Tenderloin sandwiches are a popular Indiana thing. Hamilton County sponsors Tenderloin Tuesdays where local businesses offer specials on their breaded tenderloin sandwiches. There is a competition for who serves the best tenderloin and even a "Tenderloin Trail". The Piper had their tenderloin sandwiches on special for $3 off regular prices during the month long event. The Piper is a popular sports bar near Morse Reservoir with a neighborhood bar vibe. A pool table and several electronic games are available for the night crowd. We sat in the inside dining area, but there is also seating on the patio and at the bar. Sports and beer decor cover the walls. Michaela, our server, was super friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly. Michaela kept our glasses full. The breaded tenderloins are large and served on a fresh toasted sesame seed bun. The breading tastes flavorful and pork is freshly prepared. The sandwich was served with a dijonaise sauce and lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. The kettle style potato chips were delicious as well. We love going to the Piper for a drink / quick bite! The tater tots with cheese are out of this world good & I love the wings! The servers / bartenders really take the time to get to know you and the owners are always so present! It's a great place to hang out with friends. They also let me hang out with my pup on the patio, and bring him water! The only thing I wish was different was not allowing smoking on the patio. I really love sitting outside, but I don't like to inhale smoke. read more

We decided to go check this place out yesterday and all in all it was a solid 3.5 stars. We got garlic Parmesan chicken wings and a smash burger. The food was good it was service and execution that suffered. Service was slow and special request not executed. Cocktails were good. The place was clean and they offered outdoor seating as well. They sell pull tabs in a machine. The music was old rock and wasn't blaring so we enjoyed that. Think good music but not so loud you can't hear one another talking. The menu is small. read more

don't sleep on the piper yall! this grateful dead themed bar is noblesville isn't your average dive, the food is fire and the vibes are on point. most of us opted for the smash burger or the chicken wings and both options were delicious. i'm a sucker for good fries and i loved the crispness of theirs. can't wait to go back and try more when the sun isn't beating down on us! lol read more

I love the Piper! It has dive bar vibes but with amazing food. The menu is small but everything is excellent. On our last visit we shared the trash can nachos, ribs and mac & cheese. Yum! The drinks are also delightful reasonably priced, tasty cocktails and an impressive beer selection. read more

The Piper is my FAVORITE restaurant in Noblesville. I've eaten there several times when busy and not busy, tried most items on the menu, and have had different drinks...all have been fantastic! The staff is very personable and helpful. Live music is great to listen to just as much as the rock 'n roll continually playing during open hours. The walls are very interesting to look at...lots of interesting items & artwork! Bathrooms are immaculate as is the entire restaurant...big plus!! I've had the chance to visit the piper twice. On the weekends they have live music and the place can get really busy around 8pm. The menu isn't big, but it has a lot of good options. I've tried the wings, the nachos and the Shanghai sticky ribs. All have been super good! The ribs were very popular as well as many tables were enjoying them. I paid with my card and gave the waitress Savannah her tip in cash so I drew a line across the tip on the receipt which came out to $75.21 for me and the guys. A day later my card statements say 85.21. Don't care about the $10 but I do care about why she thinks it's okay to do this to people. That giving HERSELF a tip is good. Have been wanting to try this new spot adjacent to Morse Lake. It is not a scenic view-it's in a strip mall but a nice addition to the dining scene. We opted for the pulled pork quesadilla which came with guacamole, sour cream and pico de galo and it was great and huge. Also had the tenderloin and found it moist and excellent. They have a nice wine list featuring cheap and not so cheap wines and several beer taps. Excellent service and checking in on us. Hope to return to try the smash burger. read more

This is a newer bar and grill in the area that is definitely more bar than grill as they had a very small food menu. Most of us got the smash burger which I was told was just okay. I got the house salad with ranch dressing and added chicken, it was definitely not worth the 13 dollars as it really was small, missing things listed on the menu that would be on the salad but the worst part it had a chemical taste to it! Lunch: The food was okay, although the smash burger was too salty and tots were overcooked. Large portions though. The music from the speakers was too loud, it was hard to have a conversation. The waitress was efficient enough and brought our food promptly, but she was such a grump from the very beginning! Not one smile or extra word to convey any friendliness whatsoever. We thought she was mad at us for some reason, or that it was a place for younger people and we weren't really welcome. And no water refills offered. Pretty terrible service. Have been to the Piper a few times now and happy to say it hasn't disappointed at all. The food is very solid - we've had the tenderloin (fantastic!), nachos (setup so the toppings cover ALL the chips), and the wings are phenomenal! Also, they have a pretty long list of local beers on tap. Not just the typical IPA's but a handful of others from Bad Dad, Three Floyd's, etc. Overall a great place with very good food! 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back again. read more
