I ate the baja chicken burrito and it was the only thing I ate that day. On the plane 30 minutes later I started feeling squeamish. When I landed I went straight to the bathroom and threw up. This was not the only time..... It only ended because I went to the ER and had to get an IV because I was so dehydrated. *Update*: After this review was posted, I was contacted promptly by the business about my experience. They were very polite and were concerned in doing anything they could to correct the issue. I had lunch here going out for a trip then breakfast on the way home (so it was good enough to get me back). I might give it 3 stars if it wasn't in the Airport. But as far as a/p food goes it's pretty good. And you can watch a major percentage of the preparation (this makes me comfortable due to a disgustingly nasty incident I witnessed once in another airport). In my opinion, because I'm living the vita lo'carb, this spot fills the bill over any other food spot at O'Hare! I get the "low-car'burrito" and she's super filling and tasty. It's basically a burrito bowl sans tortilla. Tasty chicken, fresh lettuce and cheese, flavorful salsas. I fly once a week and most times, I only have time for a quick meal at the airport. I usually eat here and it is pretty good. Last night was the exception. I had not eaten all day and ordered the steak tacos with the corn relish and sour cream. By the time I arrived home in Fort Lauderdale, I new something was not right. Worst food I have ever attempted to eat. Avoid at all costs. Guacamole tastes like pure salt. Slimy lettuce sour cream is nasty. Crunchy rice and a damp soggy tortilla. Food was thrown into the bag hard enough to pop open the salsa container. After a brief stop at the table and a few bites, I threw it in the trash can with as much gusto as it was shot into the bag. Burrito beach has the best guacamole and food hands down! When I travel and have to connect I choose a Chicago connection just so I can get burrito beach! And the employees always have a smile on their faces and are welcoming. I would highly recommend trying this location with in ORD airport. read more
