Discount prices on women's, men's and children's apparel. Shoes, purses, makeup, hats, pet supplies, housewares, house decor, luggage, rugs, pictures and some food items. Easy checkout with plenty of staff to help. Large shared parking lot. Store is located on the very South end of the strip mall. read more

After years of popping in and out of this place, I can say that it's definitely fallen into the hands of apathy. They've had a remodel in at least the few years and now have better fixtures than before, but the exterior of the building is less than stellar, and besides the shiny fixtures the inside is a post-frat-party mess. Clothes strewn about, packages opened, shoes without a match, and a coat section so undescribably nonsensical that the "Coat" in the store title now seems more ironic than anything. And all this is worse in the holidays. Long lines, totally unorganized departments, and a staff with eyes glazed over just counting down to December 26th. Which is not to say there aren't some deals to be had here. There are still some pricey items, and some fashion finds, but with so many other options, and even local options out there it's hard to find reasons to want to come to BCF. Some deeply discounted name brands and decent clearance prices mean you will always have a clientele, but wandering the mess seems less and less worth it these days. read more

I think the address might be incorrect. I visited a location in Jordan Landing. This is the first Burlington I've ever been to. It was great! It feels similar to a TJ max type place. So many things marked down from a full price and I always love a good deal. They have home decor, clothes, shoes, and other random stuff. I honestly wasn't sure how to start this review, so I decided to Google the word "Burlington". As it turns out, it's the name of the UK's underground government war headquarters, and that is appropriate since this place sure looks like it belongs in the middle of a war zone! If you're struggling with a "Cold War" this winter and are in need of cheap coats for your nuclear family, this place will no doubt have what you want, but my advice is to go elsewhere. This place is utterly depressing in a way that not even a Ross, TJ Max or, heaven forbid, a K-Mart can match, and I realize this opinion may cause some major fallout! Speaking of fallout, like the other stores mentioned above, apparently the merchandise also randomly falls out the displays onto the floor, like you need obstacles in a place that is already dimly lit and so tightly packed and disorganized. Oh and the service...well they did have service, I'll admit that much, and my wife did manage to find a coat here so I'll be generous and offer up 2 stars. For me though, I'm still in counseling for PTSD after the experience here, and have been advised to not come back. For once, advice I will take!!! read more

So, Burlington is probably just as messy and chaotic as Ross or other discount clothing retailers, but I have a particular love for BCF because of their selection of cheap shoes. They carry everything from sensible flats to all-out hooker platforms, and most of them are under $25. My dog is connoisseur of tasty high heels, so I am forced to replace my collection on a regular basis, and Burlington helps me out with that. This place is also my go-to for cheap kids' suits and formals. Yeah, the suits are a little too matchy-matchy and maybe a little on the ghetto fabulous side, but when we need to go somewhere that's dressy, I don't want to spend a fortune, especially since my kids grow out of things like crazy. Suits and dresses for Easter, funerals, and stuff are items that get worn once. The downside to this place is that you truly get what you pay for. Everything is cheap on the wallet, but it's also pretty cheap in quality. And this my friends, is why I don't get too worked up anymore when I come home to Fido with a mouthful of stiletto. read more

Very limited selection for casual wear for both men and women. Customer service was horrible. 15 people in line and half of the cashiers were organizing hangers. Some guy was shoplifting and left with a backpack of stuff, the alarms were going off, and the employee watching the door waved her hand like, "**** this," and turned around to walk to the back of the store. read more

It's wonderful to see Central Beirut finally bounce back after all those explosions. Hm? Oh... Right. Seriously though, coming here is a bit like stepping in a portal back to the height of the Great Recession. I was a little surprised to find the doors open and lights on judging by the exterior. I expected a handscrawled sign reading: "CLosed 4 Good. No Pubik ToiLet." I'm making fun, but god damn this building looks like crap. It's incredible how they've cultivated that Zombie Apocolypse feel while actually remaining in business. The neighboring Deseret Industries store looks like a Dillards in comparison. The sadness continues inside where you'll find barren shelves, junk heaped randomly, and all the charm of an inner-city K-Mart. Still, one can find some acceptable goods and reasonable value here if you are of the right mind. I had gifts to return so basically needed to shop here, but did manage to come away with a nice-seeming baby bag. Burlington Coat Factory is a fun place to browse for cheap clothing, accessories and footwear but it always looks like a tornado came through, especially in the women's shoe department. What in the heck kind of people are shopping in here? You can go any time of the day and see mismatched shoes strewn about, clothing just lying in the middle of the aisles and worse. It is the messiest place I have ever seen and the employees just seem to shrug it off. Maybe it's just because they can't keep up with the messiness of their customers! The clientele here leaves a lot to be desired; I'm not paranoid but I prefer to shop here during daylight hours. Good prices, messy store and checkout lines that take up to 45 minutes. read more

