Stopped by this small pizza spot in the East Village and it was perfect for a quick slice. Definitely a great late night or grab and go spot. I got the margherita slice and my cousin got his go to spicy pepperoni, and both were solid. I loved that the slices are reheated in the oven so they get that final crisp and taste fresh. About six dollars a slice, but totally worth it for the price and convenience. Would definitely come back!!! read more

Late night pizza spot that stays open until 4 a.m. on weekends, so it's a great place to grab food and sober up a bit. If you're stopping by, definitely get their signature burrata basil slice. It's a very big slice at six dollars, and it feels even more worth it once you start eating. When I went, I was in the area for a bar crawl and planned to use the slice just to slow things down. I figured I'd eat maybe sixty to seventy percent of it and toss the rest since I didn't want to be too full. I had already eaten dinner a few hours earlier, and drinking when you're overly full can end badly. But the slice was so good that I ended up finishing the whole thing anyway, against my better judgment. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised by Burrata Basil's Pizza it was actually so good. I tried two slices. First of course I had to get the Burrata Basil slice I mean it's literally in the name i'm not not going to... This slice was EXCELLENT. Especially the crust like it was such a nice firm crunch. Not like a crispy crunch but a firm crunch which I find very rare in pizza so this was great. That and the burrata was so good here and actually had a good amount so almost every bite had some burrata in it. 5/5 star slice. I also tried the pepperoni which I thought was fine. Not as crunchy I think because of the amount of grease which was crazyyyy it was flowing like a river omg. But the pepperoni and the overall flavor of the slice was nice. read more

There are plenty of NYC pizza shops in NYC & everyone's opinion about pizza is different but this is my take on this place. Review of their signature slice: Burrata Basil I am not picky too with pizza,& the only thing I ask is that it's thin & no flop. I came here for a quick slice and left questioning every life decision I've ever made. This burrata slice doesn't just taste good--it flexes on you. The crust is crispy, the sauce is bright, and then BAM... a big, beautiful blob of burrata sitting on top like it owns the place. Biting into it felt like getting a hug from an Italian grandmother I never had. The burrata is so creamy it should honestly come with a warning label. I was two bites in and my wife had to slap me back to reality. If you're lactose intolerant, still try the slice & deal with the consequences later. If you love burrata, prepare to fall in love and never emotionally recover. 10/10, would risk burning the roof of my mouth again. read more

Some of the best pizza I've had in a while. We ordered three pies for a big group, which took a while to make but was worth the wait! Their signature burrata basil pizza and their Margherita were insanely good, maybe because it was the middle of the night, or maybe it was the fresh tomato sauce/crispy crust... Limited indoor seating, some outdoor tables to stand and eat but no chairs. read more

My friends in NY say this is their pick for best pizza in the city and brought me here. There's barely any seating so it's best for takeout. After I picked the slices I wanted, they quickly warmed them up and brought them out to me in a box. I tried a classic burrata basil slice at the friends' recommendation and a baked eggplant with burrata slice (same as the burrata basil but with eggplant and peppers). Honestly the NY style pizza is not my favourite (sacrilege) so I find it hard to make a great judgement, but I did enjoy this pizza even if I wasn't wowed. Biting into the rounds of burrata on each slice was heavenly though. I preferred the baked eggplant and burrata slice because I like lots of vegetables on my pizza. The slices are large but affordable. read more

As much as the hype compels you to try New York-style pizza, I've been sampling different spots and still haven't found anything that truly stands out. It was a regular, small pizza shop with a small standing table inside and some seating along the roadside. I wasn't expecting much, and it did take them a bit of time to heat the slice, but it turned out nice--big, flavorful, and satisfying enough. This is now in my top 5 favorite slices in the city. I got two slices. I started with the burrata basil of course. It was the perfect amount of thin and crispy and the burrata was amazing. I also got a sicilian slice that was both super soft but crispy on the top. Super filling! It was a Friday night so it was pretty busy but the service was friendly and very quick. read more

