I had the turkey burger and it was delicious and the sweet potato fries were just as good!! Theres definitely something for everyone to enjoy. Overall had an amazing time, and its location is perfect, right near so many great spots to enjoy downtown Asheville!

Split cod fillet sandwich (consisting of homemade slaw and signature Worx sauce) with fries, mustard and a choc chip cookie

Service and ambiance was pleasurable as usual, but what motivated me to show up this time around was the daily specials. On Fridays they have a fried split cod fillet sandwich topped with worx sauce and homemade slaw. Got that on a GF bun with fries and a chocolate chip cookie. Very enjoyable. Hero of the dish was the sandwich. The fish was cooked beautifully and the bread was nicely warmed. The slaw and the sauce, I thought, worked even better than shredded lettuce, chow chow, and tartar sauce. Fries were also delicious, cooked through and nicely salted, but not exactly crispy. The cookie had a crisp to it as well. Overall, though, coming here was no mistake.

Found staff very friendly & kind. This place was our first real meal sitting down from an all girls road trip to Asheville NC arrival 3pm from Indianapolis Indiana. Yes, it definitely took us way longer than necessary to figure out what to order. We wanted to incorporate our own Burgerworx Charcuterie Board, Hoosier style. No, the menu wasn't too complicated. Yes, we may have ordered at different times. Creating a Burgerworx Charcuterie Board masterpiece took us a HOT minute. We are simply mere novices in the Charcuterie world. Yes, a tada picture would've been perfect. However, I'm rather fond of using one's own mind in some matters...so, as the Hoosier now home...imagine away ;) . This establishment has an outside sitting area with filled water bowls for pets. The decor, well, someone once said a picture is worth a thousand words. Zoom in & maybe you'll enjoy a giggle or two. If or when you find yourself in Asheville, NC (USA) accidentally on purpose, strolling into Burgerworx may be fun filled as our adventure was on a regular old Friday afternoon before dinner activities began. Appreciated the gentleman who took our order & his patience with us. Your service is impeccable. Stay well & safe, Amy

Advertised as best fries in town and did not disappoint! perfect amount of salt, crispy outside and soft on the inside. Would recommend for a quick affordable snack anytime you're in asheville!

Yummy veggie burger. Great spot at The Grove. Fast and friendly service. Their own special sauce is the secret sauce that put this burger over the edge! A fun spot in downtown Asheville for a quick bite.

The perfect smash ( pickles, onions, Worx Sauce). A basket of fries served 3 in our party.

The Burgerworx is a classic restaurant business. They know what they excel at, compliment it with top flight ingredients and keep their offerings simple: perfectly executed smash burgers, with proprietary pickles, as well as, a proprietary save they call the Work Sauce. My perfect smash burger had these toppings: lettuce, onions, pickles and Worx Sauce. We ordered a basket of fries. It serve the three in our party perfectly. They three in my party each got a single smash burger and we split a basket of fries. Our bill was under $30 dollars. I love this place!!

On the plus side, the restaurant was incredibly easy to find and they actually have parking available, which is always a massive win when traveling. Once inside, we were seated at a high-top table, and our server was very pleasant throughout the meal. We started with the collard green and pimento cheese dip, which was supposed to come out hot in a skillet. Unfortunately, as I started dipping into the center, the middle of the dip was still cold. For mains, my husband ordered a chicken sandwich with a side of mac & cheese, and I went with the grilled cheese with candied bacon and tomato. Both of our sandwiches had the same issue: the tomato slices were cut incredibly thick--at least a half-inch. It made my husband's sandwich really hard to eat, to the point where he just took the tomato off and ate the chicken with a knife and fork. My grilled cheese was fine, but that massive tomato slice was just a bit much. As for the sides, my husband's mac & cheese was on the dry side. Mine wasn't dry, but it didn't really have a ton of flavor. I totally understand that the restaurant is trying to go for a fun, modern twist on southern classics, but for us, the execution fell a bit short. It was nice to try once while in town, but I'm not sure I'd visit again on a future trip to Asheville.

We went all out with appetizers and main courses, and everything was excellent. For starters, my husband ordered the buffalo chicken bites and I got the fried pickles. Both were perfectly prepared, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The burgers were the absolute highlight. I ordered the "Bacon Crunch" style Juicy Lucy, which came stuffed with cheese and topped with bacon jam, pickles, crisp bacon slices, and potato chips for a perfect crunch. My husband went for the "Lucy Loco" burger, which came loaded with jalapeños. Both burgers had incredible flavor, were an ample size, and hit the spot perfectly. The sides were just as impressive. I had the sweet potato fries, and my husband ordered the fried green beans--which were uniquely delicious and really well done. To top it all off, our server, Carla, was very nice and incredibly attentive throughout our meal. We ordered an appetizer that came out the same time as our food. That was the second indication that this was not the best. Then I found a hair in the fried pickles I was eating. I just sat it down and started on my steak. I ordered a ribeye medium. The steak ended up being cooked in evenly. Half was well done and the other half was rare. The steak was a cheap cut and mostly fat and gristle. The fries were cold too. We were sat near a family with inattentive parents with three kids, making the entire experience just that little bit extra. The waitress stoped by once about two minutes after all the food and apps came out and then one last time to give the check. So if you enjoy poor hygiene, a slow paced staff, bad food, and atmosphere that will make your blood boil, then Juicy Lucy's may be the perfect spot for you. However, if you have any standards, I'd suggest going elsewhere. Sincerely, I hope your team improves but I will not return to find out. The only positive was the one beer I tried was decent.

If I was rating this place on the taste of the burgers alone, it would hands down be 5 stars. These are simply the best fast food burgers that you've NEVER HAD. In other words, fast food burgers reimagined with all the taste you crave, but without the crap ingredients and weird bloaty aftereffects. These are fast food burgers the way they should be. That said, the prices reflect that. The burgers are good sized with two patties, but they run $12 for a beef smash burger or $14 if you opt for the Impossible Burger (which you can get with regular "freedom cheese" and sauce or with vegan cheese and sauce). They offer a "combo" for $3 more, but it's a bag of chips and sour patch gummy candy for dessert. Based on that, my recommendation for now is to just go with the burger and enjoy it on its own. If the owners see this review, here's my suggestion: invest in a really good fryer and do the same thing you've done with fast food burgers, but for french fries, too. I'm sure frying units are a pain with the cooking oil, extreme heat and all, but it would be so great to have the FULL fast food experience reimagined. Service was friendly. Multiple indoor and outside seating options, and you can take the burgers over to any of the areas of DayTrip to enjoy your burger with a beer or cocktail. DayTrip's beer menu even includes a [canned] beer called Boy Howdy that DSSOLVR produces to go along with the Boy Howdy burgers. That's a better combo! This place is so much better than most burger places that even with the relatively pricey burgers, I'll go back. I'd go back more often if they served really great french fries along with the burgers!
