We went on a Saturday at noon. We were seated right away! The building looked large but there weren't as much seats as I thought. It appears there is a large room for parties which takes up a lot of their space. For food, we ordered combo 1 which was a great deal in my opinion! I liked that we got to mix and match the seafood. We got the house sauce at spicy level. The sauce was thick and creamy. It coated everything very well! However, it was not spicy at all to me. We also ordered the garlic noodles and the calamari. The garlic noodles just tasted like cheese and milk, not enough salt and garlic. I would not get the garlic noodles again. The calamari however was very yummy! We enjoyed it a lot and ran out of sauce way too early. Lastly, we ordered the ube coffee. It just tasted like a sweet Vietnamese coffee. Ube is a hard flavor to maintain. Overall, we had a great experience and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was calm and not too loud inside. We got our food quickly and it tasted overall pretty good with the exception of the garlic noodles. I hear the fried rice is good, so I will try that next time!
Came here for Lunar New Year with my family and it was a pretty solid overall experience. The service was nothing special, pretty standard for a viet owned place. The inside was cute and had nice fish/boat themed decorations. The food was pretty good! We got the: Combo 3 seafood boil (4/5): I don't really eat seafood boils but when I do I enjoy them. The seafood was fine and sauce was standard. I do love me corn, potatoes, and sausages though. Cornbread (3/5): they give you a lot for $5 so that's value, but it was kinda dry and came room temp. Would probs be better warmed up. Mac and cheese (4/5): I actually really enjoyed the Mac and cheese! It came super hot and was really buttery and cheesy. Probs my fav of the night. Lobster garlic noodles (5/5): my boyfriend loved these. They're super garlicky, flavorful, and comes with a decent amount of noodles. For $32, it's not a bad deal at all. Overall, I'd totally come back!

I ordered through uber eats, no utensils, no gloves, nothing but the food and that's okay, but then my muscles had this gross spider looking thing on them.. the shrimp could've been cleaned better too and I'm not talking about the guts, I'll take that, but those little spikey things by the head of the fish were everywhere in the sauce. Could've been trimmed beforehand. I just don't think the seafood here was cleaned properly. Also I ordered mussels, why was there crawfish legs and clam shells in there. It honestly grossed me out and I couldn't even eat them. Garlic noodles were good.
I wanted to try this place out, as it kept on popping up on my feed. While it was affordable, I don't think their flavor profile matches with my own. It was okay, but I didn't like it as much as I love other places. It doesn't seem that fresh, but for the price it's quite fair. I did not like their garlic noodles. There was too much cheese personally, it was giving feet. Service is quick and staff are friendly.

We found the spot searching for crab boil on social media and it did not disappoint. 1) everything that touched our mouths was amazing. We split a combo 2 which was plenty of food but added an extra pound of shrimp, because why not. The flavor missed no steps as it packed a punch. 2) every single person we interacted with at the establishment was kind, courteous and attentive 3) the price point was way less than expected for so much food. An added bonus it was the best michelada I've had in a really long time. Cannot wait to head back for more. Meal was so good I didn't remember to take my review photos until we were out the door lol
They are always very busy here and there is always a little wait whenever I can visit. The service is always really friendly and welcoming and they are really great with attention to details like refilling and asking if you need to add anything else. . The ambience here is casual and I do like how it's very family oriented or a date night special or just hanging out with friends to come here and dining. . What I really like is there garlic noodles which is really flavorful. . I also like their jambalaya which is really great with lots of shrimp and sausage and the rice is really flavorful. . I also like it in your seafood boil and it does come with crab legs lobster clams and shrimp. I always like getting mild to medium spicy and I feel like the flavor of the sauce which has a little bit of everything. I always like getting some spicy sauce on the side to dip in if I need extra spicy. I also like the generous amount of corn cob, and sausage and potatoes. . They also have your coffee drinks and bubble drinks also to Vietnamese dessert drinks and I like how the drinks are not too sweet and I do like their Jasmine milk tea as well. . I also like that fried calamari which is thick and it has really great texture. We also tried the lobster roll but it isn't one of my favorite and I do like how the bread is a really thick Texas garlic bread toast. This place was amazing! The seafood boil sauce was absolutely perfect, and the portions were generous. The staff was incredibly attentive and made the whole experience even better. The micheladas were delicious, and I also ordered the All-Star Jambalaya Plate--another huge portion for the price. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and well worth it. Definitely a 10/10. I absolutely love this restaurant but my partner and I didn't have the greatest experience with our meal today. The staff members were all so sweet and attentive but the crab we ordered today wasn't fresh. The crab was darker colored and had pigments of brown and black inside. Some parts of the meat looked really overcooked and didn't have a smooth taste to it. Some of the clams we had tasted a bit unusual... The garlic noodles we order were good though. Came here Saturday 10/11 around 7pm for my boyfriend's mother's birthday. This is my boyfriend's and I second time here. We returned after having a great experience. We ordered combo #3 with Crawfish (2lbs), Shrimp (1lbs), Mussels (1lbs), and a very decent sized dungeness crab (meaning larger then other seafood boil places I been to). We also got the lobster garlic noodles and I recommend getting that vs an ala cart lobster if you want it prepared differently. Everything was fresh & good we got the house special sauce spicy & enjoyed our super filling meal
This place is amazing! Their sauces are very unique. My fav was the whole nine yards, followed by barbecue broil and the house sauce. I ordered hot and medium - I loved the hot! It hit the spot for me - I wasn't crying but enjoying it. Note - my hotness tolerance is much higher than most people. I enjoyed the gumbo, the shrimps and crab, sweet potato fires and Cajun fries. Great place to go - if you enjoy spicy Cajun food. The others in the area are also pretty good - Kicking crab and boiling crab.

