The best way this place can improve is to make it accessible for everybody, including autistic children who need a visual tablet to keep them occupied, while parents are shopping. Were I to list all the discount retailers (Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc.), Burlington would rank near the bottom of my list. Despite that, if you're willing to take the time to comb through their piles of clothes, you'll run across some good bargains once in a great while.. Case in point - recently I scored some Adidas sports bras and running tights here for just under $10 each! Unfortunately most of the times I come here, bargains like that are not to be had, and I end up leaving empty handed :-( Bottom line: If bargains are your thing, then given a while pile of patience and regular sacrifice to the Discount Store Gods, visiting here can be worthwhile. read more

Simply horrid customer service. Two people behind the counter, checking people out and there are people with baskets full of items. I had to be 25th in line. Like most Burlington stores, it is hit or miss in terms of the inventory you find. I've purchased some great clothing items - like adidas shorts and tanks - on clearance. In my experience, you can't be looking for something g too specific, but let me get back to the review. I know it isn't the nicest thing to arrive to a store ten minutes before the scheduled closing time, but, from a customer standpoint t, ten minutes before closing g means your doors are still open and you are allowed to enter the store to shop. I arrived at this Burlington with ten minutes before closing, Walked up to the front doors, and they were already shut closed. Disappointed, I dialed the store as I returned to my car. It took the automated machine a good 2 minutes to finally let me know what option to press (press 8) to speak with an associate. Once someone answers I explained I had been at the location. For several minutes and if it were possible to come and find one thing that I really needed. By this time, it was about 11:58 pm and was told that the entrance doors had been locked ten minutes prior to midnight but that the exit doors were open they do this to prevent homeless individuals from coming into the store before closing. That reasoning alone is pretty nasty and inconsiderate. It's also lazy. I understand wanting to close your registers and Close the store, but at the end of the day, your a retail business who should put customers and people alongside potential sales ahead of whatever time you are to close. There's a possibility you may be one transaction or certain dollar amount t shirt of making your daily profit goals, but because you employ rules like closing your entrance doors early before the posted closing time, you'll miss that goal. I think Burlington needs to step up in this area of business and follow through with practices and standards that they say they meet. Or change your store hours to reflect what you actually do. Still giving a 3/5 rating because I have had luck finding items here but losing out on a higher rating because of confusing store hour information and poor reasoning regarding the discrepancies. read more

I love this Burlington Coat factory! The Burlington coat factory on Date palm road in Cathedral city closed down and I am so happy they opened this one! It's HUGE and there is so much more products to choose from. They have a diverse pet section. You'd be surprised what you find for your pup. The best part is the doggie products are not expired and always fresh. Sometimes you find expired dog items in Tjmaxx and Marshalls but I haven't had any problems here! I usually resort to using amazon to find chew antlers and Buffalo horns for my doberman. The crazy thing is, I usually pay up to $40 for them. I walk into Burlington and BAM!!! (pause for dramatic effect..) I found them for $3.99!! Here is the reason for the 5 stars: They have a diverse and eclectic selection in all departments. They have easy parking, a friendly staff and clean dressing rooms. Check it out! They will not disappoint! A final note, they have higher sizes in their clothing section so if you need an extra large to 4XL you will find it here! Tjmaxx and Marshalls only goes up to 2xl. read more

Messy store. I purchased 3 of the $50 gift cards and was suppose to receive 3 bonus cards for $5 each. Third year in a row that the bonus cards were never sent and I had to contact the company. When we tried to use the bonus cards the cashier would only take one of them each time we visited the store. This seems like a stupid policy as the bonus cards expire in early February. Not sure if all the Burlington stores are this messy and poorly ran but Palm Springs is not a good place to shop at Burlington. read more

I went to Burlington today with my sister who was looking for cool blouses for the summer. She picked out a half dozen to try on and we headed to the fitting rooms. When we got there the area was totally blocked off. There was another lady who also wanted to try on some clothes. I asked an employee why the rooms were closed and he said it was because of Covid. We went to Marshalls in the same shopping center and there fitting rooms are open. At this point with the majority of people being vaccinated I find Covid as a poor excuse. Burlington lost a sale today and I doubt we will bother to go there again. read more

I'd never gone in before and had no idea they're a deep discount store which carries all kinds of clothes - I guess it was "coat factory" in their name that had given me the wrong impression. I tend to hate clothes shopping because I've generally had to go to three or four stores before finding what I wanted, but this place is so vast and so well stocked that I got what I needed within minutes, quick and painless. I walked into this Burlington just to browse for Halloween stuff and I was specifically looking for a fanny pack I saw on TikTok so I am going down the purse aisle and I see their employee start following me aisle after aisle I was on my knees for the lower hanging purses because I was intensely looking for the fanny pack. Keep in mind I had my 6 year old holding my hand. I kept locking eyes with the employee aisle after aisle until finally I ask if there's a problem they just responded with "I'm just doing my job" and I told her it seems like you are just following me around after that she says something on her mic and now I have a male employee following me around with my daughter holding my hand. At this point I just grabbed a pair of socks and went to the register so it wouldn't look like I was stealing if I walked out with nothing. Horrible Horrible experience. And once I'm in my car I check the reviews and what do you know I'm not the only one to experience this. This action needs to be corrected ASAP. read more

ok so me and wife were very excited to come here because we were looking for some nice easter jewelry for her to wear at an upcoming church event..... found my daughter a darling pastel dress...+ some goodies for the little ones baskets (my inner bunny loves to spoil them!) .....but very little jewelry. the section was so small, we had to ask an attendant in order to locate it! there were a few gems, but ultimately nothing that caught my wife's eye. on top of this, we swear that there was an odor coming from the bathroom....seems like someone had chipotle! we found this to be heavily distracting from our shopping experience. my wife complained to the manager, but as long as she's not reading this (this is my secret profile. ;D) she would've done that no matter what. all in all, not so bad! read more

My wife purchased a dog bed on March 11 for $15. Within a month of normal use it fell apart. The store wasn't open due to Covid 19 so I couldn't return it. The store reopened in early June but every time I drove by there were lines outside the building. Today the the lines were gone so I went in to do the return. The cashier looked at the dog bed and told me I couldn't return it because it was dirty. I pointed out that I was returning it because it was falling apart after above a month of use. She wanted to know why it took me so long to return it and I reminded her that the store was closed for two months. None of this mattered because store policy didn't allow returns of used merchandise . I wasn't going to waste any more time arguing so I left and deposited the dog bed in the trash can outside the store. I won't shop there again. Don't say you weren't warned. read more
