Had my first burgerville experience this week to finally compare them with the big dogs. I would say that the taste was good. I thought their sweet onion grass fed burger was solid but very small in comparison to competitors. My favorite item was their giant onion rings even if it is overpriced (it's like $1.50 per ring). The fries were a disappointment and their shakes are disgustingly sweet. They have interesting drinks with apparently local fruit like Marionberry but they are also too sweet. After the meal I felt quite regretful and it felt like I just ate 4000 calories. Also it's much more expensive than places like the Habit or Inn N Out, and priced more like Shake Shack and 5 Guys, yet they don't match in overall quality and portions. So overall I was not impressed. I understand their model of using local food would be more expensive but the product wasn't worth it. read more

So unfortunate.. I RARELY go to fast food but stopped for take out.. it was done so fast , too fast for Burgerville, typically they seem to take longer to make food. I really want to give this place five stars because the food is genuinely excellent. The burgers are delicious, and the Bliss dairy-free shakes are amazing--especially for me since I'm lactose intolerant. They're honestly perfect. The problem is consistency with orders. Of the several times I've eaten here, I think only once has my order been completely correct. I've had to start going inside instead of using the drive-through just to double-check before leaving, because something is almost always off. One time I ordered a regular coffee shake online and received a marionberry one instead. While it tasted great, I had just had major surgery and couldn't have seeds--so what might seem like a small mistake actually became a big deal. To their credit, management did refund me for that mistake, which I appreciated. I've also had sides mixed up (like fries vs. fried pickles), which makes me think it's not just my orders--it must be happening to a lot of customers. It feels like the team is either moving too fast or not paying close enough attention to the tickets. In a fast-paced environment I understand mistakes happen, but this level of repeated errors points to poor management or insufficient training. Service sure it's good... First time trying Burgerville uhm large fries? The box was basically empty maybe if the fries actually came packed in the box sure but the fries tasted like they were reheated the old fries we ordered the waffle Cajun fries and the bacon sliders for the amount of money we paid I would think the food would be better $17 for stale fries maybe a quarter of the box was filled. The burger cheese wasn't even melted and patty and bread were rubber like. Hopefully this is a location problem. I will give it another try at a different location. I accidentally clicked on this location for a mobile order which brought me all the way out here. I dined in because it's so far away from The Walla Walla Onion Rings are amazing and can be found on the seasonal menu. The Marionberry Lemonade is delicious The Drive thru snakes around the parking lot allowing for longer lines, yet still allowing for plenty of parking. There's a couple of trendy tables and chairs at the front windows which offset the otherwise boring decor of orange chairs with brown tables. It's relatively dark inside. The beverage machines block light coming in from the windows. There's only 3 tables with direct sunlight. I much prefer the classic Burgerville decor with white tiles and retro booths and tables. read more

My husband and I ate here last night. We specifically went because I was eager to try the Braised Short Rib Sandwich. It was DELICIOUS! I also ordered the Rosemary Fries with the side of Chipotle Mayo. YUM! The sandwich and the fries were perfect together. My husband ordered the Halibut Fish n'Chips dinner - a favorite of his. The service was good, and the food came fairly quickly. It's important to add that the premises - including the restroom - were very clean. We came through today and once we got home, I noticed that the chicken strips were different and we always love them but they weren't as soft and tender as normal and these were obviously a different brand. I generally won't give a fast food joint a review but this time is different. I've been here before for their great seasonal shakes - for instance the Oregon Strawberry shake. On the other hand I stay away from their burgers. Today I paid over $20 for two shakes, asparagus fries and a Hopyard Cheddar burger. The shakes were not thick, as before, and without the whip cream topping - and very few pieces of real strawberries. When I asked Courtney - at the drive-through window - about the missing whip cream, she wanted to charge me a buck more! What!?!? I already was getting an expensive shake at $5.39 and now she wanted to charge even more. The burger was not that great, either. Burger King can outdo these guys for flavor. These are NOT true Burgerville burgers!!!!!! I've had many Burgerville burgers and these were definitely not the signature burgers and not even made with Tillamook cheese. This review is for THIS location. We just grabbed lunch from here. I had a No. 6 burger. I pulled it out of the bag and it was dripping and got all over the place. My bun was mushy on one side and so dry and borderline stale on the other. Everything was a greasy mess but dry tasting. I had to eat it minus the top bun and with quite a bit of ketchup. The burger was way under cooked as well. We will not be going back. The fries were good. I expect more for the price we paid. read more

Please change the oil in your fryers! I used to visit this location at least once a week but it's hit and miss when it comes to french fries and onion rings and the halibut sandwich. Sometimes you can taste that nasty rancid oil flavor that is absolutely horrible and very unhealthy. Yesterday afternoon about 2 or 3 PM was one of those days when the oil was very nasty. I quit coming every week and I've visited other locations which are much better but figured I'd try yesterday because I was hungry and in the area but once again they failed. I saved my receipt and both my son and I felt sick after trying to eat the halibut sandwich. I guess I should call management and let them know. Back in the 80's I came to Portland by way of Alaska and went to a B Ville - you know, the one that is still out on Canyon Road - and enjoyed a huge bag of tasty fries for cheap, plus a halfway decent burger and a fun attitude. I left Oregon and came back in the early 2000's and went to B Ville and it was not quite as good as I remembered, but they had interesting seasonal items and a nice vintage soda fountain feeling. In the last few years my less frequent visits to B Ville have to do with quality, size and pricing. They are hit and miss on quality, stores aren't as 'fresh' and prices are on the high side, when the quality isn't always high side. FForward to this year (2012). I have gone to my new Tigard Burgerville (3 times) to see how they're doing. This is a brand new store and it does have a much trendier and fresher feel than the others. I appreciate that. On the negative side, the location has some issues with parking as it there is a bunch of confusing arrows that require you to drive on the wrong side in order to navigate their parking lot. 1st visit we ordered two fruit shakes & paid (somewhere near $5 each)!! We then sat down and checked the twitter feed/display (it's kinda neat - once). We counted at least 6 employees in this shoe box sized store! That was super weird. Given all the help it sure seemed like a very long wait for a couple of shakes. They did bring them to our tables. And then we tucked in. Guess what? They were absolutely amazingly average. Not that much fresh fruit taste, not that creamy and not that generous of a size given the price. Days go by, I bring my son (before was hubby) and we have a couple of shakes and an order of Walla Walla onion rings. Same thing - slow to arrive, average, spendy and the onion rings weren't as good as many other places that my son and I have had lately (see Blitz on 99W - tasty and tons of them) and they are just stingy with them. Gee, how much do you charge for 3 onion rings? And breading? Is it that hard to make a fresh onion ring???? You should be ashamed of yourselves. So, third visit rolls around and this time I go for the tiny sundae thingy and my hubby gets a burger. Blah and blah. Ordered burgers and fries and drinks for two at 7:28 this evening. Order was supposed to be ready at 7:34. Download the FlyBuy app so I could let them know when I was here. Turns out they gave our order to somebody else in the car next to me about 10 minutes ago. After moving to King City in October of 2021, we eagerly awaited the opening of the Burgerville in Tigard on Pacific Highway. We have been fans of Burgerville for many years, despite the slightly higher prices. Tonight we were utterly disappointed at the service we received. My wife has a severe tomato allergy; as she explained that to the counter person, she received nothing but a blank stare. When she tried to get the manager's attention to make sure her concern had been heard, she received a curt "I'm handling it." in reply. We try to support local businesses, but with the attitudes and service levels described above, we cannot justify patronizing this location again. George Propstra would not be happy. read more