I genuinely enjoy the food here, and it has always been one of my preferred places to dine. However, my experience during this visit was disappointing. My party of six (three adults and three children) was told the wait time would be approximately 30 minutes. We ultimately waited about 40 minutes, which I understood given how busy the restaurant appeared. The concern began when multiple parties--around six--were seated ahead of us despite arriving later. After patiently waiting outside to avoid blocking the entrance, I approached the host for an update. She informed me that our party was considered "very large" and would require a longer wait. A party of six is not unusually large, and it became clear that our group had simply been overlooked. What was most frustrating was the lack of acknowledgment or apology for the oversight. The host seemed dismissive of my concerns and avoided engaging with us until I initiated the conversation. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ultimately, we were separated and seated at different tables, which further diminished the experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Despite the seating issues, our server was attentive and provided great service. My party spent roughly $300, not including the additional 20% tip we left. Given the amount we spent and the loyalty we've shown on previous visits, I would have appreciated at least a simple apology or some acknowledgment from the host regarding the situation. Unfortunately, that never happened, and even when I asked for the manager's information to share feedback, the request was not taken seriously and never contacted the manager. My previous visit was handled with much more care and professionalism, and I left feeling valued. Our server that time was Tyler (Manager) I believe his name was. We had Crab Bay again for dinner today. We ordered Combo #3 with snow crab legs, 2 lbs of crawfish, and 2 lbs of clams. Snow crab legs: a bit on the skinny side Crawfish: fresh but on the smaller side Clams: nice and big One thing we loved is the beer mugs were ice cold , which is always a win. The only downside was that the food came out before the beers. We were hoping the beers would arrive first so we could sip while waiting. That said, the owner was extremely nice and attentive. Because of the wait, he kindly brought us complimentary garlic noodles with shrimp, clam chowder, and another ice-cold beer, which we really appreciated. Let me introduce you to the star if this establishment: GARLIC NOODLE It's chewy, garlicky, and addictitive . We ordered 1lb of their house sauce in hot. For those of you who loves hot and spicy food. Their hot is not really hot. We added our own Carolina Reaper crushed pepper. Highly reccomend adding in yhe sausage, everything goes together great with the rice. read more

Late post! Warmly greeted ! Restaurant has that ocean theme with a playful ceiling hanging shark decor , backdrop of fish netting enclosure of a dining area, rope accent decor capturing an atmosphere of underwater scenes. A friend highly recommended this restaurant and treated us to lunch since we were both craving for soft shell crab!!! And it was crazy delicious and cooked in perfection!!! Started our meal with their best creamy Clam Chowder soup! Aside from the delicious soft shell crabs we had a very large order of Garlic noodles topped with 2 half shelled grilled Lobsters !!! Another dish to come back to on next visit !! Hubby tried the Chicken Tenders Plate with french fries! Love everything served here and worth every penny !!!! Great service ! We were a party of three coming in on Sunday for a late lunch/ early dinner around 5 PM and we were immediately seated! We got the combo #1 with an extra pound of headless shrimp with the house sauce in mild and everything was good! The crawfish were large and everything tasted fresh. I love that they offered snails here which is unlike other places! I also got the matcha latte with ube cream and it was really good which was unexpected considering it's not their specialty. My one complaint would be the drink had too much ice but otherwise everything was solid read more

This was our 3rd time coming to Crab Bay and it was another really good visit. The staff here are super friendly, I forgot my soda at the table and it got tossed out but they gave my wife a free one which was very nice of them. Service like that makes a big difference. We ordered a pound of crawfish, shrimp and mussels with the house special sauce mild. The seafood was flavorful and above average compared to other places we have tried. For appetizers we had the cornbread which was unfortunately dry, the mac n cheese was alright and nothing special, but the gumbo was amazing. I would definitely order the gumbo again next time we come. Overall we enjoyed the food, the service was excellent and we will definitely be back again. read more

