    Mapo tofu + veg
    Chris D.

Enjoyable home delivery experience. The food was delivered quickly. I tried to call to ask if the mapo tofu had pork (I hope it didn't, as I don't eat meat!!) but no one picked up. I love sesame noodles, but these needed more sauce. I asked for spicy and didn't get that. Good sized portions and good prices so I'll order again.

Did not know this is a chain restaurant until I saw the locations on the map. Luckily one popped up near my job with just a walking distance. The menu has decent prices that are not expensive for their noodles, rice, and cold dishes. What caught my eye was the spicy chicken fried rice! I immediately ordered that along with the wonton in chili oil sauce the first time I was there. I was hooked when I tried the rice and wontons. I went back today for the 2nd time to get the spicy chicken fried rice and it was so good! They give generous portions and filled the bowl to the top with the rice. Rice got a lot of red pepper flakes and is just mildly hot for me! Not so hot that I have to drink milk each time I took a bite. Chicken was dark meat from the thigh. Very tasty and fresh! The wontons are somewhat tiny but very good in the chili oil! They also give a lot of wontons! Wonton skin is very silky smooth. Place is always packed each time I was there. It looks very popular and there are many sit down tables with utensils and napkins on each table for grabs. The bad thing is the place is very hot and humid. There's an AC but I don't think it is working and the door is always opened to the public because of the large incoming traffic of customers.

First, I'm not big on these types of Chinese mala spicy noodle food. But my wife was in the mood so I went with the flow. This place looks very simple. Typical fast food style. If you look from the outside, you will think twice before coming in. We did, we looked at it 3 different occasions but finally decided to come in. And man, was a pleasantly surprised! This place is legit!!! If you want a bowl of noodles/rice noodles, give it a shot. Great value too! You don't see quality meat noodle soup for $11. Beef tripe rice noodle - The flavor of the tripe was very good. Improvement will be making it thicker so it has better texture. I can handle pretty spicy food but even with mild, this one gave me a kick. So be careful if you want to order spicy. Beef rice noodle - The flavor of the beef was very good and tender. Surprisingly good!

I found this place by accident when we went to pick up some dry-cleaning next door. I looked it up and saw that it had high ratings so I decided to stop in. Boy, am I glad I did. The food is very different. The taste is different in a good way. I liked it so much that in the 4 days that I was there, I went there twice. Wonton soup: one of the best wonton soup that I have ever had. The portion is huge and I ate it in 2 settings. I took it Togo and walked 10 minutes to my hotel room and probably another 10 minutes before I sat down to eat it and the soup was still piping hot, which is what I love. Sliced Chicken Gizzard & Sliced Beef tongue tasted the same to me; even the texture. The beef tongue was a little bit more tender. Both were good but, next time I would ask them to add some peanuts to cut the oil down a little. Mapo Tofu: was great! I could have devour that with a bowl of rice. Cucumber salad: excellent flavor and refreshing. Spicy chicken cold noodles: to be honest, what I liked most about this dish were the peanuts! I don't know how to explain it but it's toasted differently/perfectly and were a great addition to this dish. I would definitely go back because I want to try everything on their menu as I enjoyed everything that I have ordered, thus far. The people there was also super friendly. The price is reasonable and the portions are great.

Insane food! the best chinese food in the neighborhood for sure! my chicken broth was mouthwatering and just perfect. the structure of the wonton was solid even with thin dough it was perfectly in tact. the broth wasn't too salty. i could eat this every day. service excellent!

I saw their signs on surrounding streets and was so excited to try!! The shop is nicely lit and super clean. There is plenty of seating inside the restaurant as well. Service was very friendly-- they were helpful in recommending something to try. I had the Beef Rice Noodle, Medium Spicy, and it was perfect. The soup was spicy yet light, the beef was super tender, and the rice noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy. It hits the spot on a colder day. The portion size was great and affordable too! I'm so happy this place opened up. This is definitely becoming one of my new go-tos, and I can't wait to try more of the menu.

Great place for noodles. Service was fast. There's seats but opted for takeout. Place is small. I've never had beef tripe sliced so thinly before. Quite liked it. Had a touch of spice to it, but they can up the spice level for you.

New quick casual Chinese eatery in FiDi. Located on a side street but worth walking around to find. They ask you for spice level preferences when you order so you can control the heat level. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered, with the sesame noodles knocking it out the park! Portions quite big for price and service was friendly and efficient. The space itself is small but clean. Will be coming back!

This place was new and ambiance was very clean while service was average. I ordered the spicy beef noodles. This noodle reminded me of a Vietnamese dish due to its texture, the only difference was the soup. Price was this place is very reasonable for Fidi location. It was a cold day so the soup was just right. It would be nice if they added a little more beef. The other down side is they don't give tap water and would want you to buy bottle water. Above all else it's new and local and tastes good on a cold day. It also adds more variety to a neighborhood like Fidi. If you're in Fidi and want to support small businesses, I'd recommend stopping by to check it out.

I always walked by this place and finally gave it a try. I ordered it ahead of time for pickup and got the dry mapo tofu rice noodle. The restaurant was clean and had a few tables to sit and eat, and the staff were very friendly. The dish wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be and liked that it wasn't salty. Would've preferred the tofu to be more silken than firm but otherwise, it was delicious. The bowl was only $12 and was a good portion for lunch. Would go again to try their beef rice noodle soup.

Exactly what you expect from a place called Burp. Very sad atmosphere. The cold noodles were ok with a price to match.

The place was a little busy, and didn't take reservations, but we were seated immediately. Amazing service and delicious food! The food was fresh and came out fast. Portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. My favorite dish was the Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup, which was delicious and flavorful, and also gluten free, dairy free and soy free. Others had something else I had no interest in to remember the name. Their menu has many options to offer, including gluten free, soy free, and dairy free options. We would come back again and highly recommend you check out this place if you are in Murray Hill Manhattan. My only complaint was that I noticed a male staff member leave the restroom without flushing the toilet, which took away from an otherwise positive dining experience.

The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. We had leftovers that they graciously packed up. Solid choice. I hope they stick around as they do bring a different cuisine to the area.
