The Focus Plumbing receipt to legitimized my feedback.
Marlon ..

Focus plumbing I feel extremely disappointed with this company. I have Rheem waterless tank and they put their sticker on the Rheem body so I called them when I have an error code 11 meaning I have a defective igniter. Focus Plumbing came to our house charge me $69 for the labor and $341 for the igniter. I agree because my waterless tank is under manufacturer warranty hoping that I can claim majority of the $341. The plumber said that I may not refund all. That's fine, I'm happy if I can claim even for 50% to 75% as long as the water heater will be fix. Now, when I talked to the manufacturer, the cost of igniter is only $20 and when I tried to look at Home Depot the price is also around $20 but for a reputable and trusted brand - Focus Plumbing it charge me $341 for the parts. I feel betrayed. I rather be scam by a scammer than a trusted brand. I will appreciate if Focus Plumbing give me options such as: "hey I have an Igniter right here but it will cost you 17x than the market value and I can install it right now to fix your problem or since your heater is under warranty, you can call the manufacturer and order the parts and when the parts was delivered to you, you call us again and we will install it but you need to pay for the labor of another $69. What would you like?" If I choose install it now then I have no regret bec of the full and honest disclosure. For now, I feel extremely disappointed and scammed.

Is this a scam??? My Rheem tankless water heater was not working so I called Focus Plumbing to come diagnose the issue. Next day, Landon S., a technician showed up and found error code 11 on the indicator. So, he showed his price list for replacing the malfunctioned part is $341 on top of $69 diagnostic charge. Since the heater is couple years old and still under a warranty, so I agreed to have it replaced. I addressed to the technician that I need a very precise details on the part that replaced so I can reimburse the part's cost from Rheem. He accepted my proposal. I then went to the kitchen for less than 10 minutes and came back and found that the part was already replaced. He asked me to check for hot water. I checked and it worked. He emailed me the receipt indicated the replaced part as ignition assembly and I sent to Rheem for the reimbursement. Rheem advised that "Ignition Assembly" is too broad and requested the exact name and the nit number of the replaced part. I contacted Joe Pressing, customer service manager, to issue a new receipt detailing name and unit number of the part. He issued a revised paper with a unit number. I submitted the revision to Rheem and was told that the replaced part costs only $20. I checked back with Joe and he replied "You are not getting charged for the part. That is written on the invoice. Labor is included. That is written down." I sent an email replied "Are you saying that I was charged $410 for replacement of the $20 part?" Surely, I would not go back for their business in the future!!!

Your driver (I posted the photo of his truck) just ran us off the highway lane (South on 215) into the median lane and has no idea because he was too busy on his phone to notice. We are traveling with our 6 month old baby. Please make sure your drivers are being more attentive. Thank God, my husband has extremely quick reflexes and the patience and stoicism of a Saint.

No signal use and the phone number is gone

I encountered one of their field supervisors driving at a high rate of speed and weaving through traffic on boulder hwy and then exiting on the 515 south on a Friday the 2nd at 2:44 in the afternoon on February 2024. He had a total disregard for all the other drivers. I was able to get the phone number from yelp because his number was scrapped of conveniently. I called the office and they were no help. If this is how they care about people I don't know what their customer service is like.

When our hot water heater failed, Chance quickly assessed the issue by having our tenant send photos. He was able to determine that the leak was coming from the unit itself (not the pipes), which saved valuable time and avoided unnecessary delays. Although the initial installation timeline was about two days, I shared that our tenants have small children and asked if there was any chance for an earlier opening. They went above and beyond, contacting us the very next afternoon after they finished early for the day, and were able to complete the replacement ahead of schedule. Their pricing was transparent, the installation was efficient, and their communication was outstanding. We received updates via text, email, and phone. Michael sent a photo after the work was completed and also made it easy to handle payment remotely. Most importantly,I felt confident that they were taking great care of our tenants in our absence. It's rare to find this level of professionalism, service and integrity and I recommend them with complete confidence.

I spoke with Chance at Pipe Dreams Plumbing and he was quick to answer, very transparent about the scope of work, and fairly priced compared to competitors. Scheduling was easy, and he was upfront that drywall would need to be cut to replace the box (drywall repair/paint not included). Michael and another technician arrived on time, were professional and tidy, and completed the job without issues. They also accept credit cards with no extra surcharge. I'd definitely use Pipe Dreams again for future plumbing needs. Thank you!

