    Tea Leaf Salad ($21.99)
    Elena N.

Date: Friday, March 20th, 2026 Meal: Dinner Delivery Time Ordered: around 6pm Arrived: about 40 mins later Ordered Thru: Uber Eats Uber One Neighborhood Delivered to: Evergreen *Tea Leaf Salad ($21.99) *Tax ($2.07) *Delivery Fee ($0.49) *Service Fee ($5.72) *Tip ($6.05) *Delivery Discount (-$0.49) *Membership Benefit (-$0.20) *Promotion (-$15) *Uber One Credits (-$1.75) I was craving a tea leaf salad. After looking around I found Burma Choice. Luckily I had some kind of promo thru UE, so getting the salad delivered costs less than the salad itself. Score for my lazy a$$! I love a good tea leaf salad, but I do not like peanuts. I wish this establishment let you make notes or had an option for no peanuts. I ended up having to pick them all out which wasn't a big deal. But it was slightly annoying. Otherwise I enjoyed the flavors of the fermented tea leaf. I want more jalapenos and lemon for contrast. Luckily I had those items at home to add. Good option for a tea leaf salad. Just wish they would let you get it without peanuts thru Uber Eats. REVIEW #4035

A fantastic Burmese spot in the South Bay! Lots of seating inside, some seating outside. Place is spotless inside very welcoming. The service is fast and helpful, if you have questions, dietary restrictions or whatever, just ask. The food here is exquisite, the tea leaf salad is the best in the bay!

The restaurant has plenty of parking as it's in a plaza. It was pretty empty except for a few patrons inside on a weekday afternoon. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was quick and friendly. The garlic pork was very flavorful and mild from the peppers. Enjoyed it with a side of jasmine rice which is not included with the entree. They accept Apple Pay and provide take out as the portion of the entree is good for two people.

We were looking to try something new. Somebody suggest Burmese food. When we arrived, it was not too busy and were quickly seated. Restaurant is nicely decorated with wood tables and paneling. We started with the palata which is like Roti with vegetable dip. We ordered the fiery chicken. It came with peppers and wasn't spicy. Lastly, we were craving for pineapple fried rice. All the dishes were decent but nothing jumps out. Very similar to Thai dishes except for the Tea Leaf salad that had a unique flavor. Staff was friendly and efficient. In this area, there are limited Asian cuisine. If I don't feel like driving, may visit it again.

Food tastes so good. Fave is crispy pork belly. Fast service and friendly staff. Place is clean and well kept. Will be back soon. Great flavors.

The service here was awesome!! The food here was good too. We ordered roti, samosa, pineapple fried rice, chicken curry, and string beans. The pineapple tasted off in the fried rice but we were hungry so we kept eating without the pineapples.

We've been coming here for several years now, but for some reason I haven't written a review. We came here for lunch today. They are so nice and welcoming here. We ordered the eggplant in garlic sauce with shrimp, Burmese chow mein with beef, the mango salad and samosas. The food here is so delicious. It's one of our favorite spots. It's nicely decorated inside with plenty of seating. It's always very clean and the customer service here is excellent. I highly recommend trying Burma choice out.

We ordered the samosa soup which was flavorful and interesting, but the garlic eggplant and pad thai just tasted bland and off, which was disappointing. How hard is it to mess that up? Logistics: - indoor seating for sure, not sure if they had outdoor seating - plenty of strip mall parking in front

Stopped by for lunch. Tried the tea leaf salad and the coconut soup with chicken. I've had tea leaf salad at other Burmese restaurants and this one was very similar but expensive. The soup is similar to the Thai version of this soup which I actually prefer over the Burmese version. I would still go back to try some other dishes.

This place is pretty good! Came a few times most dishes are delish. Favorites: Tea Leaf Salad, Pumpkin Stew, Nan Gyi Thoke The Crispy Spicy Chicken was a miss. Came out as literal balls, the chicken to batter ratio was :( Also didn't live up to its crispy name. Burma House Noodles was like if pad thai and sweet and sour sauce had a baby. Cute place and they have outdoor seating for the dogs!

