Needed to get some new work clothes and old navy never seems to disappoint. I also find good deals…read morein their clearance most of the time. Everyone is friendly and I don't typically have to wait in line a long time.

I hate to admit this, but: I like this particular Old Navy…read more Sure, 1. their sizing is entirely off (seriously, in what world do I wear an XL pair of shorts, but an XS shirt?). 2. Sometimes the staff here seems robotic ("Have you signed up for our Old Navy card? You can save 10% off your purchase today! HaveyousignedupforourOldNavycard?Youcansave10%offyourpurchasetoday! HAVE YOU SIGNED UP FOR OUR OLD NAVY CARD? YOU CAN SAVE 10% OFF YOUR PURCHASE TODAY! Beep boop bop beep boop."). 3. And the wait to cash out can be overwhelming (PRO TIP: bring a book and read in line while you're waiting). 4. The house music can be irritating (I'm pretty sure there's subliminal messaging in those pseudo-indie pop songs they're playing that convince me to buy more). 5. And how frustrating is it that you can buy something on a Tuesday for $49.99 and two days later it's suddenly on clearance for $9.99?! On the opposite hand: 1. I'm madly in love with their flip-flops and - no joke - have had some that have lasted for years despite daily use. 2. The sizing of their yoga pants is on point. Not only are they durable and excellent for actually practicing in, they're also super comfortable. I'm wearing a pair right now. I will probably wear a pair (maybe the same pair) tomorrow. 3. The staff can be super patient too. Like when I show up at the dressing rooms with 4x more clothing than I'm allowed to try on, and they let me (I gotta hang the extra stuff outside the door, but that's fine). They also take back 143 of my 147 items after I've tried them on without making me feel badly, so I appreciate that. 4. The house music during the holidays is glorious. I didn't know there were fifty two versions of "All I Want For Christmas", but I wanna listen to them all, back-to-back, on repeat. And ON gifts me that. 5. And their clearance section? Sometimes it's magical and clean and lovely over there. Other times it feels like a post-apocalyptic riot just happened. Of all the Old Navy's in Maine, this is my go to (in the morning when they first open, that is).

It honestly amazes me that the staff here works on commission (or at least earns a percentage of…read moresales) because they certainly do not act like it. I have shopped at this location multiple times and have spent hundreds of dollars in a single visit thousands over time. Every time I come in, I am polite, patient, and respectful. I smile, say excuse me, and ask for help when needed. Yet on more than one occasion, I've been met with rude behavior or attitudes that make me feel like I'm inconveniencing the staff by simply asking a question. Today was the final straw. I forgot that I had a gift card and had already paid cash. The gift card did not cover the full amount, so I politely asked if the sale could be redone so it could be applied. I was told no. There was no effort to help, no solution offered, no customer-service attempt whatsoever. So I will be returning everything and repurchasing using my gift cards, and I will not be stepping back into this store again. The staff should be ashamed of themselves. The products themselves are great. I genuinely love the clothing and quality. But customer service matters especially when you work on commission. If you are earning from sales, you should be going above and beyond, not acting bothered by the customers who are funding those commissions. Very disappointing.

Out for dinner with my man and see this store front. We hit it up after we ate and boy was I…read moreimpressed! For men, my man especially since he's got a large foot, found so many options and styles of boots, shoes, and socks! The clothing, not so much, he's tall not wide. Women have a sensational selection of clothes but only boots for foot wear. They had sooo many styles and designs of boots it's was impressive. Sales associates were milling about as we looked around and saw one woman was very helpful when looking for a displayed item I was interested in buying. Prices were higher then I would have thought which is where m journey ends. I will have to shop around before going back since I don't know enough about cowboy boots and usually pricing. Super cool store and highly recommend for a stop in and see if not to purchase for yourself or those you love.