Don't have much to say about this one because i didn't pay for it and my friend wanted to put me on. The slice itself is pretty big. Super cheesy, just wish the sauce was maybe a little tastier. Burrata Pizza[1] is an East Village gem. Crunchy crust, delicious toppings. I take friends from out of town here. Super friendly staff. I've stumbled into here so many times they're not surprised anymore[2]. I've been here after zero drinks - and 3+ drinks - and Burrata's pizza offerings always slap. I've never had a bad slice here, and I've tried many of the varietals they offer. The burrata slice is a fan favorite, and I go for the meat lovers's too. And the Hawaiian, because I'm a monster. When I was in New York, I probably consumed enough pizza slices to cut my lifespan by like 10-15 years. While venturing to both local joints recommended by friends as well as joints that are tourist renowned all over social media, I still end up thinking about my slice from Burrata Basil. The service is quick, the slice is affordable, and the flavors were just so good on their perfect thickness of a crust. I highly recommend getting their signature slice here, this is some peak New York City pizza. read more

I love that they are open late. I go to some of the dive bars in the area, and like to come here for a slice of pizza afterwards. The garlic knots were a little dry (cause it was like midnight), and the person made me brand new ones. And they were great! It's small inside, and it's the former mozzarella pizza with new owners. They are much better than their predecessor. read more

Really great spot for a big, crispy, thin slice of pizza. Pretty small, clean interior with a couple of seats inside. They have the usual pizza condiments available (red pepper flakes, grated parm, couple of other shakers) and they also have hot honey out. I got a slice of pepperoni and burrata basil to go. Around week day lunch time there's a decent amount of foot traffic, but service was quick and the pizza gets packaged nicely. read more

Stopped by last night with friends and forgot how good this place was! It's your standard late night pizza store. The burrata basil pizza was so good! The crust was think, the burrata was fresh, and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. The basil was a nice touch as well. The winner is the hot honey you can put on after getting your slice. The service was super quick and not a long line. Took a bite it looked so good before taking a picture! The eggplant pizza is also great! Fried eggplant bits on top pack additional flavor into this slice. read more

So I stopped by this place to get a slice on the go. Their pizza display case was filled with many different kinds of slices but I decided to go for the staple which was the Burrata slice. This slice was actually a large size and tasted just like a regular pizza slice the only thing that I did not like that it was drenched in olive oil. I had to use few napkins to get rid of all that oil. Also the pizza crust was very dry and didn't have much flavor like most slices have. I would maybe come back and try their regular slice to see how it is. read more

We came here for a late night snack. I got a slice of burrata pizza. It was warm and appease my hunger. I did not need to wait too long for it to be ready. They also have hot honey you can add as a condiment - def recommend that! The place itself is small and obviously gets a lot of foot traffic in the late hours. There is not much seating inside. There's a bench outside. Great for the late night snack but wouldn't go here usually. read more

We got delivery from here about two weeks ago. On the plus side, the slices were delivered hot. Overall this is a good NY Pizza parlor, but nothing to write home about. We really wanted to try the Upside down Slice, and it was only alright. The Burrata Basil slice.... well, if you love burrata I guess. The classic was good but not great. The White with garlic also good, but not great. Plenty of Pizza Parlors in Kips Bay, I don't need to get alright slices from downtown. But if I was in the neighborhood and crazing pizza, I would stop in for sure. read more

We stumbled in here almost a year ago, when they were newly opened. We were just in from the West Coast, not familiar with the East Village, it was late and it was raining. In a word-we were desperate. Imagine our delight when it turned out to be some of the best pizza we ever had. And in NYC that is saying something. Piping hot flavorful slices. We enjoyed it so much we went back two days later! I would not call the crust "thick" or "thin." More thin than thick but not Neopolitan thin. Imho-exactly the thickness of a classic NY pizza, which is to say thin but thick enough not to flop over when you pick it up. And the flavor! Mamma Mia mwa! This is a grab and go place. Barely any place to sit but there is one long counter type table. But if a tasty late night slice of pizza perfection is what you crave, get to Burrata Pizza. read more

