Delicious, fresh, healthy food that is reasonably priced. You can't beat it and the variety on the menu is awesome! Tried the peri peri chicken with mixed vegetables and roasted sweet potato with a side of the Korean cauliflower. It was all SO GOOD, the chicken was so fresh and perfectly grilled. None of the vegetables were overaly oiled or greasy which is hard to find now a days. Everything is perfectly toasted and seasoned to perfection. Likely my last visit...the good food is no longer enough to keep me coming back. The service at Bushfire is typically sub par, the food is lukewarm and nearly every time I order takeout, something is wrong with the order. Tonight, we were dining in but the employee didn't ask if it was to go or for dine in and he brought our food in a paper bag and set it down on the table. I told him we were dining in - we were seated at the table - and he said, "Sorry, my bad. I thought it was to go." He didn't offer to bring plates or even offer silverware. I had to ask for it and we ate our meal out of paper bowls. The couple next to us sent their order back 2 times and it came back to them with a hair in it. Not sure what's happening at Bushfire, but I won't be finding out because I've been there for the last time. read more

First let me say Elena was fantastic. Ok, here goes...this place is located in a strip mall with other convenient food choices. It has very limited indoor seating as tons of outdoor seating. The temperature was somewhere in the chilly zone (in the 50's) We had a party of 5 and a baby-no choice but to sit outside. There are lots of outdoor heaters, unfortunately NONE of them had propane in them. They did warn us. But seriously, NONE work? Hmmm management should go fill the tanks. Also, it was dirty outside, wrappers and trash...not a great start. This is a walk up and order your food. It all looks delicious and smells heavenly. Our food- looked great but it was a bit of a disappointment. Our food came out at all different times so most of it was cold by the time we each got our food. My favorite was the Grandmas MAC n Cheese. The Gaucho Steak Sandwich could've used more meat but what was there tasted great! I really liked the chimichuri sauce. The focaccia was a bit to heavy on the seasoning for me. It seemed to compete with the chimichurri. Fries were really good. Mashed garlic potatoes were cold by the time all our food came out so it was hard to assess. read more

I was excited to try out this restaurant after seeing so many good reviews and also by it being marketed as a healthy eatery. While the food was in fact very healthy, the taste did not live up to expectations. I ordered the beef empanada and Thai chicken curry bowl (with brown rice as a base, cauliflower and Tri tip as add ones). The beef empanada came with chimichurri sauce and the sauce tasted great. The empanada bread was flakey and delicious, but the inside filling has the beef grounded up a bit too much for my liking; I expected it to be more like ripped pieces of beef instead of grounded to the tiniest bit pieces of beef. The meat wasn't seasoned very well so it was a bit bland. The curry sauce on the Thai chicken curry bowl was really good, and I really enjoyed the Tri tip (although I would've preferred the meat to be cut more thin, it is hard to eat large chunks of meat). The brown rice was a bit strange and tasted a little too sweet and the cauliflower was not seasoned well and a bit tasteless. I hate to be bagging on prices, but the empanadas was $4.95 for a single one, and the Thai chicken curry with add-one came out to be over $20. My boyfriend got the brisket bowl (with basmati rice and roasted squash) and Brussel sprouts. He seemed to like it, but he also was still hungry after eating it still and we ended up making more food at home. Perhaps the dine in experience would've been better and we are excited to try it in person when we are able to. The positive is that the food is very healthy and made reasonably quickly! read more

I'm definitely a fan of Bushfire because the food is just out right good! This isn't a fancy spot like Espadin or Goat and Vine but it's up there when it comes to food. They don't have a whole lot of vegetarian options but what they have isn't too bad. For this not to be a bar I'm very impressed with their beer selection. Their house beer is very good in my opinion both the Blonde and the IPA are winners and they only cost six bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes they have guest beers from Stone and local breweries but those beers are about eight bucks. read more

This was my first time eating here. Ordered fish, rice, and vegetables. Rice was over cooked and fish undercooked. They were kind enough to let me exchange for something else. So, I order the BBQ chicken, Mac and cheese and vegetables. This was good, however you can see the cooks behind the counter and the person preparing my food was wearing gloves, but she was touching her face, had her hand on her hips, touching the door in and out of the kitchen, and the wall leading to the bathroom. Best empanadas in Temecula!!! Found this little gem while out for a walk with the wife during the beginning of the pandemic. They were offering happy hour take out beers for half price and we went for the empanadas to pair with a couple of IPAs. Been back many times since and their burgers, protein bowls, salads, and burgers are to dye for! Great food, great service, reasonable prices, and kind atmosphere. Called to place an order for takeout and was told that they only accept orders for takeout placed online. I expressed that I was driving and wouldn't be able to do that and they apologized in that condescending way that says the words "I'm sorry" while sending the message "I don't care. You're annoying me." How about making things easier for potential customers, rather than acting like you're doing us a favor by LETTING us buy from you. Three out of the last three visits of picking up our take out Bushfire has messed up and missed items our order. This time, on Mother's Day - I even mentioned, very kindly that the previous two visits our orders missed items. I asked them to please double check that the order is complete. The manager, Channel says 'everything is there...' so I believed her and didn't stand there and check the order. I get home and of course they missed my mom's brisket bowl. When I called back they were not willing to Door Dash on their cost our missing item for our mom. They were not willing to refund the entire order either. I find it very sad that an establishment like Bushfire has such bad service, including the manager on duty who I spoke to as she was finishing up the order. We get take out because it's a chaotic location and the seating and ordering is horrendous. Warning to those getting take out. Always check your order. I ordered from this place 3 times. First time sucked me in. It was fantastic. I loved it so much I chose it for my birthday dinner. Unfortunately one time was the only time it was good. Birthday dinner was completely burnt. You can see in the picture. Was really hard to chew. People make mistakes. So of course I give it another round. I paid almost 20 bucks for this tiny salad. I love Bushfire! It's hard to find tasty eateries that also cook food with good quality ingredients. They also have healthy options if you want to eat healthy. I often follow Whole 30, and I feel like I have lots of options at Bushfire. I love that their food is fresh. In general, my husband likes to get the En Fuego burger with a side of Mac and cheese and I get the Tri tip bowl with garlic mashed potatoes and butternut squash. Both dishes are so good. Never had Bushfire until this evening. Ordered in for dinner. What a good decision! Ordered tri tip, chicken, Mac n cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, and grilled veggies. SO GOOD! trip tip was very juicy and flavorful. Chicken was a little dry but that's exactly how I like it! It was cooked perfectly for me. Mac n cheese was creamy with a little pepper kick on the back end. Garlic mashed potatoes were whipped and amazingly creamy. Grilled veggies and peppers were awesome. You could taste the grill marks on the veggies. Carrots were even still crisp and not soggy at all. Can't believe I've never had this before but you bet your sweet cheeks I'll be getting it more often in the future! read more
