Had this place bookmarked ever since it opened here and went to try this out for the first time. I ended up getting the tri-tip plate with garlic mashed potatoes and mac n cheese as my sides. Honestly it's alright, the tri tip with the chimichurri sauce was pretty good and very tender. Meanwhile the mashed potatoes were just mediocre overall and with butter makes it slightly better. The mac n cheese was mediocre too at best. The bread they provided with the plate was amazing thought. This is a 3.5 for me. I wish there were half stars! I really wanted to love this place. It's close to my house and new. I admit I am not the target audience for this restaurant. Healthy is not my top priority in food.The great: the French fries were perfect! Hot and crispy! The macadamia white chocolate and the triple chocolate cookies were delicious. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The good: the burger had a good flavor. The spinach salad with poppy dressing was also nice. The bad: it was suffocating hot inside. No AC? We were forced to eat outside which is annoying with flies. They didn't have mustard at the time. I was not a fan of the stubborn brand soda. I'm a coca cola girl. If you like clean food. First time here. Food was delicious but pricey. I liked that they have a non carb option for their bowls. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. It's nice to have a more quick service place nearby that serves veggies! Feel like that's rare nowadays. The space is clean and easy flow and employees are nice and excited. My biggest advice is to get the empanadas. If you think one is enough, get three. You won't be disappointed. I liked the chicken more but the beef was good too. The French fries? Dreamy. Hot, crunchy, delicious! Both the regular and sweet potato. The burger buns were nice and soft, the burger itself had too much char flavor for my taste. Some of the meat was a bit tough/chewy, but otherwise the bowl was quite delicious. The chimichurri was good, but different than other chimichurris I've had before, as this one was thicker and more of a paste. My husband chose the en fuego burger (double smoked sweet and spicy millionaire's bacon, local avocado, pepper jack cheese, pickled red onions, lettuce and housemade jalapeño aioli) and sweet potato fries as his side. I lucked out in going here today for their 'official' opening. The staff members are very pleasant and helpful. They had a wheel for you to spin before you entered the restaurant for a free food item. was a very cleaver idea. Inside there were lots of cooks and preparers behind the counter and all the menu choices sounded delicious. I ordered the Grass-fed Tri-tip bowl with veggies. My free item was a side dish and I picked Roasted Brussel sprouts and I had a glass of Chardonnay. I decided to sit outside on their covered patio and in no time at all, my food arrived by Josh, who was very nice. The food was yummy and very moist!! There was also a lot of it!! Which means I have another meal!! The only negative is that it was rather noisy inside and out. They have HH from 2pm to 5pm and all the food items sounded delicious!! I received an offer of buy one get one for first responders, military and veterans , so I decided to come try it out today. I came just after 2 PM and was also surprised to see they offer happy hour specials between 2 and 5 PM. I had the classic American burger, well done, which was done to perfection. I also ordered a mango craft beer. (50% off-happy hour!). For my second meal, which I'm taking home , I ordered a bowl with mashed potato as the base, then topped with butternut squash and chicken. I will try that later when I get home. I'm sure it'll be just as good as the burger. Nice staff , friendly, easy parking and their air-conditioning kicks ass. I wanna start out by saying the food is always really good and this is the first time I've had a bad experience. I walked in went to look if my food was at the pick up section because I had gotten a notification that it was done. There was nothing there, and then when I went to the registers, multiple people just looked at me and didn't acknowledge me at all. I will say they did look a little bit busy but at the same time you can at least let me know. Hey I'll be right with you and then mind you gave me the wrong food because he didn't speak with his chest and I didn't hear what name he said so I just said salmon and bowl and he said Yes. Hopefully this place doesn't start going downhill cause that was my first bad experience but just cause you're busy doesn't mean you don't have to acknowledge your customers even if it's to tell them to give you a second. read more

So far, I've had the burger here the wings, the empanadas, and all of it has been delicious. Great food & good service... their drink offerings are really tasty and unique and their onsite home brewed ipa is very good! There are a few tv's going with mostly sports and they are not too loud or obtrusive to add a nice pub element which add cool gastropub vibe -) If there are any downsides, it would be getting enough napkins because they only give you one per order and I can never seem to let one be enough so maybe it's a personal issue tbh. Also the fact that you have to order at the counter and then wait or ask for any needed service here may be more efficient for them but a bit challenging for guests as it's not anticipated or convenient. I guess it is now the new eating out model that everybody's using nowadays and it's only a moderate point to expect and understand. I fell in love with their chicken Thai curry bowl. I've had it with cauliflower and then I had it with brussels sprouts tonight and it's delicious. I love that I can walk the dog down there to 20 minute round-trip perfect--so glad they came to the neighborhood. We went there before the Long Beach Playhouse the other night as well. I visited this establishment with my mother for evening rations the evening of the 7th of August 2025. We ordered at the counter then we were seated. I ordered Tri Tip, French Fries and Mac and Cheese. I used one of the all gender washrooms and it was out of toilet paper though paper towels WERE available. Fortunately I didn't need to use the toilet paper. The cleanliness of the washroom was satisfactory. It seemed that it took longer than it should have for the food to be served. I would normally ding this establishment one point for that. I have a bone to pick with the personal appearance of at least one of the employees at this establishment. At least one of the employees wore his shirt untucked. I consider that to be very unprofessional. Normally I would ding this establishment one point for that as I am OCD about that. However the guy who did check on us did tuck his shirt in... good on him for looking professional. Both my mother and I noticed a great many flies flying around and on the ceiling in this establishment. After my food was served I had to constantly use a free hand to play defence to prevent flies from landing on my food! The presence of so many flies was a huge nuisance and a MAJOR aggravation. For that reason alone I am giving this establishment the lowest possible score. My mother told me she does not want to come back to this establishment. If I was to assign a letter grade as is done in school this establishment would get an F. read more

Loved our visit to Bushfire Kitchen! The house white sangria was light, sweet, and super easy to sip on. The salmon plate was cooked just right -- flavorful and moist without being overdone. The En Fuego burger was such a fun surprise with that sweet-and-spicy bacon twist! The BBQ chicken plate hit the spot, especially with the creamy mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts on the side. My absolute favorite, though, was the Gaucho steak sandwich -- that chimichurri sauce was insanely good and tied everything together perfectly. We finished with their cookie, which came out warm, gooey, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Such a satisfying way to end the meal. I've been here twice already because it is that good! The staff are super friendly. They all seem to enjoy being there. I had the strawberry spinach salad with homemade poppy seed dressing. It's truly the best I've ever had. The salad is extremely fresh and the dressing is superb. My husband had the salmon bowl with Mac n cheese plus mashed potatoes (he's a carboholic ) The Mac N cheese was like homemade meaning as good as it gets. The salmon was perfectly cooked.
