There is parking at the back but it can be tight. We ordered the surf n turf (no cheese) and the OG breakfast burrito since both looked good at the time and I was super hungry. The OG burrito was pretty good and had everything I'd want in a breakfast burrito, it's good to eat it with some spicy red sauce, I'd give it 4/5. The surf n turf was good but I felt like something was missing from it.. granted we requested no cheese for that one but even then it just didn't hit the mark that I had hoped for. I love surf n turf so I guess I have different standards, but definitely a hit or miss. Plus there were a lot of beans which I personally don't think should be included in a surf n turf burrito, but that's just me, so I took each one out individually. I give it 3/5. Overall both burritos weren't bad, and it felt like they had all the right pieces, but something just felt missing from both of them and I can't quite put my finger on it. Service, speed, and quality control are the three things killing this place. I'm shocked Burrito Bomba has last so long because clearly this isn't a "one time" issue. I placed a phone order and stopped by Friday morning for two bacon breakfast burritos which, after the Yelp check-in for a 10% discount, came to about $29.75. When I first walked in, 4 people were waiting while one was outside, and no cashier or employee to be found. Nearly 10 minutes went by and the cashier came out, struggling to gather herself and figure out which order belonged to who. She did acknowledge me and let me know my order was being worked on. I wasn't in a rush but I know the other customers were growing impatient and even with myself, the wait time was pretty over the top. I got my burritos after maybe 20 minutes and asked if any sauces were included. The cashier said I could pick from the menu, which was odd because she didn't mention anything about sauce options, let alone a side of sauce being included. I went with the bomba sauce. Right away I knew the burrito would have issues because once I openet it, the tortilla was crumbling and barely holding together with tears throughout the wrap. It also wasn't folded well and the bottom spilled out. I will say the eggs were cooked well, the bacon was thick and crispy, and the potatoes were crispy too. Whatever sauce was used in the burrito, however, was completely plopped on one end of the burrito so that end got soggy and broke through. They also forgot the cheese and pico de gallo which it showed on the menu. The side bomba sauce was great. Overall, the place isn't worth the time, hassle, or poor quality burrito. read more

She suggested the Cali Burrito so we got that for grandpa, V got the steak burrito and I got the Al pastor bowl. We agreed the Cilantro Lime sauce was bomb and V normally doesn't like cilantro so that said a lot. The pinkish sauce was good too. We also ordered chips and guacamole. Chips were chewy and the guacamole container was 2/3 full and for some reason had shredded cheese in it at the bottom it was brownish. The side was a fail. Pete's Blue Chip in Eagle Rock is the way to go. It's closed today for the holiday, otherwise, they are are regular go-to. Overall, good burrito on the salty side (but that's almost expected with bacon). I think hashed browns would've made it easier on the palate (smaller potato bits). Bomba style doesn't make it that much more special, just harder to hold with the grease from the cheese. I'm sure it added to the saltiness. Sauce is extra because the sauce is already inside, though it wasn't saucy. Host didn't offer what kind of sauces were available. I'm guessing no salsa either. Shrimp and steak burrito is so flavorful, savory and tasty! We got fried cheese on the exterior and it is worth it. Horchata surprisingly tastes authentic! Wasn't expecting the rice flavor. We got two steak taco packs and unlike the burrito the tacos have an additional thousand island sauce that is a tad too sweet. The steak chunks are big and that's great but the lettuce overpowers the usual taco experience you expect. The lettuce and untoasted flower tortilla make it taste like a super American taco. I would not get tacos again, the burrito is far better so maybe just get the burrito? But if you want to take a chance, get a taco with no lettuce, ask for extra toasted for the tortilla, and nix the sweet thousand island sauce. Lastly their chips and Guac set gives you a good side of Guac but a small 1/5 bag of chips. The chips are freshly fried but they we're way too hard and crunchy and some chips were too soggy. I am writing this before food coma hits. This place was recommended by a coworker so this morning our group chose here to order breakfast. Between the 8 of us we picked all the breakfast items on the menu. While all the results are good this will just be about what I had. I chose the breakfast bowl with chicken and sour cream and Jalapeño Rqnch Aoli. First of all, all portions from the tacos to the loaded fries are generous options that are well worth the cost (tacos you get two FYI), the bowl was just as generous with chicken and potatoes and eggs. The chicken was cooked perfectly to still be juicy and tender and easy to chew, potatoes were soft and flavorful but the eggs! Scrambled BUT large portions instead of fully broken up so every bite got to have some egg with it. Well seasoned enough to stand on their own but harmonious with other bites of chicken or potatoes or cheese or just pico and guacamole! The whole meal had some heat to it, the pico was part of the source but the ranch definitely added a bit. Leaves a nice warm burn after that's slow to part. All in all, this was the best bowl I've had in years, we can definitely say we'll order here again. Everything was packed well and marked with the name of the meat to make it easy to distribute with a generous amount of forks and napkins so everyone had some plus extras. Just in case.
