The selection can be hit or miss, but you can usually find some good stuff if you're willing to dig. Prices are generally okay, but don't expect to find anything super unique or high-end. Staff is friendly enough, and the store is well-organized. Overall, it's a solid option if you're on a budget or just browsing. Nothing to rave about, but it's fine.

I was in the area so we decided to check it out. This store was a MESS! Merchandise everywhere, check out line with at least 20 people in it, it was crazy! Tried to give it a chance and browse, but the clothes and shoes were all mixed up and not sized. Left within 5 minutes.

This is one of the few places still open in the Chula Vista mall. It's sad to see mall fall apart with all the closed stores. I was surprised to see how clean and organized this BCF was. They have security at both entrances/exits. They also have sanitizing wipes and soap for you to use. I did see some empty shelves and less merchandise than before but this is normal for many stores. They had a great selection of cosmetics and ladies/ men's clothes. Prices are always very reasonable here. The escalator was down and being repaired so you had to use the elevator. There was a line most of the time when going up or down. Even though it was quite busy the lines moved pretty quickly and unlike other places they had plenty of employees to help. They even had help wanted sign so they are adding more employees as well. I hope they stay open at the mall, it's nice to have a discount store in the area.

This is probably my favorite Burlington around. This one is located in the Chula Vista Center off Broadway and H street (well I street is closer). This location has plenty of parking in their 2 story parking garage, shaded, electric stations available and entrance from upstairs or downstairs. Shaded and non-shaded parking. This location is staffed with security, dont be alarmed. This location has a vast majority of women's clothes! Definitely browse the clearance rack, alway a find or two! I normally get my Italian shoes (dressy) here as they are a fraction of the cost. The mens selection, is quite vast as well. Came here for specific clothing and was able to find some rather quickly. The downfall is the dressing room is not always open, not sure if it is because they are short staffed or just not allowing entrance... this last visit, it was open luckily. I came here quite early and 3 people in line in front of me were there early to do returns. Unfortunately they are so under staffed that the same person doing returns was also the only one checking out people too. About 10-15 minutes of waiting and someone going to speak with management (as it should be their main job to assist and help their employees) another cashier came on board in front. It did not appear to be a shortage of employees, but maybe shortage for those trained on the cash register? I waived between 3 and 4 stars because while the staff is apologic and friendly, they are slow and when the line is super long... expect a good 25 minute wait AT LEAST! This should be unacceptable for any manager, they should be jumping on the register to help out during rush hour, long lines... but instead you find 10 registers with 2 people working on them. In any event, this location is a must visit for every family members needs as well as bathroom essentials and kitchen Essentials.

My friends and I stopped by this Burlington on our way back home because we had to use the bathroom. Little did we know that the bathroom would be on the 2nd floor until I asked someone. After we found the bathroom, we were going to take the escalator down but it was broken so using the elevator would be the next option. There was a long line for just the 1 elevator they had so we walked out the door to go to the parking garage to use the steps there to go to the 1st level. I was able to walk around the store while looking for the bathroom. The place is organized and had tons of stuff but if you go to the 2nd floor then you'll get stuck.

I've been coming to the Chula Vista Center AMC for almost three years, and the escalators leading…read moreto the second-floor theater have been broken for nearly that entire time. At first only one side was out of service. Now neither escalator works, yet the same apology sign has been sitting there for years. What's even more frustrating is that the nearest regular staircase is gated off, forcing everyone to use the stationary escalator steps or walk towards the north side of the mall. Escalator steps are steeper, taller, and can be slippery, making them much more difficult to navigate, especially for seniors, people with mobility issues, and families with young children. Yes, there is an elevator, but it's farther inside the mall and not conveniently located for people simply trying to get to the AMC. I see people struggling on these stairs every time I visit. What I don't understand is how the mall continues investing in new development while neglecting basic infrastructure that's already there. New restaurants and new construction are exciting, but before expanding even further, Chula Vista Center should invest in maintaining the property people already use every day. Functional escalators to one of the mall's biggest attractions shouldn't be a luxury. Three years is an unreasonable amount of time to leave both escalators out of service. If repairing them isn't possible, then at the very least open the regular staircase on the south side so people have a safer way to access the theater. Do better. This has gone on long enough.

There were yellow stains on the inside of the humidifier and the box should have contained 3 wicks, but there was only one. I returned it the following day. They gave me a refund and $15 kohls cash. On 8-17-26 I attempted to order something else online, but the website would not allow me to use the Kohl's cash as the area was grayed out. I contacted Kohl's customer service, they said the number on the kohls cash is invalid and instructed me to go back to kohls (Eastlake) to have them issue a valid one. On 8-17-26, I went to Kohls. The Manager, Adrianna, scanned the skew on the back of my kohl's cash and said it's valid and has $15 to use. I explained that I was unable to utilize the kohls cash. She suggested that I enter the number manually. I explained the area is grayed out. I asked her to issue a valid one so I can order online. She said she can't do that since it's from a retuned item. I said the only reason I returned the humidifier is because kohls sent me a used one. Frankly, I was shocked that kohls did not bother to check the item before they ship it. Adrianna did not offer an apology for the disgusting humidifier or the inconvenience of having to return to the store once again, without resolving the issue. Their own customer service department stated the number on the kohls cash is invalid. Adrianna did not resolve the issue and was unapologetic. I submitted this same review on Kohl's website, but they would not post it. I took a screen shot of their response.

Each section is supposed to be organized by size and clearly labeled, but in reality, it was a chaotic mix. I found sizes ranging from 5 to 11 all crammed into the size 7 section. It was frustrating and honestly exhausting to search through. Second, I was followed around the store by a tall man with a strange hair braid--I'm assuming he was Loss Prevention--but he made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I don't mind security doing their job, but following someone like a shadow without cause is invasive and unnecessary. And finally, the staff were unwelcoming, especially the so-called manager. A man with glasses and a beard, who appeared antisocial and uninterested. He spent most of his time on his phone. When I asked for help finding a different size in a pair of jeans, his repeated "No, no, it's not possible" response made it very clear he didn't want to be bothered. It's disappointing to see such a large store, filled with great merchandise, being run so poorly--especially under someone with such a negative attitude. Sadly, I don't see myself ever returning to this location.

I went straight to the electronics department where the Apple products are located and waited about five minutes for someone to assist me. After realizing no one was coming I walked around the store looking for an employee. I finally found someone who called for assistance over the walkie talkie. An employee eventually came over and I showed him the exact Apple Watch I wanted. He scanned it and told me their system showed one in stock. He then went into the employees only area to look for it. I waited patiently for about 20 minutes and he never came back. No update. No explanation. Nothing. At that point I pulled out my phone and checked the Walmart app. They had the exact same Apple Watch available so I placed the order. About 30 minutes later it was delivered directly to my front door. It was even $10 cheaper. The $10 honestly does not matter to me. This is about customer service. I walked into Target ready to spend my money and buy my mom a birthday gift. All I needed was someone to help me complete the purchase. I understand retail can get busy and inventory is not always where it is supposed to be. What I do not understand is leaving a customer waiting for 20 minutes and never coming back with an update. As someone who shops at Target regularly this was definitely a disappointing experience. Customer service can make or break a shopping experience and unfortunately today Target lost a sale that could have easily been completed with a little more communication and attention.
