He was very patient and answered all the questions and concerns and made sure we understood everything that was happening. Working with a big dog barking is annoying sometimes, but I appreciate that it didn't bother Carlos and he worked and did as much as he could each day he was here. Sean the Owner came by, helped out when needed, and I loved that he made sure his guys ate lunch and had lots of water. Tony on the first day came and did a lot of digging. Tony dug dirt and helped Carlos with the new pipes. Carlos made sure everything was working, even with the little troubles here and there for the most part he was very professional. They relocated both of my water spickets. Moved the pipes up top instead of on the ground. My landlord asked if they could get some extra video for HOA and they were great accomodating that task. I was very satisfied at the end of the day, Carlos always let me know he was leaving for the day, and letting me know what time he would be arriving in the morning. My landlord has used them for many years and I can see why, they are truly a great company and take pride in their work. I am not sure how much they charge but they are reasonable. The owner Shawn in extremely rude, he acts like he knows everything but in fact does not. He doesn't know how to talk to his employees correctly, he down plays them. He talks to homeowners rudely, I don't know how this guy owns or runs a business. His office is so unorganized, you call them and it just rings and rings and they delay appointments. Butter is over prices, it's better to go with another company that values your time, home and service request. I would give this place a -5 if I could. read more

Find a different plumber. I won't let these con artists back into my house. If I could give them zero stars I would. Unprofessional, overpriced, low quality. I think that sums it up. These guys flat out lied to us when they sold us our hot water heater. We had a tank heater that dies on us. They sold us a tankless heater. They didn't tell us they were using us as test for a new system. The install looks like it was done by a bunch of morons. Lines routed like oragami. The unit was put on the wrong wall. The craftsmanship is horrible. They cut extra holes in the wall because the electrician was "having a bad day". This unit was sold to us as maintenance free with a 12 year warranty. The technicians also forgot to properly install the drain line so we ended up with water damage and had to replace drywall on our ceiling and wall in the room under the water heater. More "savings". They charged us to come out and fix their incompetence. Two years later we are getting cold water. We call and schedule a tech to have them come check it out. They were late for our appointment by several hours. Finally they reroute a different tech to us. When they finally get here they just call customer service for the heater. They charged us for the service call and for them calling customer service (apparently sitting on hold is considered "diagnostic service". Find someone else to work on your plumbing. We certainly won't be calling Butter again. read more

Used them for a repair job on a garbage disposal. They charged me$175 for the repair, and quoted price for replacement if it failed again. When it stopped working again in a few hours, it took several days for them to get back out here, and then denied the original replacement quote, and tried to charge me almost triple what they originally quoted. They also refused any full or partial credit for a repair that lasted less than a day. Avoid these people at all costs. And by the way, someone else replaced my unit for less than half of what they wanted to charge me. read more

Our hot water tank sprang a leak recently. The previous owner of our home advised us to use Butter Plumbing for any plumbing issues. I called Butter Plumbing late one evening and they answered the phone quickly. The technician on the phone arranged to have a service technician arrive at my home the very next morning at 10:30am. When Carlos arrived, he was neat, clean, prompt, and very educated of his task at hand. Carlos assessed the hot water tank and concluded it needed replacement. He offered me three different warranty packages available with their new hot water tanks. Carlos assisted me with the contract and came by the next day at the same time to install the new unit. Buyer Beware of Butter Plumbing. They won't even come to your house unless you agree to pay $69 up front for them just to show up - and that fee is NOT applied to any services. They charged me $270 for something I probably could have taken care of myself (change out a cartridge on a tub faucet handle), if I didn't have house guests coming this weekend - and that was on top of the $69 service call fee. The tech also quoted me OUTRAGEOUS prices for the other, very simple things I needed to have fixed (changing out 2 other cartridges in 2 sink faucets - $176 for EACH faucet!) He then said I should just get new faucets - which I could purchase myself - and he would gladly install them for me for $350.00 EACH! WTH? If you live in the Summerlin area, please be aware that Butter Plumbing apparently thinks the area is spelled: S-u-c-k-e-r-l-i-n Modest Proposal to ALL Plumbers: If there are over 100 YouTube videos showing how to replace a part that costs less than $20 at Home Depot, then you really should NOT be charging $339.00 for that service - especially when it only took 15-20 minutes! read more