Came and grabbed a slice after hitting the bars last Saturday. Got a chicken ranch slice, which was fine. Where this place lost all their stars is that they scam you. 6$ for a slice is already overpriced but then I noticed they charged me like $8.50 for that slice!! Did tax in NY suddenly jump to 40%??? Even with a credit card fee it wouldn't be that high! Almost 9$ for a single slice of pizza is a joke! I think they know that a lot of young people will be drunk and hungry so they take advantage figuring they won't say or do anything! Noticed another pizza place right nearby so I'd suggest going there! read more

I always passed by this place but I decided to give it a try on one Friday night. It was quite busy around 11pm and a lot of people had placed their order and was standing around waiting for their food to come out. I quickly ordered after entering, and the slice came out about 3-5 minutes after; very efficient. If the pizza was slightly cheaper, I would have given 5 stars but at the price of $6 for the burrata basil pizza slice, I'll give a 4 for the value. It had a good ratio between the sauce, dough/crust, and cheese. I might come back to try a cheaper slice next time if I'm up for it read more

I am very serious about my pizza. Pizza really is a beautiful thing. It's 'ok' even when it's bad, but when pizza is *good*? My God, it can be beautiful. It's Thursday night and my doctor is running behind. I didn't eat lunch. I'm tired and cold. I just wanted a slice of pizza to pass time. As soon as I walked in and saw that the pepperoni slice I planned to get was $4.50, I thought "Damn! This *is Manhattan*". But when I got to the counter and saw the pies on display, I knew. Every single pie looked perfect. Every one. Even pizzas I would never order had me considering. I got my slice and whew was it oily. I used about 5-6 napkins just soaking it up. I hate an oily slice, but I won't hold it against you if there's a diamond underneath. It was pretty big though. I'm a zhuzher. I added almost every topping they had -- chili flakes, honey, oregano, black pepper, garlic powder. Skipped the buffalo. When I took that first bite? My gosh. Crust perfectly crispy. Cheese perfectly gooey without being gross globs. Beautiful sauce. Pepperoni done (almost) perfectly. I said 'wow'. I didn't even browse my phone while eating. Solid 4 stars for a surprisingly good slice. Was way better than I expected as it seemed like a typical generic overpriced nyc slice joint from the outside. But I was hungry and figured I'd give it a shot. Turns out slice was remarkably similar in taste to the famous pizza place with "basil" in its name. Slice was also quite large, I'd guess around 25% bigger than what you typically get at most spots. So filling and delicious. read more

If you want to impress some from out of town, or who somehow just didn't know where to get amazing and I mean, amazing pizza.. look no further! The burrata and basil with a generous drizzle of hot honey ( or even by itself) is genuinely moan inducing.. it's seriously that good! Check it out.. the guys are really sweet and there are a few seats and the kids tend to be really fresh because the locals know that this place is the best.. and keep steaming in!! read more

Solid slice, good crust, good sauce-cheese ratio. Sidenote: I know they are catering to their audience, but a dude just came in and bought two "chicken bacon ranch" slices. If you live in NYC and think ranch dressing belongs anywhere near a slice of pizza, you need to move out of New York and go back to Ohio and eat Pizza Hut. You don't belong here. read more

I moved this to the side to try the pasta which was honestly forgettable. There simply was not enough basil pesto in the dish, the sauce fell flat on taste and seasoning was nearly absent. The side of broccoli rabe was also so bad and forgettable. The stems were tough to chew, there was no salt and not a single speck of garlic in this dish. This is one of the priciest, grossest plates of pasta and vegetables I have ever had in the city. My friend ordered the eggs Florentine and said it was A-okay. Service was good and food came out on time but honestly I would not dine here again. They really need to step up their food quality if they want to continue doing business in the city.