Terrible return policy! Don't buy ANYTHING from Burlington unless you are 100% positive you will not need to return it! Even if you have a receipt it means nothing because if they happen to mark it down, they will not give you your purchase price back. Even WITH a receipt! Not even store credit for what you paid. You will have to accept a lesser amount or keep the item you ended up not needing. Burlington's Return policy only benefits Burlington. It is not good for the customer. Alright, let me get this out of the way first-this store is...well...it's a tad...disheveled. It's had a proverbial bad hair day for years. But such great hair!! And by that I mean clothes :) And shoes...and bedding...and purses. Okay it has a lot of great and stylish stuff that you can easily afford. And wearing this stuff you will look like the million bucks everyone else will assume you are paying for to get your fantastic threads. I speak from experience here so listen ye well brothers and sisters of style. If you have not entered this establishment yet though, let me give you some advice: it is poorly run so it looks a bit of a fright-So first off: step lightly (especially in the shoe section) because items have a way of leaping off the shelves and racks here. Second: be dogged in your search for the right size, matching pair, or coordinating accessories (cause it may have become detached during some shopping frenzy) cause chances are you will find them in some other isle or section. And lastly: remain focused. As there is so much stuff and so damn inexpensive you gotta be clear on what your shopping quest is and attentive to your wallet-cause "affordable" can swell into extravagant in no time. So, I shop at Burlington in Boise, Idaho and they have such a selection. I am a bigger guy, about 300 foot ball player build and they didn't have any clothes my size (well shirts). IN Boise, they have a big and tall section. The shirts there go into 6x. Although, I only need a 2x, tall is good, but they didn't have 1 thing there... However, I do know it's probably not the need in this area. I would have assumed all Burlington's do, but I know better now. That is the only reason they got 3 stars. Friendly people. Prices are more here, too, than in Boise. read more

The Burlington Coat Factory stores in Sacramento and Elk Grove are clean and organized. The stores here in Salt Lake City are so disorganized and junky that it almost makes me physically to go there. I kept going back because they have great products at great prices, but if I wanted to go to a bargain basement store, that's where I would go. Overall, frightening. Just...unsettling. The clothing selection was disappointing. I did find a hat I liked, but I ditched it, as it made my hands start to smell weird after carrying it around for a few minutes. There was an eerie lack of music, so the background noise was provided by the strange assortment of shoppers, stumbling around, rummaging through the heaps of oddly out-of-context junk, which all together made the isles look like a landfill, or the home of a hoarder. The lighting, the arrangement of things, and just the general atmosphere made me feel like I was in one of those movie scenes where the characters hide or lie in wait in some post-apocalyptic abandoned mall for zombies. In the home decor isle, shelves full of randomly-placed decorative animals silently stared at me through the dim lighting. Very haunting. To be fair, I am a bit biased, as none of the actual products appealed to me personally, and I was there with someone else who was just shopping for herself, so I was paying much more attention to the atmosphere than the prices and assortment of products. I don't know, this place was just...creepy. Just, very unpleasant overall. Honestly, the worst department store I've ever been to, and that's saying a lot because department stores in general are horrible places. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Sure, the prices may be great, but to get those great prices, you'll trade and end up with what is quite possibly the worst customer service in the world. If you should ever order baby furniture from them, realize that there's a 20-week wait for your furniture. Trying to complete our set when we found out they were about to discontinue it, we ordered the toddler rail and the bed rails for the full size bed. This took six weeks to come in, and when we went to pick it up, it took 30 minutes for the sales staff to even find it (at first they told my husband they couldn't find it and it must have been misplaced or lost), and then the set they brought out was broken. Luckily, somehow they miraculously found a set that wasn't broken, but all told, it took an hour to pick up an order that should have literally taken my husband (at the most) ten minutes--mostly due to the incompetence of the sales staff. And don't look for a manager, since they're never around. read more