I can't say enough nice things about jeremy. If I owned a plumbing company . I'd want him to work for me. He really does care about the customer. He went above and beyond to make sure that everything worked and that I got the right equipment that would last. The price was also very reasonable. I used Butter Plumbing for the first time today. For years, we had a contract with Yes! Plumbing. Their technicians, whether HVAC or plumbing, were almost always tidy; they were always polite and competent. But boy were they expensive. I left the country for a while. When I returned, I went into a rental house so wasn't allowed to choose my own plumber when needed. Now that I'm in my own house again, I needed a plumber to hook up my clothes dryer and test the washer. I knew I'd need more dryer vent hose. I called Yes but was told that they don't do that. Guess the job just wasn't big enough for them. So, who to call? I looked in "Solera Star" and saw ads for two plumbers, Butter and Jack. I called Butter first, because I see their trucks so often in my old neighborhood of Solera Anthem. Maureen answered promptly and immediately made me smile. She was confident, professional, efficient, helpful and polite. She scheduled a plumber to come to my new house; scheduled him for 1:30 in the afternoon of the same day I called! She contacted the plumber, Raffi, to ensure he'd have vent hose with him. Raffi called around 11:30 and said he was running ahead of schedule. He asked if he could come earlier. He showed up looking professional (clean, tidy, well-groomed) and put on booties to protect my carpeting even though he never went into a carpeted room -- unlike the Salesman and the Installer from ADT; the first of whom refused to wear booties and the second of whom said "I forgot mine. Sorry" and then proceeded to spend many hours in my house, on my new carpet, in his work boots. Anyhow, Raffi determined what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. I asked for a senior discount, so he applied that. He did what needed to be done. He also showed me that the movers had hooked the washer's cold water pipe to the hot water and vice versa. He fixed that. He ran both the washer and the dryer to ensure they worked. He asked me where I would like the appliances placed; how far from the walls, how far apart, etc. and then single handedly moved them. He cleaned the appliances. When he was done, he asked what he could do for the $69 service fee. Even though I'm in a newly constructed home, I had a concern about water in the kitchen taking too long to heat. He and I discussed my concern and options. Although he could have sold me either one of two products, he recommended a "wait and see" approach which cost me nothing. When I need a plumber, I will call Butter Plumbing. If I enter into a maintenance contract like I had for many years with Yes Plumbing, one where they come out twice a year (beginning of winter, beginning of summer), it will be with Butter Plumbing. They are every bit as good a Yes Plumbing, but cost less (who doesn't) and they aren't so big for their britches that they refuse small jobs. We seniors often need to hire things done that we are no longer capable of doing ourselves. The jobs aren't big but you could make a living off of a million small jobs. Butter seems to get that; Yes Plumbing obviously doesn't, so Butter got today's business and will get all future business; and they get a great review on Yelp; and I will recommend them when my neighbors ask if I can recommend a good plumber. I like both Raffi and Maureen a LOT. Great customer service. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

