I'm struggling with this one. I was looking forward to this meal and i regret every bite I took. The rice was dry, like it was left out for a little too long. The meat had no flavor and had a rubbery texture. The egg was burnt and the Kimchi was 100% out of a can that was opened a week ago. Damn. The pictures looked so good, too. Pretty cool concept of fast bibambop. You pick your rice, meat, and toppings. I tried the hot stone kimchi rice, bulgogi, and all the toppings. It was quite a lot of food for me, I had to get a to go box. And for me it was a lot of bulgogi. Ive had bibimbap before at korean restaurants and they were very skimpy on the meat portion, so this was a pretty good size for the price. You also get free soup and salad. So tons of food for a great price! The stone bowl was also so hot that it stayed hot the entire meal. It was almost too hot where I couldnt eat it for a long time, so next time I'd just get a regular bowl. The crispy rice is the best part though at the end. Oh and the lady said they are the owners of Jin's in Plano, and they are planning to open another Burning rice in frisco. Frisco is going to be a lot closer to us so I can't wait! read more

This is so far my favorite bibimbap place ever. I love their seaweed soup. I've basically had everything in there and I loved every single one. I usually get the bulgogi or spicy chicken. I tried garlic pork tender last night and it was amazing. Definitely recommend this place. I like the hot stone bowl, but when it's hot outside, the regular bowl will do the job just right. The food was alright, we didn't get the warmest of receptions like everyone else was getting around us. The lady snapped on me about the "for here" or "to go" after I already answered her. We were getting a car wash when we noticed this place. We were excited a Bibimbop was near us and if it was tasty we wouldn't have to go all the way down to Carrollton to get good Korean food. Came in around dinner time and place was fairly packed. We ordered two regular bowls. One with LA Kalbi and the other with Bulgogi. We also got all of the veggie topping options. After we paid, the cashier told us we could help ourselves to soup and salad at the bar station. It was nothing fancy but hey it was a nice touch for them to give customers something extra with their meal. We thought the food was ok and liked that the fried eggs were included in the price of the bowls. Husband wished there was more kalbi in his bowl though so just something to keep in mind when you order considering there is an up charge. I placed an online to go order for a rice bowl with kimchi rice, spicy bulgogi, kimchi, and bean sprouts. I pick up my food and there was no wait which was great. But the food was extremely disappointing. The rice was mushy and there was not a lot of kimchi, keeping in mind I selected kimchi rice AND kimchi as a side. Korean rice bowls ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE MUSHY! It's not supposed to be like rice with gravy. It was like eating mush. This place used to be one of my favorite spots to eat. I've been here over 20 times with my wife and various friends over the past few years. However, they recently changed their menu and ingredients. The quality and quantity of the food has diminished considerably, and is now completely sub par. Not to mention this most recent visit was during the pandemic and the cashier was on her phone with her mask off when my wife and I walked in. The cashier looked up, acknowledged us, and then proceeded to finish texting or doing whatever she was doing on her phone before putting her mask on and assisting us. Wtf? I really like the simplicity of how to order. It made it very easy to pick out my food items. I got the stone bowl which kept my food hot the whole time. This was a positive & negative. I think I burned my tongue 2 times. Haha but the rice & all the toppings were good. I wasn't too fond of the chicken although. Next time I'll try the tofu. This is a good place for fast, hot food. If you are not used to eating Korean food, ask for the Bulgolgi meat. Its like chopped steak and has a ton of flavor. Then when you get your bowl... STIR STIR STIR and eat!!! Its pretty amazing. I will probably be hitting this place up a lot. Kid's bowl, might as well be an adult bowl, its still a lot of food. We got one to split between our tots and still had left overs.
