The Greek salad was fresh and delicious. It went nice with the meats. As for the French fries, not crunchy enough and too starchy. This meal also came with pita bread which was a nice addition. At $13, it is definitely on the high end compared to halal guys and gyro king. Overall, solid dish and solid halal restaurant. However, when I opened my Yelp app and realized Busy Boy was killing it, the hubby and I drove over for a Philly cheesesteak fixing. The restaurant looks like some of the others in this shopping center. Big enough space and nothing really fancy. There were just a few people in the restaurant. The staff seemed really nice! I noticed they had a condiment bar of sauces. I love condiment bars! Giving people the flexibility to make something of their own choosing is always great. In addition to ordering the Philly cheesesteak, my husband also wanted to try the spicy chicken sandwich. The food came out, and it didn't look half bad. However, I wish there was more color on the bread. It looked pressed but not hot. Both sandwiches tasted ok, and see that's the problem. There wasn't anything that tasted bad, but there was nothing memorable. My Philly cheesesteak craving was partially satisfied, and I won't need another for a while I imagine. The spicy chicken was padded down and thin, and this may seem offensive so I want to say ahead of time I don't mean to say that the food tastes bad, but the spicy chicken tasted similar to a McDonald's spicy chicken sandwich. I'm a fan of busy boy for years, they're friendly, provide great service, good prices, and quality food. The meatball sandwich, kafta sandwich, cheeseburger, and phillies are all really good. The reason I took away one star is because the frito chili pie I got was absolutely too salty cause of the Fritos but to even out the saltiness they should add more chili cause there was absolutely way too little chili on the chips and if it's hurts to add the chili bumping up the price to $4.99 won't bother the customers much for a greater quality plate. read more

Their middle eastern platters like the chicken shawarma plate are also really good I get it with rice and hummus on the side. It also comes with pita bread. The portions are well sized and will fill you up. The regular fries are very good but I wasn't a fan of the chili cheese fries. It wouldn't have been as noticeable if they were filled with meat. The chicken shawarma however was out of this world good. Not an easy treat to find in Houston. The sandwich side looks like it could use some renovation because when you walk into the dessert side of the location, it looks like a completely different place. Hands down one of my top 5 restaurants in my books. When my office was close to this restaurant I would definitely eat here consistently. Anything you order from here is made fresh, hearty, and delicious. The staff is nice, and never miss anything on your order. waaauuuuuww been meaning to try this place off of a recommendation of a friend for about a year and a half now and I'M SO GLAD I DID we didn't get their famous cheesteaks/chicken sandwiches bc we were craving something mediterranean. We ordered the lamb plate with hummus and french fries and then a falafel wrap with a side of baba ghanoush (sp?) The lamb was cooked perfectly tender and juicy and SO flavorful. the fries were seasoned very well and tasted great when dipped into any of their wonder sauces/spreads. that HUMMUS was what gave this place the 5 star from me. it wow'ed me completely!!! it tasted storebought in a good way, like a mass manufactured tried-and-true recipe that should be earning millions of dollars worldwide. you HAVE to try this hummus. The new cafe section is a great addition to the area- it easily became my new favorite cafe in Houston because of the quality of the food and the great service. The staff was very patient as the beeline of kids with me tried the different flavors of gelato and placed their orders. My favorite item ordered was definitely the mango gelato - super creamy and really flavorful (think real Alphonso mango), but they may change as I eat my way through the rest of the menu!
