trying this place for a date night and it was kinda cool! Atmosphere was totally for sports. Tvs everywhere and you actually have a TV at your booth! Service was alright, it was a busy night so I'm not going to knock any star off of it. The food is where I knocked off stars. The slick dip tasted like melted cheese with Spanich and tomato. And my fries came with a side of burger. The curly fries were unseasoned. The burger was super sweet so depending on your taste you will like it or not. Philly cheesesteak was almost worth ordering but the meat is not seasoned at all and doesn't come with any complimenting sauce. Skip out on the $5 drinks because they taste like water. I will say the potato skins are some of the best we've had. Red hot sandwich is too big for the small piece of chicken they give you. You know, I must admit something to start this review. I assumed Burgers and Beer was going to be a bar heavy design with an emphasis on alcohol and a lack of attention to the food. Now I'll confess - I could not have been more wrong! Of course the beer selection is impressive and they have a ton available on tap but the food was a big surprise for me. Took my wife and son for lunch today (decided to give it a try) and we were all impressed. Let's start with the fries - I got steak fries well done and they were amazing. Crispier than Red Robin's steak fries and still piping hot in the middle. My son ordered the skinny fries well done and they were cooked to a perfect golden yellow and delicious! We all got burgers (though I was surprised to see so many other options on the menu!). Son and I both got bacon cheeseburgers, I added BBQ sauce to mine. The patties were thick and juicy with a great grill flavor. The bacon was crispy but not overdone. The BBQ sauce was the perfect topper for mine. My wife ordered a regular cheeseburger with cheddar and enjoyed it as well. We sat on the patio (thanks COVID) and even with 50 degree temps the heaters kept us plenty comfortable during our wait and meal. Side note - we tried the Hot Cheeto Mozzarella Balls - I like them a lot, son and wife didn't care for them - more for me I guess! Hostess and wait staff were friendly and attentive.
