Busy Boy. Omg. Food is so good, really good. Clean. Staff are always nice. To order, we have never stood in a line. We happen to always walk up and order. No waiting. My husband always gets gyro meat. I always get lamb. Tender and great taste. We just had the hummus. Yummy. Served with pita. We are always satisfied. The worst is the traffic on Hillcroft. So try to come south on Hillcroft. If you are heading north on Hillcroft you have to turn left into Busy Boy parking lot it is like parting of the Red Sea (an act, miracle from God) just for someone to let you across. read more

Let me hop on the Philly cheesesteak bandwagon! It is consistently delicious! I've tried the chicken sandwich, and chicken shawarma, but NOTHING tops the Philly cheesesteak! It is not greasy, it is cheesy, great meat texture, and a big size (footlong). I love to mix the spicy chili sauce with their garlic sauce, and dip my sandwich and fries! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Best Burger in town with a BOMB-Digity garlic sauce. The burger most and full of flavor, its just not a regular burger with lettuce , ketchup, tomatoes and cheese, this burger has so much flavor that you can taste at first bite with juices dripping down your hand. Their french fries are yummy too, nice a crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Dip that with your bond-digity garlic suace and your in heaven. My second favorite is the GYRO, I never like gyro but when I had it here, I was screaming for more... EXCELLENT place for sandwiches .... Great service and burger reccomendation surpassed my expectations. There are very few places I will eat a burger from, like at most 3. I won't even eat burgers made by friends or family who rave their burgers are to die for or the best even if every friend and family member said so. Went here for a Tuesday lunch. I often lunch in this part of town, so I generally just follow the Yelp advice and try new places each week. Most of the reviews for this place seemed amazing, so obviously I was gonna check it out. I ordered a chicken shwarma sandwich and my gf ordered your standard turkey sub. The turkey sub was what one can expect, I suppose. Nothing special. The chicken shwarma was good but not great. They have a self serve station with 3 sauces. I can't remember all of them, but the one I tried was a zesty mango sauce that definitely made the meal for me. If I go back to this establishment, my meal will undoubtedly revolve around that good stuff. To sum it up, the food wasn't anything amazing but it sufficed. I'll probably go back at some point to try some of their more ethnic Mediterranean dishes, which likely have more "oomf" to them than the standard american lunch fare. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was okay. Kids liked it except for when it fell apart. I ordered one with fries (combo) and they were seasoned and tasted pretty good. I will be back to try out some other subs, sandwiches, and platters next time I'm in the mood for halal sandwiches. The competition around this area is pretty fierce so you need to stand out somehow. Gyro was decent although the tahziki sauce was a little bland. Chopped tomatoes and onions made it nice and neat to eat, unlike some gyros that are sloppy and messy. The side Greek salad had good flavor and ample ingredients although the lettuce was a little brown. BF ordered a Philly cheese steak. I was drawn here by the good reviews. Unfortunately, I've had too many awesome shwarmas from other restaurants to see the appeal of the ones from here. I ordered the chicken shwarma wrap with a Greek salad, and a side dish of hummus for our toddler. My wife ordered the Falafel plate with baba ganoush. My older brother ordered the chicken shwarma sandwich. My nephew got the chicken tenders and fries. He's 8, so what can you say? :P Anyway, the chicken shwarma had very little flavor. I was less than pleased but made due since the salad was decent. My wife liked the falafel and said it was moist, but we both agreed the hummus and baba ganoush were off. My theory is they had too much tahini in their hummus. My poor brother... I feel bad because this was my suggestion for our lunch :( He HATED his shwarma. So much so he ordered a beef shwarma plate & but he didn't like that either... By then I was feeling pretty bad, and suggested we go to Droubi's down the road to make things right. We would've left right then and there for Droubi's, where shwarmas have flavor; but my nephew liked the chicken tenders and fries. I actually stole one of his fries and thought they weren't bad. Oh man the crispy chicken sandwich had me with the first bite...why haven't I been here before? No idea, but I'm definitely coming here more often. The wife had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and she loved it. The service is great and when we went it wasn't too busy. Great place for some delicious burgers/sandwiches/wraps. AH-MAZING!!! So good that I really wish they open a branch in Orlando. Ambience was clean, with lots of place to sit, and a great interior. We tried their Philly cheese steak, baklava and iced coffee. The bun for the sub was soft, light and fresh. Meat was flavorful, tender and would melt in your mouth. Iced coffee was just the best I've tried had in years!!!! And so was balaclava. I have lived in Middle East and know the authentic baklava! This was it, if not better. They packaged both sandwiches nicely in foil in individual foam boxes. It was very fresh. I saw their online menu and see they also sell burgers. I gathered that many folks call in for take-out and that's why the person behind the counter welcomed me by asking if I had called. After a pause to skim their wall menu, which had a lot of variety, I settled for the Pepper Steak Rice Plate and a fountain drink for under eleven bucks--not bad. The portion was fair and the food was delicious and well cooked As this was my second visit, I can honestly say that it is one of my favorite halal joints in Houston since they offer good food for an affordable price. The atmosphere, however, is average and does not measure up to the food served. All in all, I know I will be back soon to try something different from their menu--maybe the meatball pasta? So glad to have checked this place out after reading all the reviews.. 4 of us went to dinner last night and noticed the place was pretty packed. The menu was huge and there was something for everyone. We got the wings, lamb wrap, kabab platter and Philly cheesesteak- everyone was super happy with their meal. What took it the extra mile was that they had a little condiment bar with unlimited sauces (nowadays restaurants tend to be so cheap with their sauces that this was quite refreshing). Also, the service was top notch. We ended our meal with the chocolate crepe and left super satisfied. We've found the new family favorite joint in Houston and will be recommending it to everyone! read more

I normally hate writing a bad review about a place that a I love but yesterday's service was beyond horrible. I ordered the Turkinini and quickly went to do a little shopping down the street. I got back within like 10-15 min to pick up my food. When I got home to eat, my food was literally cold! So I call Busy Boy to tell them about it because it felt like it wasn't pressed in the panini maker or warmed up or anything. The guy told me it was bc I took too long to pick up my food so it got cold! What?! The cheese wasn't melted and the bread was literally freezing!!! I've had this sandwich so many times before and it's always been amazing but yesterday was like eating a cold turkey sandwich that I could have made at home. I understand that my food can get cold while waiting but not THIS cold and then the fact that the worker had the nerve to blame meee and my time for the cold food?!!