This place is just okay. Lots of parking out front. Not too busy. Came with a group so was able to order a few different dishes to try and share. I would avoid the garlic chili pork and the jalapeno chicken. These were way too salty. Did not enjoy at all. The garlic noodles were a miss too. The noodles tasted bland and had a bit funky after taste. The tea leaf salad, house noodles and the crispy chicken are definitely the way to go. If you go, order these dishes. The coconut rice is good too.

We decided to try Burma Choice for a late night dinner. While it was decently crowded on a Friday night, there was no wait for a party of 2. The interior was a decorated to be a mix of both traditional southeast Asian culture and an elevated American restaurant, with lots of dark wood finishings. We ordered 2 entrees to split, the House Burma Noodles with tofu and the Chili Lamb. Both were quite good, though the onions in the Chili Lamb could have been cooked longer so that it would be less crunchy. The lamb itself was flavorful and had a lot of spice, but not too much heat. The noodles were evenly covered in sauce and had both savory and slightly sweet flavors. These 2 dishes were more than enough for 2 people, so we boxed the leftovers to bring them home. Overall, this was a substantial and satisfying meal and I would come back again.

You order through a QR code on the table and all mobile devices ordering from the same table will have their orders consolidated. Beef Udon stir fry is tasty, but as many have said, on the sweeter side. Loooooove the texture and chew of the udon noodles. Very springy, almost like korean rice cakes or gnocchi. Sake chirashi bowl was delicious too. Would be nice if the wasabi was on the side. My daughter loves sashimi but can't handle when the wasabi touches the fish. Too spicy for her. Freshness of the fish is good. It's not the luxury cut of salmon, but the quality is still very worthwhile. Can't go wrong with Cali Roll, sweet potato fries, and spring rolls (fried egg rolls). Kids gobbled them right up. My bestie also ordered a sizzling plate which she finished just as quickly. Definitely RECOMMEND this spot for small get togethers, party of 5 or less. They may not have much in sushi variety, but what they dish up, they serve with pride with modest prices. Cheers to the sweet woman who gave our kids lollipops after their meal. The seafood was well-seasoned with a nice spicy kick, and our noodles were very garlicky (in a good way). The chicken tenders were also flavorful, but a bit dry (I still like it btw). The garlic fries were cooked to the perfect level of crispiness, while the lobster garlic noodles were flavorful, savory, and packed with garlic goodness. The seafood itself was fresh and good quality, but I found the House Special Mild sauce a little underwhelming. I was hoping for more depth and flavor, but most of what I tasted was a mild kick of heat. While it wasn't bad, it didn't have the rich, buttery, and well-seasoned flavor profile that I typically look for in a seafood boil sauce. Service was great throughout our visit. We were seated promptly, our food arrived quickly, and any requests we had were fulfilled without issue. The staff was attentive and made the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. I also appreciated the restaurant's nautical theme. The decor featured fishing nets, ship-inspired accents, and other sea-themed elements that helped create a fun and immersive atmosphere. Overall, I'm glad we gave this place a try. The garlic noodles and fries were delicious, and the service was excellent. While I would probably choose other seafood boil spots in the future, this was still a solid experience and worth trying at least once.