I want to thank Jeremy, Margaret, and Sean from Butter Plumbing for the great work setting up appointments and installing plumbing and a gas heater. We have been dealing with an unethical company we hired to build a pool (our first pool). With no concern, they destroyed our beautiful backyard and installed the wrong pool heater for the Las Vegas climate (they installed an electric heater that works in a humid climate, NOT a dry climate) and in the wrong place/did not follow city plans. Butter Plumbing has been picking up the slack left behind. We are still working on getting the backyard to its original beautiful stage. It has been a nightmare. I had an emergency situation happen with a tenants kitchen sink leaking. We weren't sure what was causing the leak as there was nothing we could see. Due to the amount of water that was leaking I had to get someone out ASAP to avoid any issues. Anyways, after calling 7 different plumbing companies this was the only one who was actually able to go out on short notice. They were on top of communication and made payment so easy. Nasty, rude, dishonest! I requested an email quote to replace a 2013 "Butter" installed water heater. Victoria called me on my work phone against my wishes, then emailed a nasty message which I will retain, stating that my DEMAND for a free quote and not pay their $99 service fee for the quote was against company policy?! I made No demand! All I wanted was a quote! Got quotes from other plumbing companies on yelp within an hour. Removed Butter Plumbing from my contact list. I would never use this company again. They put a new wax seal in my toilet and charged $475.00 an hour for labor and a $78.00 service charge. I spoke to the owner of Butter Plumbing to complain and he promised to call me back once he spoke to the plumber who did the job. We weren't very happy with our experience. We requested a quote on the phone for a new water heater and they refused to give us one. We should've stopped there, but we decided to pay the $69 fee to have someone come out and look at our water heater. It of course needed to be replaced and then they quoted us a price that was quite a bit higher than the place we ended up going with. I suppose it was our fault for paying $69 to have them come out. I'm sad to be leaving this review since my first interaction went so well when Milo came out to seal the gas line into my laundry room. Which is the reason why I wanted to give repeat business to them for possible repair/replacement of my water heater. However, as anyone that works late shift work and has to wake up early for personal appointments and operate on next to no sleep knows, it's extremely frustrating when those appointments aren't met and no notice is given. Two times I made an appointment for a tech to come out. The first time, their dispatcher called me AFTER expected arrival time to say he was late, I forgave it and rescheduled. The second time the tech ran late with no notice and no ETA for his possible arrival, once I proactively called their office. I canceled the appointment and am now going with a hopefully more reliable service. I may use this company again in the future since Milo made such a great first impression but it's not likely. read more

Called them because our kitchen faucet went bad. They sent a nice rep out who said he could sell us a new faucet for $900 and $300 to install if we bought our own. We bought a new lifetime warranty Delta and paid $100 to have it installed. Be careful if you live in a retirement community. These people are very expensive! I bought a Delta which was also guaranteed for life for $139 and Plumbing Solutions charged me $120 for the installation. Watch out for Butter !!!!! read more

Had butter plumbing out to try and fix my fire place because we couldn't get it to turn on, long story short it was an additional $65 from the original call fee for him to show us it works (nothing broken) The first time I try it myself after the tech leaves and it's still not working for us. So $130 later and my fireplace is not working. I called and tried to be cool and figure it out but they want $65 to send another technician out to do the same thing they already did.. Which means another $130 total, $260 to be shown how to turn my fireplace on.. Was referred by my aunt and we were really let down, I hate posting bad reviews but this is not fair at all. read more

