This was my husband and I's first time to Burgerville, and I have to say it was a disappointment. We requested no Mayo and no tomato and it seems like they put extra of both, making the burgers very soggy. There were no napkins given to us, now we have stains on clothes, and I ran through my whole car supply of extra napkins. The strawberry milkshake was great but the chai milkshake on the other had was SPICY . The garlic aioli sauce was chunky and didn't look good. I did try it though and it was tasty. Never in my life have I written a review but man, whoever made my Northwest Cheeseburger with no tomato no pickle at 1:11pm on October 24th deserves praise. Never through my life's venture have my eyes descended upon such a well crafted Cheeseburger. It's perfectly level bottom bun with no sog, the perfect amount of sauce to deter said buns soggification. The life force of every cow leading up to this singular patty. The perfectly ripe lettuce bursting with juices birthed through the accretion of Earth across Eons, perfectly placed in the center of the Cheeseburger, not too little, not too much hanging from every side. I believe two things descended to that Burgerville today. First, a god. As figured, I never laid eyes on the God that crafted me this Cheeseburger. This seasonal grass fed burger looks tiny because of its little brioche bun, but this it's the best burger I have had since this pandemic started, and that's going up against my own. Hubby loved the Vampire Slayer burger because of the cloves of roasted garlic. The drive thru is busy. The first window takes your (dirty) cards and money and the second window gives you your food. Shared some Walla Walla onion rings with a friend. He also had a burger. I love their concept and dedication to locally sourced foods. The onion rings were pretty okay. They were definitely very large, but my friend and I were pretty satiated after 1. We both loved all the dipping sauce options. The Ranch was fairly tasty, but I found the Chipotle Mayo to be sort of plain. He found the burger to be fairly normal. I definitely think it's a great fast food option for the area, but I don't think it's something I'll crave regularly. read more

I was so grateful for this place being here. In the middle of a very long work day, my wife and I were able to stop for a bite to ear. Fresh, wholesome, local food, and prepared very efficiently. I've tried all their shakes at this point and they are to die for. If you're Catholic, or Anglican, they have some of the best fish and chips and fish sandwiches, which makes them an ideal stop on Fridays. One of the last places to get a cheeseburger, fries and coke for $10.00!! The guy behind the counter reminds me of a tattooist. He is calm and patient. He's cooking the burgers too. I was out at the nearby dispensary herba, and I was hungry. I saw there's so much food nearby, but this was close. I walked in, walked up, he took my order and paid, I grabbed my number and poured my coke, sat down, and the guy was already walking over with my burger and fries! Looks like 5 4 person booths, 5 small tables, 1 large round table, a counter with stools and 10 2 person booths with 10 2 person tables. Yes, Burgerville is pricier than other fast food joints, but it's also classier than other fast food joints. A lot of their produce comes from local farmers, and their food is far less greasy than your average fast food offerings. I had the bacon cheeseburger and it was deliciously satisfying without feeling like I just ate a heart attack. You can taste the difference in quality from the first bite. Chocolate hazelnut shake is to die for. 'Nuff said. The asparagus spears are quite delicious as well, lightly fried in something like tempura batter, but not the best deal as there are only 5 in an order. I've given this location multiple opportunities to impress even on a fast food level and they have come up short. In general the interior feels like it could be cleaner, but that could be owing more to location and some of the lingering clientele, but they could still make an effort to improve. More critically, I have yet to receive an entirely correct order. My receipts read correctly but what comes in the bag has been varying degrees of incorrect. Most recently I ultimately called and spoke to the manager (who did graciously and without argument offer me another meal if I return) because what came in our bag was so unsatisfyingly different than what we ordered. this is one of my less favorite Burgerville's the food is still good but they need to do something with the layout. it feels to institutional to me. Big open and plain and usually not that busy. Interior two stars because its always clean. On the plus side, good food (especially some of the seasonal items, The chocolate hazelnut shake, the Walla Walla onion rings and Strawberry shortcakes stand out for me. I kind of miss In-n-Out now that I'm living in Portland. I say "kind of" because I grew up in the Bay Area and In-n-Out was a Southern California thing so I didn't start eating it until locations starting popping up around my area during the mid 90s. Anyway, I think this burger joint is probably the closest thing to eating at In-n-Out in terms of taste and quality. It's not big worldwide company fast food like McD's or BK which is something that I appreciate. While it doesn't taste exactly like In-n-Out, it still tastes pretty good. I had the Tillamook cheeseburger and fries and tried some of the onion rings (which were huge, by the way). PS: this location had friendly service all around. I love Burgerville! In my opinion, the plain old cheeseburger's are the best. I would take it hands down over In and Out anyday. I only mention that because so many reviews below mine compare the two as if they are the same thing. I like In and Out for what it is..but if I had to choose one over the other? Burgerville is the Pacific Northwest's take at fast food. Turning the genre on its head, Burgerville offers locally grown or raised ingredients and hormone free, cage free everything.