This place had good reviews and very reasonable prices, so we decided to give it a try. We arrived right when they opened and were the first customers to order at the counter. Before coming, we had seen a Saturday special advertised online and posted on the restaurant window: fish, clams, chips, and a soda for $12.95. Unfortunately, when we got to the counter, the special had been covered up with a piece of paper and replaced with the Friday special. My daughter had her heart set on the clams, so we ended up ordering the clam meal and soda separately. That was a bit disappointing. We ordered the clam meal, a sampler with chips (1 fish, 2 prawns, 2 oysters, and 2 scallops), and a large clam chowder for the family to share. The hostess who took our order was friendly and brought the food to our table. Most things are self-serve, including salt, pepper packets, and ketchup from a pump station. The fried items came out first, and we were told the clam chowder would follow. Unfortunately, the chowder didn't arrive until we were almost finished with our meal. As for the food, the fish was the standout. It was cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and not greasy at all. The clams were also quite good. The rest of the sampler was just okay. The scallops were a little soggy, and while the chips were crunchy, they were pretty bland. We tried adding salt, but since they weren't fresh out of the fryer, it didn't really help much. The biggest disappointment was the clam chowder. It tasted more like mushy potatoes than clam chowder and lacked the flavor and texture we were expecting. Overall, the family wasn't particularly wowed by the food, but the pricing was reasonable. If I come back, I'd probably just order the fish. That was easily the best item we tried and worth returning for.

My friend had said it was really good too. Oh well. I also didn't appreciate how when I went to pay the 22% was also marked as a default tip, so I would assume he ticked that. This is the first time that I've had service that has been subpar. Almost every other time the servers have been outstanding. I felt like the waiter should've double checked a few things have not been lazy about it. A few months ago, my friend and I also went and they had a different menu. It was three for $16 or something. He also said he didn't have that today either. And he claimed there was no such menu. So maybe they got rid of it. However, it is still listed online? My friend had got the tacos before and she loved those so I'm posting that picture here as well but this was the prior visit in the spring.

I' had my eye on California Fish Grill for a while, ever since one opened very close to me…read more.. This location is not it, but I was in the area and thought I'd give it a try. My buddy was also craving some Fish n Chips as well. Good size venue with a decent amount of seating. Parking is not an issue, with plenty of spaces in the plaza. Use the kiosk in the front to order and wait for your number to be called. This is a fast casual restaurant, so it's open seating. The interior and the tables were clean. Service was very friendly. The staff were very helpful and informational. They gave us extra sauce when we needed and were on top of everything. They took away our plates and cleaned out the table as soon as we left. #FishGrill: ~ LOBSTER NACHOS - 3.5/5 A heaping amount of food. I thought it could do with a bit more Lobster meat. There were tons of chips. Corn chips, wild-caught lobster, avocado, roasted corn, green onion, lomi tomato, diced chilies, cream sauce, green goddess & dynamite sauce. ~ FRIED CATFISH w/ Fire Roasted Street Corn - 4.5/5 Reminds me of NOLA. An excellent fried Catfish; crispy, mild and flaky without being overly oily and heavy. I thought the catfish could be a bit meatier portion wise. Grilled available as well. The Roasted Street Corn was perfect as well. ~ French Fries - 4/5 Brilliant Fries. Simple, crispy, slightly salty, just about perfect. Solid spot. I was impressed with the Fish and Chips as well, lightly battered, tender and crispy and it didn't make me feel bloated or lethargic after I ate. I'll definitely be back to check out the rest of the menu...

It had a lot of flavor and was pretty strong, so I stayed in the restaurant for a while to let the buzz wear off. I'll definitely be back to try more things from the menu. The Boiling Crab is now one of my favorite restaurants!

Too bad you can't add to the waitlist beforehand. We ended up getting seated at our table around 7:50pm This location is not as big as the other SJ location but it is slightly less busy than that one since it's further out. They have a white board near the door that lists the seafood that they're out of for the day, which is helpful to note. Menu and pricing is available through the QR code on the table We ordered 2lbs of shrimp and 1 lb of crawfish in medium spice with the whole shabang to share between 2 people. The seafood boil came out hot and within 10 mins but we felt like it wasn't marinaded into the seafood, potato's and corn enough. Portion and spice wise was perfect though. We were hoping to order garlic noodles but was a little disappointed it wasn't on their menu. Our host was attentive though and came by to check on us and give us more gloves