I've received free tune-ups & quotes from a couple other businesses, but I've been seeing Bumble Breeze at neighbors' homes & was intrigued. I've been meaning to contact them for a 3rd perspective so the raffle win happened to be perfect timing. Jamal came out to complete the complimentary tune-up & the experience was superb! He took photos of everything he serviced, offered to have me tag along so I can understand the processes he was completing & thoroughly answered any/every question I had. His findings were similar to the other two companies I received two quotes from... a new a/c system is need (oy...). The difference was, he was very thorough in explaining why he felt the replacement was needed & showed concrete facts of why. Even emailed me a copy of his photos/videos and notes so I could show my husband when he got home. Jamal completed his professional service, made sure all my questions were answered and scheduled for me to talk to a manager abut options and pricing. I was hesitant to move forward, but the replacement was inevitable. I could have rode it out until the unit was on its last string, but this is Vegas. I wanted to be preventative. Plus, 3 neighbors' units crapped out within the month. I didn't want to be the 4th in the height of a hot summer. Queue in Larry. He was beyond professional. Personable even. I was ready for the upselling and pushiness, but the experience never came. He went over Jamal's findings with me once more. Explained his recommendations for new units & even suggested an extra vent install for better performance. The kicker? He didn't deviate from his initial guesstimated price as he continued to include various extras that would help us put our best foot forward. Who does that? Bumble Breeze apparently lol. After everything was said & done, I told him I wanted to talk it over with my husband & make sure we can afford the financing. No pressure or pushiness on his end. We even agreed on a date of no contact if he never heard from me to ease the indecisiveness. He followed up with me & offered an additional incentive where I couldn't say no. BumbleBreeze with the install, maintenance/extended warranties & extra razzle dazzle of free dryer vent cleaning and sanitization ended up being almost $10k cheaper than my other two quotes!! No brainer. We came up with a comfortable number, finance plan/budget and the appt for install happened in no time. Jesus & Curtis came in and completed the install. Just like Jamal and Larry, both gentlemen were courteous, professional & friendly. They were mindful of my home and their mess during the whole process. They kept me in the loop as the process went on too. They gave me a tour of the finished product & explained filters and my new thermostat. Curtis made sure any of my questions were answered and explained how beneficial the new unit will be overall before they left. They explained a tech will be in contact complete the process with a duct sanitization and cleaning as well as the promised free dryer vent cleaning. Devin came a couple days later to finish the job. Just like all the rest, he was professional, courteous and friendly. He completed the vent cleaning & sanitization process. He took before & after photos/videos that I got emailed a copy of for my records. He made sure the team prior was thorough with the initial tune-up, inspection and install. He even took a photo of the filter recommendation sticker on the unit while he was in the attic to make sure I had all the info I needed. He explained the duct maintenance schedule and went on his way. As a home owner, dreaded big purchases like a new a/c unit in Vegas is traumatizing sometimes. However, Bumble Breeze made this experience as positive as it could be. I see the reviews and posts about post-install trauma and maintenance. I'll definitely update my review if I experience anything negatory like that. However, from this current experience, I'm confident with my experience moving forward. Thanks so much!!

After considerable time spent coordinating the visit, we were finally informed that they did not have the appropriate equipment or expertise to access and inspect the HVAC units. A preliminary evaluation of the site requirements should have been carried out at the beginning of the process. This would have avoided unnecessary delays and wasted time for all parties involved. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this provider for commercial HVAC assessments requiring planning, coordination, and technical qualification.

We have decided to sell our home and with that comes the buyer's home inspection process. The buyer's inspector suggested that our double sinks were not up to code and required repair. To appease our buyers, I immediately called Pure Plumbing to correct the issue. Francis C. was dispatched to my home today in regard to the above matter. Turns out, the sinks are very much up to code. He took several pictures, cited plumbing code, etc. I was relieved that we did not require a repair and that Francis and Pure Plumbing was so honest with me. Francis provided me with documentation of his findings that I can keep for my records and also provide to the realtors/buyers. It has been a pleasure doing business with Pure Plumbing and I highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs. Unfortunately, my experience changed once the technician arrived. After discussing my concerns, only a very limited inspection was performed. The technician checked my refrigerant lines by hand and, during the process, tore part of the insulation covering the lines. The insulation was left damaged without being repaired, repositioned, or taped back together. I explained that I had recently cleaned the system myself and had been experiencing performance issues afterward. By the time of the appointment, the system had fortunately started operating normally again. Despite my concerns, the technician did not perform what I would consider a thorough inspection of either the outdoor unit or the indoor head unit. Several areas I asked about were dismissed with comments such as, "Don't worry about that, it doesn't need cleaning." When I later asked about replacement options and newer systems, the conversation quickly shifted toward sales estimates. I was quoted approximately $11,000 for a new ductless mini-split installation. While I understand labor, materials, permits, overhead, and warranties contribute to installation costs, the estimate seemed significantly higher than I expected. What confused me most was that the technician appeared far more interested in discussing replacement options than addressing the maintenance concerns I originally scheduled the appointment for. At the end of the visit, I was informed there would be a $19 charge. Assuming this was being collected before the advertised coil cleaning service was performed, I also provided a $20 tip. However, the technician then left without performing any coil cleaning service. In the end, I paid for a service call, had insulation on my system damaged, received very little troubleshooting or maintenance assistance, and never received the coil cleaning that was advertised and expected. I left the experience disappointed and feeling that my concerns were never properly addressed. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.