We came across this spot after grabbing some Synergy gift cards from Costco and reading all the glowing reviews--so we had to give it a try. Safe to say, it did not disappoint! We ordered the garlic noodles, the #2 combo with Dungeness crab (1.75-2 lb), two pounds of crawfish, and added a pound of mussels, all in the House Special sauce (mild). The garlic noodles were a hit with my family--good portion and flavor, though just okay for me personally. The Dungeness crab was fresh and a solid size. The crawfish were impressively big and perfectly cooked--not overdone at all. So good! The house sauce had great flavor even at mild heat, with a little kick that added just enough depth. Next time, I'm definitely getting a side of crawfish with medium spice! Customer service was wonderful. The woman helping us during pickup was so sweet and thoughtful--she packed up a table liner, bibs, and gloves like we were dining in. It really made the to-go experience feel complete. Also love that they accept the gift cards and even took the time to manually enter each code--though for their sake, it would be nice if their system could scan them in the future to make it easier. Overall, amazing food, great service, and a super smooth pickup experience. We'll definitely be back--hopefully to dine in next time! read more

Good food and service but the kitchen forget my girlfriend's mussels, so she had to call a server over and have the kitchen cook it, making her wait an extra 10 minutes or so. A fly was buzzing over our table next to the door at the beginning of the meal but went away later on. The food was great, but my GF and I both agreed it's NOT as good as my favorite seafood boil spot, Claw Shack in North SJ. The Crab Bay's backyard boil sauce did not penetrate the shells of my headless shrimp, so the shrimp meat was bland unless I double dipped it back in the sauce, which isn't the same as marinating it. There wasn't nearly enough garlic or sauce in our bags in comparison to Claw Shack. Mussels were bomb even though they forgot them in our initial order. Shrimp, clams, crawfish, corn, sausage, and potatoes were good, but not mind-blowing in flavor or size. The calamari was damn good at the Crab Bay though and were perfect. The Cajun garlic noodles were good, but I'd pay extra for some added clams next time. It was great to finally try The Crab Bay, but, if I'm spending this much money, I'd still rather drive up to Claw Shack. read more

Update after dinner 5/31/2025: Came here with my S/O Saturday Evening. It's been a month or two since my last visit. Parking lot, full; but the foot traffic wasn't as busy as I thought it was going to be when we came in around 6:30. I'm happy we got seated immediately cuz I was hangryyyy. We were actually greeted by the restaurant manager, I believe is Tom. High emphasis on how sweet he is. He is so engaging to the guests that walks in through the doors. To talk about food, my usual order, a dozen oysters and a combo #2. I noticed prices raised over the last month, but I need to say I'm not so mad at it. Haha. The only minor issue I ran into was when my boil came in, I opened and noticed a lot of sand debris in my food. I brushed it off at first but after eating my 4th clam, I couldn't do it because it was just too much grit. I rarely make any complaints about my food, but this was a little inconvenient for me. I am happy that our server was amazing sweet about it and took my food back for a new batch. I think his name was Tim. Tall gentleman with glasses very accommodating and checked in well with us. My BF's order was actually pretty bomb. Chicken Tenders with Garlic Parmesan Fries rating a 10/10! The chicken tenders were juicy and is best with ranch sauce. Mouth watering hahhh. Seafood boil was delicious, well priced for the amount of food. Lobster, shrimp, and clams were yummy. We got the house sauce mild, and it wasn't spicy at all, but I wish the sauce was richer in flavor + had more depth to it. The garlic fries were soooooo good with tons of seasoning, I would honestly come back just for them! Garlic bread was perfect and warm. Service was quick and attentive. read more

Was too lazy to drive and was so happy when we found The Crab Bay on Door Dash. Definitely made dinner so much easier! The food came fresh and hot still so that was a big plus! I love me some Crab Bay! read more

Ordered: Combo #1 Combo #1 lets you choose 3 items from their list. And it comes with 4 slices of sausages, 2 corns and 2 potatoes. We ordered 2 lbs or crawfish and 1 lb of shrimp. The sauce in the bag is good but I felt like it didn't soak into any of the seafood and all the seafood just tasted bland. When we got there we were offered fresh crawfish but last minute they told us it was sold out so we had to settle for frozen. I've had frozen crawfish before and I think it usually tastes fine, but this frozen crawfish was too obvious that it was frozen. The meat was grainy and bitter and the shell was more soggy for some pieces. It was unpleasant. I wish we were able to get fresh crawfish, but we came too late for that. On the other hand, the garlic fries were really good and really helped me enjoy the meal. Super fresh and garlicky. I'll probably try the place again because I'm curious about the fresh crawfish. read more

Wooooooow , Talk about phenomenal!!!! Tyler was an amazing server !! Great attitude great service great recommendations !!! Our drinks were never empty. Now for the freakin food dang so so delicious!! The sauce (I had the whole nine yards and mild ) was so butter and creamy not oily !! She kept thinking it was pirates theme We ordered: Garlic Noodles (10/10 according to my daughter) yummy and not utoo garlicky And: Fish Combo (8/10) spiced just right but fries could've been a little more flavorful.