If I could give them, including Shawn the owner, zero stars I would. I've had no hot water and scheduled a visit for a heater they installed in October a week ago. After trying to tell me they'd need to reschedule for a different day, and me protesting because I had no hot water they sent Shawn. He was rude from the moment he walked in and he said he was doing me a favor not charging me for service (I have a one year labor warranty from them according to my installation paper work). This is after he and his office manager spoke to each other on speakerphone In front of me and acknowledged that his tech that did the original install was not competent and no longer working for the company. I had a water leak in the main line going into house from the water heater. On a Saturday late afternoon, Daniel came out and fixed the leak. But there had been water damage . He returned on Sunday and fixed a temporary stand to move the heater. When the leakage was dried and the restoration done, Daniel came back and put everything back as originally was. Their business model is they charge $70 for service call unless there's an expensive repair in which they waive the $70. I have really enjoyed having Butter Plumbing come out. The last time they came out a technician missed a room he should have looked in for a water leak. When I called them and asked them to send him back out to check that area they agreed and sent him back out no charge. They are very reasonable and nice people. I have been doing business with Butter Plumbing for several years now (I can't even remember how long!). This most recent job was for installing 4 bathroom sink faucets and 1 kitchen faucet, along with all the angle stops, and a toilet in my guest bath. I purchased the faucets elsewhere, using Butter angle stops (100-year warranty!) and Butter toilet (with warranty!). Kenneth and Terrence did an excellent job. It took 2 days, due in part to their prior commitments, but they did not skimp on their commitment or their professionalism. They also replaced a cartridge in the master bath tub. After all the removals and replacements, they thoroughly tested all systems to ensure a proper job. After discovering an unexpected leak in one bathroom faucet, they kept at it until the issue was resolved. I highly recommend Butter Plumbing, specifically Kenneth and Terrence, and Melissa on the other end of the phone line for an appointment. Wow! I've hired over 20 plumbers in the last 18 years to work on my fourplex in Los Angeles, so I have a solid foundation on which to rate Mark at Butter Plumbing. This week, I've paid $70 each to three Las Vegas plumbers to come out and give me a quote on plumbing repair, additions, and bringing my plumbing up-to-code. That's $210 I've invested this week in finding a plumber worthy of my business. Exceedingly beyond compare, Butter Plumbing, by way of their professional plumber, Mark, who was the person who came out, impressed me as the most honest, thorough, genuine, and trustworthy plumber I have EVER met. Mark is clearly an experienced and detailed plumber, and an employee of Butter Plumbing. The other two plumbers who came out were commissioned, independent contractors neither of whom were thorough or transparent. I was as knowledgeable as they were - truly, because I've done a lot of my own plumbing work for almost two decades, in addition to watching and learning from the many plumbers I've hired in the past to work on my fourplex. I feel confident that Butter Plumbing will continue to demonstrate the quality I have already experienced from Mark. I will be back here to let you know how the job finished. read more

As opposed to saying or writing "perfect," I prefer to use and seek "excellence" regarding a person or a service. Butter Plumbing is an excellent company or service provider with fine employees and is highly recommended. It's an "excellent" service provider because of its employees. The operative word is "service." The Butter Plumbing employees provided excellent service to us which has been often hard to find in this area. Our house was flooded due to a faulty washing machine. The restoration company needed a water heater (that was enhanced with certain parts to perform solar functions) to be disconnected so the restoration company could remove, replace and paint drywall in the garage. The initial plumbing company that visited essentially disconnected the device with NO PLAN to ever reconnect it, advising me that the parts for the device didn't exist or couldn't be found. I had serious doubts and refused to accept that position. I was ultimately referred to Butter Plumbing. Butter Plumbing's Nelly, Ura and also Dawn are the 3 people with whom I exchanged communications and observed workmanship that deserve special recognition. In particular, Ura is a remarkable, knowledgeable and skilled person. From the first encounter with the kind and effervescent Nelly to the physical visits by the pleasant and professional plumber Ura and a follow up call by a thoughtful and thorough Dawn as well as a subsequent chat with Nelly proved to me each time that this is an excellent and premier company in Clark County. Upon Ura's initial visit, he assessed the problem and then returned with the proper parts which fixed the unit. He also gave me an excellent education about the device's functions and future needs far better than the (now out-of-business company which sold me the unit) ever did! We were and are extremely pleased with the personnel and the actual service provided by Ura. This company is highly recommended. Excellent service is a rare commodity these days. We have used Butter Plumbing for several years, recommended by our daughter (who found them on Yelp), and we have been uniformly pleased with every service. We have had simple things (faucet replacement, new toilet tank, hot water recirculating pump) and things a little more complex (major flood in six rooms, caused by rats chewing through our water softener discharge line - not the happiest of times) and the subsequent replacement. Every single person who has responded has been professional, on-time - always a plus - and explained what need to be done, alternatives (if an option) and gave us the cost before the service. This was my first time using this company. When I purchased my house several years ago, the home inspector recommended replacing my main shut off valve to the house since it was beat up looking and the valve handle was rusted in the open position. I was quoted a price and a time that the plumber would arrive. Right on time and no add ons to the quoted price. The gentleman that did the work was friendly and very thorough.
