    Steak tacos. THE BEST
    Jessica P.

Absolutely DELICIOUS!! we have ordered take out from La Estancia 2 times now and I'm sold! Both time the order has been on time and packed with utensils, napkin & salsa. I've ordered the steak tacos both times and they are addicting. The steak, onions and the tortillas are perfection. I love the green salsa. Fresh thinly sliced radishes as well. Very happy to have found this place!

We were in town and craving for some delicious Mexican food. I called in for takeout, but the phone kept going straight to voicemail. I had no other choice, but to order once I arrive and hoping there wasn't a long line. Once arrived, luckily there was no line. I normally would order a burrito, but wasn't as hungry since we had a late lunch. I decided to order Asada Fries Beef and my wife got the Enchiladas carnitas. The cashier was talking to fast so it was a little difficult to understand her. (name on receipt was Juan). Asada Fries Beef - I enjoyed the meat, but not so much with the fries. Not as crispy and too dried for me. Enchiladas carnitas - My wife didn't really enjoyed it. It was too sour for her and the presentation was sloppy. I wish I could had gone with a burrito and tacos for my wife.

Two cheese one shredded beef enchiladas plate. Really good. Thank you :)

I came here based off the reviews I read. They were not wrong. The food is delicious and authentic. You can tell it's all "home made" fresh and made with love. I got enchiladas plate, some tacos, and a burrito. Everything is yummy. To the guy who took my order, made my food, and packed my food to go... thank you. Everything was organized, napkins, utensils and extra yummy salsa. I def have a new place to eat when I'm in the area. So good. Super happy.

Solid Mexican take out restaurant. Parking lot available. Ordering online adds a few dollars, so I recommend calling on the phone to save a few bucks. Lots of tasty options with burritos, enchiladas, etc. I got the tlayuda, which was a tasty Mexican pizza. Will come back for the mole. Friendly staff. Credit card payment available. Pay extra for the chips and salsa to go. Reasonable prices. Recommend for a quick bite!

This place is great! A lot of variety, and cheap prices. Really enjoyed the chips and guacamole. Also, loved the mole chicken enchiladas. Tried their green smoothie drink, it could use a little more sugar in my opinion. Ended the meal with a flan, which was delicious.

Chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Sooo good.

This was our first time here. We were in the area and looking for a nice cozy little Mexican restaurant, and boy howdy did we find it. I ordered the chicken enchilada combo and my boyfriend ordered the asada burrito. The first bite I took was the rice (I always judge a Mexican restaurant by the quality of the rice) and oh my god I wanted to cry, it was so good. Then I had a bite of beans--almost cried. Finally I had some of my enchiladas and I literally laughed out of joy because the food was so damn tasty. I'd come back here ANY time. I can't believe how yummy everything was.

    Chiles Rellenos more like vomit

I had a delivery. The food was DISGUSTING. the chiles rellenos were too spicy and the chiles were no where to be found. The cheese was a piece of goo. My order was $66.0

Now, our waiter Caroll was probably of the hardest workers I've ever had the pleasure of being served by, and it's almost comedic that I couldn't leave my drink empty for longer for a few seconds before it was infact, topped up. Bottomless drinks really do exist here. On top of that, caroll suggested strawberry lemonade and passion fruit ice tea in lieu of my normal Arnold Palmer that's my go to on account of being out of lemonade. The resulting concoction I've lovingly dubbed: The Susie Summers. Official ratios still being tweaked but: 40% Strawberry lemonade 60% Passion Fruit Iced Tea Garnish with a lemon wedge and sprig of mint. While I had the Black Cow burger it wasn't of paricular note, it was pleasant BUT I did order it medium well, out of an abundance of caution for a new place. I'm very confident that trying it medium rare will likely improve the beef flavor. Overall a tasty burger regardless. However, the chicken pot pie my partner ordered was plated beautifully and had a wonderful puff pastry atop a very savory and delightfully seasoned filling. I definitely think it was a show stopper. I even asked Caroll to surprise me with a random dessert, and let me tell you, the Salted Caramel Apple Cheesecake is what dreams are made of. Very nicely sweet with a filling to knock your socks off. Oh the joys of new sights and smells. Cheers!

If it wasn't for the location, I don't think the restaurant would be nearly as popular. Our server was friendly, but not as attentive as we would've liked. We were seated outside and I found myself looking inside for her on more than one occasion. Even with the good company, I felt the dinner dragging because of this. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Bowl while everyone else had pasta. We enjoyed our food, but agreed that neither the portion nor the flavor entice us enough to come back. (My husband had the steak and mushroom penne, friends had the Chimchurri steak and the wedge salad) The negatives: I had the shrimp risotto and found it blah. The serving was very small - i feel like American portions are often obscenely large (and don't like that), but this was much smaller than average and I was still hungry after eating it. The flavor was ok, but nothing to write home about. And the shrimp were very small - what my husband and I call "bait" shrimp. Not the large shrimp you usually get at a nice restaurant. Since i was still hungry, I ordered a cobbler. It was fine, but not great. Texture was a bit strange - not traditional. Probably won't come back. The food is just not that interesting. It's like the kind of food you'd eat at a Midwestern buffet restaurant.

The tables inside and outside are reserved for customers dining in, which made it nice for this visit since we ordered some food to try out. I ordered the McGriddle Sandwich and the Pistachio latte and my friend ordered the Breakfast Chorizo Burrito and the Strawberry Matcha. We agreed the food and drinks were very delicious, but both of us wanted just a little bit bigger cups to enjoy more of our drinks. The line to order went pretty quickly, however, the wait to get the coffee and food took a little longer than expected. We assumed the team was a little short staffed that day, but regardless, they were working hard to get the food and drinks out as quickly as possible. We thought he was a new employee because he had no clue what he was doing. He had NO personality no interest in general. When he first came to our table he didn't say hello or offer us appetizers or a cocktail. He asked for our dinner order. We ordered the fajita quesadilla and a combo plate. Daniel brought me the wrong taco; the taco was mostly lettuce and cheese very little meat ~ I was surprised because when I ordered this in the past it was excellent and done right (Not his fault tho he did write down my taco order incorrectly). He never came back to our table to check on us. When we were done we asked for a box because we had a lot of food left. He looked at it and brought us a tiny box. What was he thinking?? We asked the bus boy for another and he brought us the correct size. It was hard to get Daniels attention; we tried a few times to flag him down but he wasn't looking at us. We watched him a few different times throughout our time there, to see how he was with the other tables. We came to the conclusion that he looked like a fish out of water. Maybe he was overwhelmed even though the restaurant was a little more than half full last night at 5:30. Then he brought us our check while we were still eating! I told him I wanted to order dessert. Again, he had no clue what he was doing. I suggest the management take a look at this review and address this issue with him. Our experiences here have always been great, been coming for years. We love this place but we would never have Daniel as our server again.
