Honestly this place looked like it was closing? it's super dark from the outside and we couldn't tell until we got into the parking lot that we could see people inside. Even after going in, the lights over the menu were turned off. Service was the main drawback to be honest, since the lady who met us at the counter was super blunt and unfriendly. Food was ok, nothing crazy, but nothing disappointing either. I got a turkey burger with waffle fries and my wife got a regular cheese burger. The turkey burger was not dry and it tasted decent. Now that all fast food restaurants are charging more, there's no reason not to choose Burgerville. It costs the same as eating at other places with a drive thru but the quality is so, so good. I don't even bother with other fast food places because their food is just cheap garbage. Burgerville's food is packed with flavor, and it's actually real food instead of bottom barrel science experiments. The grass fed burger patty is make-you-want-to-cry good. The sauces are so explosive in awesome flavor that I had to save the leftover sauce to eat later with other food- can't waste the stuff, it's so satisfying. The truffle waffley fries are delicious but more salt than I prefer. Otherwise super tasty and great texture- crispy exterior and fluffy inside. The fudge sundae has light and airy whipped cream and the chocolate sprinkles give a satisfying crunch; the ice cream is rich and flavorful; the fudge sauce was more bitter than I expected and I would class it as bitter dark chocolate. I personally would have liked it better if it had been sweeter. Overall, you will not regret choosing to eat here. read more

I am always happy when strawberry lemonade season comes around. Today I tried the new fried cheese curds. They apparently have a honey abobo powder on them. Thankfully it gave them flavor but not heat. They had a nice crisp shell and the flavor mixed well with the cheese. First time at a Burgerville and won't be our last. Excellent, fresh ingredients for their burgers and the bun is nicely heated and soft. Meat is grass fed and expertly grilled and just a hint of pink. Lettuce was crispy and tomatoes were firm and not overripe. Fries were quite good as well. The strawberry shake we ordered had chunks of real strawberry but a smooth, creamy texture. Overall, I'm impressed and glad I took a friend's advice to finally try this place. read more

I usually don't have issues when I do an online order for curbside pickup but I don't know why my order took forever tonight. There's no reason it should have over 20 mins for my small order of a shake, a regular fry and a burger. They weren't even busy. I sat at the curbside pickup waiting and watching and only saw 2 cars go through the drive-through as I was pulling up to park. While I sat there and waited, I watched an employee go in from break, another employee go out for break and a third employee sit at the window on break cuz he sat right in front of where I was sitting and waiting for my order. I'm almost positive they weren't paying attention to when I checked in for my order because by the time I finally got my food, my shake was melted and my fries were cold. I believe the only reason I finally got my order is because the employee sweeping the floor saw me sitting there and I watched her go grab my food and come out to tell me "sorry, the computers aren't working"... which I do not believe she was telling the truth. I went to this location for my first time. I had the opportunity to be greeted by JESS. Super nice. So welcoming. She even upsold me on a shake it is absolutely amazing. Hazelnut chocolate. I'll be back in the morning for the biscuits and gravy. It is a bit pricey for a burger but I had a great experience. The fries are better than 5 guys hot and seasoned the way I like. First time in area - looked interesting so walked in for a take out order. My first sense was the place had an odd smell. Order board was behind counter - being an older person, it was a little difficult to read so I just quickly ordered a Colossal burger and a shake for take out. While I was waiting for my order a customer came up to the counter and was complaining about the food they ordered. The clerk said she would tell the cook.... It was a cheap option when I was a meat-eater (the original hamburger hovers at around $2, less than a dollar more if you want a cheeseburger), but now that I'm vegetarian, the only option I have is the vegi-bean burger, which is about $6-7. Not as good of a deal, but oh well. My friends were craving it today, so I tagged along. It tasted great though! I love their sauce options, especially the garlic aioli. I had never heard of Burgerville until my first trip to Oregon last week. I was informed this is a classic local chain that must be experienced. I was not disappointed! It kind of strikes me as a cross between In-n-Out and Wendy's--The same focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients In-n-Out has with a larger menu similar in scope to Wendy's. The Walla Walla Sweet Onion Rings are absurd--you can wear them as arm bangles if you want. They are 700+ calories for 3, and well worth the fat intake. The burgers are fresh and delicious, but it all comes down to the famed Burgerville sauce, which coats everything it touches with supreme deliciousness. I want to talk about the poor service and poor food on 2 recent visits (one happened last night 7/3, and the other happened this a.m., 7/4). Last night for dinner we ordered 3 bacon cheeseburgers with no mayonnaise, that is the only condiment on the burger, per the menu. The person helping me repeated my order correctly twice. We picked up the order which appeared to be correct, the receipt said no mayo too. Getting ready to enjoy our burgers, we noticed that all 3 burgers had ketchup on them! This is a problem because #1- my husband is allergic to the stuff, #2 I detest the stuff. I called Burgerville, talked to a manager, he said that he would refund me the cost of 1 burger and put the $ back on my bank card. I was happy with this gesture. The refund has not even posted as a pending transaction. We didn't know this info. about the charge not even pending yet. We were out and about and stopped by the same Burgerville and ordered crunch biscuits, 2 with meat, 1 no meat, all no onions. The person again repeated our order correctly. We get home, ready to eat and there is A LOT of onions, and the sandwiches are practically dripping in grease, and the hash brown (the "crunch" in the crunch biscuit ) was a soggy, soft thing. Have always loved the Walla Walla Sweet Onion Rings and was excited to finally get some. They were very disappointing, however, I think it's because they're just not meant to be eaten outside of the restaurant. The dining room is still closed, so we had no option other than getting them to go. I think if we had eaten in the dining room, right out of the fryer, they'd be excellent. Alright it isn't too often that a fast food burger joint can get me to write a restaurant review, but if you're homesick for good greasy NorthWest food then you won't find a better place than this. This local chain of 39 restaurants that straddles the I-5 corridor from mid Oregon to mid Washington is an institution to NW values and waistlines. To their credit they seem good stewards of the environment (as much as a fast food place can be). They use only 100% natural Oregon raised beef (or you can substitute turkey or gardenburgers), Tillamook cheese, Willamette Valley strawberries and even buy 100% of their power from local wind power generators (I guess fish killing dams is less politically correct than bird killing windmills). read more
